All U.K. Children Could Be Offered Covid Vaccines by the End of the Year

by Michael Curzon
19 July 2021 10:24 AM

The Government will announce its plans for the vaccination of children against Covid later today and is expected to say that only clinically vulnerable children and those living with vulnerable adults will be included in the national roll-out – for now. It hasn’t taken long for reports to emerge suggesting that all children could be offered a vaccine by the end of the year. The argument is that it will be difficult to reach herd immunity if children remain unvaccinated. The Telegraph has the story.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) is expected to announce that only vulnerable youngsters between the ages of 12 and 15, and 17 year-olds within three months of their 18th birthday, will be offered a jab amid concerns there is too little data on safety and efficacy in young people.

But the JCVI is expected to leave the door open for more children to be vaccinated once trials conclude later this year, the Telegraph understands.

In June, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency approved the Pfizer jab for 12 to 15 year-olds in Britain following early trial results in teenagers, but there is still no data for younger children.

Pfizer is expected to release results on trials for five to 11 year-olds in September and two to five year-olds by November, with the company expecting regulator approval within a month of releasing positive data. AstraZeneca is also conducting trials in children aged six to 17, with the British team likely to release results before the end of the year.

On Sunday, experts warned that it may be difficult to reach herd immunity in Britain if children are not vaccinated. Nearly one in five people in the U.K. are under 16 and, despite everyone being offered a vaccine, around 12% of adults have not had a first jab.

Professor Neil Ferguson, of Imperial College, a member of SAGE, told the BBC: “In the absence of vaccinating it’s inevitable that we’re going to have very high numbers of cases in teenagers, and we will not be able to reach herd immunity without significant immunity in people under 18.”

The JCVI is expected to keep the situation under review and will be watching the results from trials closely.

Scientists are particularly concerned that vaccination may damage the developing immune system of younger children. Different age groups may require different doses, further complicating the roll-out, and companies must show it will not make children who get Covid more ill – which has happened with other vaccines in the past.

Experts are also worried that the benefits to children may not outweigh the risks, making vaccination ethically dubious and leaving the Government vulnerable to legal challenges.

A Department of Health spokesman said: “The Government will continue to be guided by the advice of the JCVI, and no decisions have been made by ministers on whether people aged 12 to 17 should be routinely offered Covid vaccines.”

Worth reading in full.

LFT test has nothing to do with viral diagnosis, it’s all about acidity.
Kids are tricking the tests into giving false positives using orange juice- citric acid.
What’s the common theme of people having a test done?
Wearing a mask.
What happens when you wear a mask for long periods?
Saliva needed to maintain neutral pH in mouth dries out, residual moisture in mouth and nose becomes over-saturated with CO2 trapped in air pocket behind the mask – CO2 + H2O = carbonic acid.
That’s all it is folks, LFT is nothing more than a pH test and it keys off acidity.

Ferguson ignores the point that kids will catch it (if they are going to) over time, and that will lead to herd immunity anyway. But of course we now have to pretend that the only route to herd immunity is via vaccines.

But the “vaccines” aren;t making anyone immune are they?

This is way beyond digusting, but inevitable.

I wonder how they will cover up all the deaths and injuries? In a sick way I hope there are many, enought to put a stop to the plan.

They are lying scum.

Remember a few weeks ago -no covid passports/mandatory jabs – then a midnight parliamentary coup to mandate these poison shots for care workers.

No jabs for children reported in The Sunday Telegraph yesterday..wrong again, the revolting vaccines propaganda minister wants them in the arms of all over 12 year olds – that is guaranteed to be govt policy in the next few months.

Next saturday- London protest, Chris Whitty`s house again ??

“we’re going to have very high numbers of cases in teenagers, and we will not be able to reach herd immunity without significant immunity in people under 18.”

Strictly, that is not an argument for injecting children, though NF may be hoping it’s mistaken for one. “Very high numbers of cases” would lead to “significant immunity”, though there is an odd mismatch between “teenagers” (13 to 19) and “people under 18”.

Both his assertions are, at best, questionable:

“very high numbers of cases” would require a great number still to be vulnerable, despite prior (cross) immunity and previous recovery. Furthermore, using “case” correctly, rather than merely to denote an ability to produce a “positive” test result, it could be said there has never been any prospect of “high numbers of cases in teenagers”.

“to reach herd immunity without significant immunity in people under 18”, depends upon the estimate of the herd immunity threshold.

Ferguson seems to have a Rasputin like hold over Johnson and the BBC. There’s no other explanation. Quite apart from the ludicrous inaccuracy of his modelling, he seems to have been completely rehabilitated from his own failure to observe the lockdown he was influential in inflicting on the rest of us.

He represents everything I despise about the last 16 months. A charlatan and a huckster with an agenda able to hold a lazy and intellectually incurious Prime Minister in a svengali-like hold. And all the while the national broadcaster (which we are obliged to fund on pain of criminal penalty) provides an uncritical platform for him.

