In a recent press conference, Michael Gunner (pictured), the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory in Australia has said that those who oppose mandatory vaccination mandates are “anti-vaxxers”. According to Gunner, “your personal vaccination status is utterly irrelevant”, meaning that even those who are fully vaccinated but disagree with the policy politically deserving of the label, with the Minister also proclaiming that “enforcement, rather than encouragement” should be the main method deployed to drive up vaccination rates. Gunner made it more than clear during a press conference in which he was asked if his hardline stance on vaccine mandates might have turned some away from getting the jab that anyone who wasn’t 100% for the state’s increasingly draconian vaccination mandates was a true “anti-vaxxer“. Even if they themselves had been vaccinated, he argued, Australians were either with the virus or with the mandates.
“If you give a green light, give comfort to, support anybody who argues against the vaccine, you are an anti-vaxxer. Your personal vaccination status is utterly irrelevant,” Gunner declared.
The term ‘anti-vaxxer’, previously used to denote a parent who opposed vaccination for their children, has seen its meaning expanded during the Covid pandemic to include anyone who opposes vaccination for themselves, and now, in the eyes of ardent vaccine supporters, anyone who opposes a mandate, whether or not they themselves have taken the shot.
“If you’re out there in any way, shape or form campaigning against the mandate, then you are absolutely anti-vax,” he continued, insisting the state’s vaccination mandate was “absolutely critical” to saving lives. “I will never back away from supporting vaccines, and anyone out there who comes for the mandate, you are anti-vax,” Gunner snarled.

What fools like this bulging-eyed loon do not seem to understand is that the vast majority of people are not anti-vax, they are pro-vax. What those he attacks are very much against is untested, unlicensed, emergency use only drugs being passed off as Vaccines when they most assuredly are nothing of the sort. It’s hard to tell with hardcore socialists like Gunner, but I fear the pandemic has broken his mind. In using the power of the state to direct people’s opinions and transporting people with covid to military camps, he has crossed a line few politicians in the West have crossed. He must be removed from power and charged with crimes against humanity.
Well, guess who this makes an ‘anti-vaxxer, then? Australia’s very own Prime Minister, the jolly jabber himself, Scott Morrison. In August, Morrison said that mandatory vaccination would breach Australia’s privacy laws and discrimination laws, and that his policy remains that the Covid vaccines (sic) should be voluntary – “in our country, everyone has choices and they have choices that are supported by the rule of law”. In July, he had said “we are not going to seek to impose a mandatory vaccination program by the Government, by stealth … (or) by some other means”. So, then, no compulsion, no coercion, no forced jabbing on pain of losing your job or never being allowed to visit a hairdresser or library again.

There are a tiny handful of politicians in Australia maintaining opposition to forced cell therapy. Marshall has also stated no mandates outside of HCW and police, which while a crime against humanity is at least better than a universal one. How long can they hold out?
What I want to know is, who is likely to ride to their rescue? In all the world, I can think of no one. I’m ashamed of my country. We utter not a word in defense of human rights.
Yes, there has been a complete rout of civil liberties and human rights principle in Australia, not least by the professional civil liberties crowd who have fallen for the Covid hysteria and basically shut up shop. Sadly, too many of the Australian population at large have been ready to sell their rights and freedoms for a 0.02% increase in perceived safety.
Steven Marshall, leader of the ‘moderate’ faction of the Liberals in South Australia has, so far, limited the No-Jab-No-Job mandates to health and aged care, and police, (and, in this respect, he is better than his Labor counterparts) but a broader vaxx passport could become a thing on his watch. He has allowed private venues such as Adelaide Oval for the upcoming Test cricket match against the touring English to make the call for vaxx-only or open-to-all admission (they have, unsurprisingly gone the double-jab option) as have some other venues like Cooper Stadium (AFL football) and the Convention Centre (arts and entertainment). I, as a South Australian, fear more along these lines with the hand-washing by Premier Marshall signalling his tacit approval of discrimination.
If he is the best of the lot, then we are in for a grim time.
These haters of the unvaccinated make me sick to the pit of my stomach. I grew up in the 1960’s and 70’s surrounded by hatred of Jews, homosexuals, and non-whites. Even people with disabilities were fair game for bullying and mockery. I remember that even as a very young boy I found that kind of behaviour illogical and disturbing. We have come a long way since those dark days, and I’m so grateful that we now live in a society that insists on tolerance, even of things that we don’t necessarily approve of ourselves. Yet here we are, with politicians encouraging hatred of people with an opinion about freedom that they personally don’t like. If a politician cannot support freedom of thought, he has no business being in politics. If a politician cannot follow the very simple logic required to deduce that vaccine mandates are a terrible idea, that is beyond pitiful. We cannot allow these people to prevail. We will have to fight this insidious development to the death, if necessary.
Before March 2020, I never in my life wanted to see anyone taken out and shot.
Now, there are so many candidates for whom it’s my fondest wish.

But Steven Fry, has some interesting thoughts about the way the Nazis and other regimes, started dehumanising Jews with words. That is the similar situation we are getting into now. Dehumanising those who do not want to me vaccinated.

Beautiful interview with Alexander Tschugguel. He was thoughtful, considered and intelligent. He won’t be allowed on the BBC as it will damage the narrative that people who want to decide on their own health are wide-eyed loons. Do watch it, it is heart warming.

Interesting point that Alexander Tschugguel made is that 100,000 out of a small population of 9m is actually a lot of people (that would be the equivalent of a demonstration of 650,000 in the UK). Even the BBC would have to report that, no doubt describing it as a few dozen vandals, teenagers and far right activists bent on trouble.
