Should the State Punish People for Their Health Choices?

by Noah Carl
6 January 2022 8:08 AM

Emmanuel Macron has caused some consternation by saying that he wants to “piss off” the unvaccinated. And you can understand why. Politicians – especially ones purporting to be liberal – don’t usually base their policies on the goal of “pissing off” a subset of the electorate.

Even Donald Trump chose his words more carefully. Perhaps Macron will call up his old friend to get some advice on the art of rhetoric.

Yet as Will Jones notes, Macron does deserve credit for being honest. Unlike other politicians who’ve dabbled in vaccine passports, he’s not claiming to be concerned about the ‘externality of transmission’. Rather, he wants to punish the unvaccinated until they make the ‘right’ choice.

Under proposed legislation, only the fully vaccinated (is that three or four jabs?) will qualify for the country’s new health pass. Those who present a negative test will not. Since a vaccinated person is far more likely to spread the virus than someone with a negative test, we know this law isn’t designed to stop transmission.

Of course, if it were designed to stop transmission, that wouldn’t make any more sense. The latest infection numbers show that vaccine passports have failed spectacularly in this regard.

After outlining his shrewd public health strategy of “pissing off” the unvaccinated, Macron added: “When my freedoms threaten those of others, I become someone irresponsible. Someone irresponsible is not a citizen.” Now the unvaccinated aren’t citizens? That escalated quickly…

The only justification I can imagine for Macron’s new policy is the one Andrew Neil gave in his op-ed for the Daily Mail. Since the unvaccinated are more likely to wind up in hospital, they place a greater burden on the national health service.

Yet, as I’ve pointed out before, this argument implies we should punish anyone who makes choices that lead to above-average hospital usage. For example, we could introduce obesity passports; or passports for skateboarders, rugby players or people who get drunk on a Friday night.

By Macron’s logic, obese people’s freedom to get fat threatens his freedom not to wait in line at the hospital. Are the obese also unworthy of citizenship?

More than 90% of French adults have already received the vaccine. And a lot of the rest have probably had Covid. Instead of threatening people with crass barroom talk, Macron might consider that quaint old tactic – persuasion.

To be clear we have already spent a year being “persuaded” in very unpleasant and unreasonable ways that we must have these novel, largely un-trialled products which cause cardio-vascular disease, have caused unprecedented levels of adverse effects and that is if they even worked. https://www.bmj.com/content/375/bmj.n3152/rr-1Moreover, it lies outside the legal remit of even doctors to put psychological pressures on patients to undergo medical intervention. I am not sure what knowledge Noah Carl could impart which would change my view but he has not even begun.

Informed consent is not possible. The information needed to give it, is being kept away from the public and in some cases is locked away for decades. Long term safety data is of course impossible at this stage and so all that is left is taking the jab on trust, which given the principal actors involved in the Covid scam is about as stupid as it gets.

I think the way to kill these passports off is to do just that. When sponsored legislation comes forward point to obesity being the #2 biggest comorbidity after dementia, a leading factor in hospital usage, and make it a vaccine and obesity passport.

There is no argument that can be mustered in defense of passports that doesn’t apply to obesity or smoking or failure to get a flu shot or any number of other things. And given that there is evidence it increases infections due to overconfidence, perhaps more justification for an anti-obesity passport. Though as a perpetually skinny person, I really should shut up now.

But come on, what would be better than a battle between Big Pharma and Big Sugar/Carbs? Better than Kong vs
Godzilla.

How does it apply to every country?
I ask beacuse I see it quaoted many times and have yet to find any specific law(s).

Montgomery v Lanarkshire [2015] is a landmark judgment affecting the surgeon/patient relationship. The Supreme Court held that patients have the right to exercise autonomy over their own bodies and over the treatment they undergo. When making treatment choices it is the surgeon’s duty to advise and the patient’s right to decide. This right of autonomy over treatment is a common law right. It does not come from the European Convention on Human Rights but has been created by British judges in cases beginning with Sidaway [1985]. In Montgomery the Supreme Court gave it a final and very decisive stamp of approval. The Court held:
“An adult person of sound mind is entitled to decide which, if any, of the available forms of treatment to undergo … The doctor is therefore under a duty to take reasonable care to ensure that the patient is aware of any material risks involved in any recommended treatment, and of any reasonable alternative … The test of materiality is whether, in the circumstances of the particular case, a reasonable person in the patient’s position would be likely to attach significance to the risk, or the doctor is or should reasonably be aware that the particular patient would be likely to attach significance to it.”