Heaven help us.

I would almost agree to have the so-called vaccine if it would stop this nasty business of jabbing kids unnecessarily, but you can’t trust this lot to stick to any deal.
Only two days ago, the government said they would only stab vulnerable kids. Next day they would wait for SPI-B, and then in the paper it all changes.
Can’t wait for them to blame the next lockdown on the un-jabbed and maskless.

“Experts are also worried that the benefits to children may not outweigh the risks…”

You really don’t have to be an ‘expert’ to assess that this is no conundrum : the question is settled, and before the outbreak of this panicdemic, there would have been no question that the inoculation of children with the snake oil is an absolute ‘No No’.

I have had to assess the risk/benefit equation in very hard personal terms. I don’t have the luxury of pissing about – there have been decisions to be made.

As a vulnerable old fart, sometimes pressurised by family with the best of (if wrong) motives, the decision not to indulge in the snake oil was a no-brainer : both in terms of principle and practise.

But then, I realized that I could make that decision easily, because I have been faced with the hard reality of choosing treatments for cancer, and consequently weighing up risk and benefit in much less theoretical terms. Peculiarly, I hadn’t made the obvious link between the two decisions.

… but the conclusions were much the same : some treatments are just not worth the risk of an uncertain benefit – even at the expense of a notional (but doubtful) extension of life in a degraded form. Certainly that principle holds for Covid – apart from the snake-oil issue. The NPI ‘treatments’, based on a rational assessment of evidence have absolutely no justification in terms of life enhancement. Only an irrational, shivering mental wreck – such as the psy-op was aimed at producing would think otherwise.

Children already have natural herd immunity, which trumps anything which is claimed to be delivered through the point of a needle. Vaccinating children may well influence their natural immunity in a negative, way. All of the Covid vaccines are clearly dangerous and children, who are all already immune, are to be put at high risk of vaccine damage and death. Vaccinating children for Covid is clearly a serious form of abuse. Parents, schools, medical staff and government are acting criminally in allowing promoting, or delivering child Covid vaccination and must be held accountable.

Friends, this is for all the marbles. World ivermectin day is on 24th July, the good news is it works and is saving lives in Bangladesh, Belize,Bolivia,Bulgaria,Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, Guatamala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela, Zimbabwe.

The psychopaths who want to jab all the children are going for broke now, because once the damn breaks and the massive censorship and suppression of information campaign against ivermectin is validated, along with this drug’s irrefutable effectiveness in treating c19 patients – at that point, the EUA (emergency use authorisation) for the experimental gene therapies *cannot* remain active, as there will be an alternative treatment available with ivermectin.

https://www.worldivermectinday.org

To any parents thinking of allowing their children to be jabbed, I would say to you that the subsequent guilt will consume you down the line. Historically, the human race has always had its elders protect the children. This has been perversely inversed now that children are being sacrificed on the alter of greater good gaslighting insane collectivist propaganda, to ‘protect’ the elderly. Reject it.

Bravery and critical thinking supersede obedience and compliance.

In children, the risks of having the vaccine outweigh those of catching SARS-CoV-2.
There is no moral, ethical or legal case for administering the vaccine to children.
Any medical professional advocating this should face mandatory retraining in medical ethics or be struck off

“…we will not be able to reach herd immunity without significant immunity in people under 18″
What?
Despite the fact that children (<18) are a minority in the population and the majority have some degree of immunity either through having had the virus or having had a vaccine?
The capacity for this twonk to spout utter bull and, worse, for it to be disseminated and believed utterly astounds me.

This, at a time where all around the world there is evidence of large numbers of COVID-19 infections of fully vaccinated people.

That’s before we get into the realms of looking at the scale of injury and death being caused by these so-called vaccines, and the fact that children are at no risk from the virus itself.

The vaccines don’t work.
They are not safe.
And children don’t need vaccines, because they are not at risk from the virus.

I’m willing to believe there are some who sincerely believe the vaccination program is an overall good, even the mass vaccination of the adult non-vulnerable. I don’t hold to that position myself, but it’s arguably possible to hold it honourably.

But even considering jabbing healthy kids is either mad, evil or both and anyone who goes there has crossed a red line as far as I am concerned.

Folk are completely brainwashed though, just yesterday my OH had a conversation with a workmate (who is in no way stupid), he asked if OH had had his vaccine, no I’ve had Covid I have natural immunity..
Workmate then said, ah but that only protects you against that strain of the virus, the jab protects you from all the variants!!!!

OH had to hold his tongue as it was a work colleague, but FFS, how can a grown, intelligent person actually think that your own immune system won’t recognise and fight off a virus that it’s had already, but a fecking dodgy vaccine will do a better job.

The herd immunity and HIT fantasy.
The gift that keeps on giving.
Exactly as those crooks who dreamt it up intended it to be.
Profs Gatti and Montanari forecasted that this would happen, if this myth, without any medical evidence behind it and no chance or relevance in practice (we are not a defined fenced-in herd that doesn’t mix with others at all, and even if, as long as one stupid cow has or gets it, any ither stupid cow who hasn’t had it yet can still get it, and if us humans can get it from animals, it’s totally pointless and absurd anyway), would ever ridiculously be accepted as being true, a decade ago already.

‘Herd immunity’ is a false goal.

The herd immunity threshold for a vaccine is given by the equation:

HIt = (1 – (1/R0)) / (vaccine efficiency)

where R0 is the basic reproduction number
and ‘vaccine efficiency’ is the ability of the vaccine to stop onwards transmission.

For covid and R0=3 (original variant) and with a perfect vaccine the HIt ~ 65%. This is where the original estimates of the herd immunity came from.
For covid and R0=6 (Delta variant, supposedly) and with a perfect vaccine HIt ~ 83%. The proportion of the UK’s population under 18 is about 20%, thus some children need to be jabbed to reach this herd immunity threshold. I believe that this is where we are now.

But these equations assume a perfect vaccine. For the original variant the vaccines were somewhat effective (reduce onward transmission by 75%, based on a 50% protection from becoming infected and 50% reduction in transmission once infected). With R0=3 this gives a HIt ~ 90%. Thus it would have been difficult to have achieved herd immunity using the vaccines even from the start.

For Delta with R0=6 and with vaccine efficiency at preventing onward transmission at about 35% (based on 20% protection from infection and 20% protection from onward transmission) you get HIt ~ 240%. A HIt above 100% means that it is impossible to achieve. A HIt way above 100% means that vaccines won’t really be doing anything much to control the disease.

To invoke ‘herd immunity’ to justify the vaccination of children is just a sign of scientific illiteracy; the goals of mass vaccination is purely political.

That’s the equation for the herd immunity threshold. You can add natural immunity in to it if you like, but you won’t get a herd immunity threshold under 100%. That’s the reason why colds exist and don’t go extinct.

Natural immunity to covid is complex. Antibody immunity is short lived. The reasons for this are unclear, but it has been suggested that antibodies remain active for each current coronavirus wave (ie, pre-covid coronavirus ‘colds’) to allow for suppression of symptoms, but disappear before the next coronavirus outbreak, because mutations in the virus increase the risk of ADE. Note that while coronaviruses do have summer outbreaks, they tend to have little in the way of symptoms and aren’t particularly noticed.

Humans do make a long lived cellular (T-cell) adaptive immune response to coronaviruses. However, these do not stop infection but merely allow the disease to be cleared up rapidly without debilitating symptoms appearing. As the cellular immune response recognises more ‘parts of the virus’ it is less likely to be negated by mutations and thus remains competent for what appears to be decades.

Of course, if you train the cellular immune system with only part of the virus then it won’t be able to respond so well if that small part of the virus mutates. This is what we’ve done with the vaccines — there is some stimulation of the cellular immune system (although evidence suggests a substantially inferior response compared with natural infection), but unlike natural infection this cellular immunity is more readily defeated by mutations in the spike protein and thus even though the immunity will be long lived, it’ll be immunity to a virus that no longer is in existence (the original covid).

“You can add natural immunity in to it if you like, but you won’t get a herd immunity threshold under 100%”

No. I think you may be taking herd immunity, at the threshold, as a more benign state than it’s generally understood to be. “The critical value, or threshold, in a given population, is the point where the disease reaches an endemic steady state, which means that the infection level is neither growing nor declining exponentially.” ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herd_immunity#Theoretical_basis )

We are looking, simply, for the susceptible proportion (S) to be the reciprocal of R0. S is the complement of the proportion who have been effectively vaccinated (excluding those who were, anyway, immune) plus the proportion who have natural immunity. Providing natural immunity is able to rise, as is usually the case when people catch, and recover from, the infection, the threshold is achieved, regardless of how ineffective the vaccine is.

What is true, however, is that a vaccine may be too ineffective to create herd immunity on its own – i.e. without people becoming infected as the equilibrium point is approached, and (at a lower rate) after it is achieved.

“why colds exist and don’t go extinct”

They continue to circulate at the equilibrium point, and never run out of susceptible hosts because the host population is continually rolling over (well, it’s the births that count, not the deaths).

An important paper I read about a decade ago by Professor Ian Stewart FRS of Warwick University demonstrated the way weaknesses in the way the FDA allowed drug companies to conduct tests allowed ineffective or dangerous drugs to be approved. Thus:

The pharma companies conduct a number of trials. Some of them show no statistically significant positive effect. Others do – positive or negative. That’s inevitable with randomness. Toss a coin often enough and you will get a long run of heads.

So Pharma DISCONTINUES tests which are looking bad. That alone skews the results. But what makes it worse is that the FDA does not make them submit the results of all completed tests – the drug companies can SELECT THE BEST and forget the rest.

As Milton Friedman pointed out, regulators are inevitably captured by those they regulate. That seems to be the case here.