Common Law trumps everything.

Yesterday the Mail ran a piece where Chris Whitty told us “‘How absolutely crazy it is, absolutely crazy, that there are two million slots this week for people to get vaccinated and yet the majority of people in ICU for Covid are not vaccinated – 61%,‘”.
This seemed a little high, so after a bit of pondering I found the so called smoking gun, the ICNARC report which he referred to. The specific chart is below:
The 61% referred to is not the current situation as he stated, it is 61% of all ICU patients since May 1st. Given patients are not fully vaccinated for two weeks, this means the 16th April when less than 10 million people were fully vaccinated.
Still feeling it was a touch excessive, despite the evidence pondering this I realised this chart was simply the covid dashboard Vaccination uptake by report date data compressed into proportions of a whole.
Should we not be able to trust our CMO to actually read the charts dropped in front of him? No wonder we are in such a mess.

This is not about ‘health choices’. This is about falling into line with the regimes pseudo-medical New Normal ideology, or resisting it. Every move they make to crush the remaining resistance HAS to be portrayed as being done for the nations ‘health and safety’ i.e. for the ‘greater good’. Every tyrannical regime in history has deployed that old chestnut.

That is a vital piece of info for us to explain to those around us – it should be above the line.
And incidentally, if Noah thinks Macron’s attitude is about saving hospital pressure – “I can only imagine” – he lacks imagination. Clearly it is about much deeper politics than that.

“… it is, absolutely crazy, that there are two million slots this week for people to get vaccinated and yet the majority of people in ICU for Covid are not vaccinated – 61%,”.

What’s absolutely crazy is there’s no mention of the abysmal logical fallacy of this. Look at the two statements:

1. There are two million slots this week for people to get vaccinated.

2. The majority of people in ICU for Covid are not vaccinated.

So what? There is no causal connection between 1 & 2 whatsoever. If there is, let Whitty spell it out. Don’t hold your breath, because there is none. Here’s another one, just as true, and equally meaningless:

2. The majority of people in ICU for Covid are not stamp collectors, and do not support the LA Lakers – 99.9%.

No- this is simply not true anyway ‘not vaccinated’ now means “not boosted”! ie they have already had two doses of the mixture.

Most of those in hospital are vaccinated and just as those on the Cruise Ships now reporting mass outbreaks of “Covid” (symptoms?) are vaccinated – conclusion – the injection is responsible for the symptoms?

Vaccinated people ‘shed’ the spike proteins manufactured in their cells to others!

We are bombarded wit falsehood to keep the narrative alive!

The 61% referred to is not the current situation as he stated, it is 61% of all ICU patients since May 1st.

According to the chart ~60% of ICU admissions in December 2021 were unvaccinated, so Whitty’s statement appears to be correct.

I don’t think you understand the sleight of hand here. The figures are cumulative counts (total) of all people who have entered ICU since the middle of April, not the current situation which Whitty implied. Back in mid April only 10 million were fully vaccinated, meaning 50 million were not, back then most ICU cases were unvaccinated and contributed more.

Something isnt right here. Why, when potent viruses were doing the rounds, the amount of non vaxed ICU admission go down, but when a mild virus was doing the rounds in December, the non vaxed ICU admission suddenly increases. I suspect a covert administrative decision was made in late November in relation to the testing. Either test non vaxed but not vaxed, or raise CT value on vaxed and lower it on unvaxed. Something has been done for sure.
And the non vax admission rise times and correlates perfectly with the third dose, which is the same as the second dose – yet we see no stepped decline for that dose.
It stinks.

I think the number is high and wonder whether the use of NIMs to define the population is skewing the figures. If there are more unvaccinated than we are led to believe this makes the numbers more proportionate Also the report does not break down total hospitalisations by vax status…are the vaccinated being hospitalised disproportionately higher in non covid definitions? Something does not feel right …

Does the chart not show 61% (or thereabouts) unvax critical care admissions for December? It’s weird how it’s gone up from October though. Very strange. Why would that be? it’s not the booster as they are reported separately.

Its like an administrative decision was taken in October to make sure the stats reflect the hype. Did they start to have different CT values for injeced and non injected? We dont know what they are doing in these labs. Its been done before.

Whitty is a proven liar in that he has used, as have others, out of date data and “not the whole story” ( viz very partial data presented at Press briefings passim and subsequently shredded by others) to deliver what he might call “settled” science. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing (the bidding of his Big Pharma chums). Perhaps he agrees with his Lord and Master that the statements made by Gerd vd B, McCullough, AFLD ( see their recent email about their case against mandated jabs where they expose confirmations that these jabs are not vaccines, and therefore are treatments, from Fauci downwards, or upwards if you prefer ) Bhakdi and a load of other non aligned ( i.e. not bought off) scientists are “mumbo jumbo”

If ever there was a phrase that will bite back hard, this is surely it.

May I recommend this to all interested: it is as big a reveal of the acceptance that these jabs are not vaccines as I have found to date, with damnjing ( sic, refers to any situation with a link to Wuhan) admissions including those by Fauci and Big Pharma oiks in a total of 50 cited references – it has major implications in the US if the Judge upholds the case and if so, it will surely be a precedent to be referred to in any UK Court ( perhaps, not a Lawyer):

Expect to hear “citizenship” a lot more over the coming months, as the doom cult narrative switches from the Chinese Virus to social responsibility in order to entrench the credit score apps.

I don’t think Emperor Micron will be able to swing Vax for Votes this time around, but when Le Frogs inevitably vote him in again because (much like here) the opposition eats itself while squabbling for second place, there will be a push for that too.

social responsibility, or in other words collectivism another word for communism where the collective is more important than the individual and the individual must be sacrificed to protect the collective. I have heard it said by the young and the woke that this will be a new form of communism one that will be better because it will be different, Clearly they have read about Russia under Communism, and the Eastern block, undoubtedly North Korea, China etc. What they have failed to do is to understand why it failed and caused so much misery. In all these regimes the people at the top drove around in their fancy cars, lived in great houses, servants, did not queue for mouldy food, were not watched every hour of the day and reported on by their neighbour. However the ordinary people lived and still live under North Korea and China the worst of lives, controlled, their every move monitored and awarded with treats or liberties such as being able to travel on public transport taken away, just like a dog. Look at France, Italy, Austria, Australia and they are just the start a new order is being put in place and people are too dumb whilst they hide behind their masks and do the stupid tests to realise it.

Mattias Desmet mentions this as one of the ways in which mass formation is sustained by those who use it for nefarious purposes. The mass originally forms because a huge group of people whose lives are filled with anxiety but lacking in meaning or social contact get focused on one particular thing (in this case COVID-19) and are sustained by the new social bonds which being part of the group fighting the common “enemy” COVID-19 creates.

Those who are using the mass formation know that painting people who conform to the narrative as “good citizens” strengthens the pro-narrative group and increases animosity against the non-believers.

For now, this mainly applies to the divide between the vaccinated and unvaccinated but it will no doubt be extended to other issues like being a good environmental citizen, or by not eating meat, or whatever the cause du jour happens to be.

Even if clogging up the health system was a valid reason for “punishing” unjabbed people, is there actually any reliable evidence that vaccines really do reduce risk? The data this last week from Germany and Denmark would suggest not. Anyone know of any firm real world evidence the vaccines reduce risk?

If that occurs it is all according to plan.

For governments implementing Agenda 2030 a collapsing health service is perfect – more misery, illness and death. And it is the perfect rinse and repeat. Hospitals at the point of collapse = lockdown and off we go again.

NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING implemented by this government will have the good health of its people at its heart.

I consider myself reasonably well read on the subject of injections. I have not read a single report which confirms their alleged efficacy.

The line usually trotted out is:

“helps to reduce severity of illness if you become infected.” Wholly non verifiable of course. Otherwise the injections simply poison you.

Why do you think it’s “wholly non verifiable”? You have groups with/without an intervention, and you have measurable effects, so what is non-verifiable about that?

To be honest he can say what he wants.
It is parliament who pass laws to make life comfortable or not. At the moment it is the latter. It is likely to stay that way for some time. I persoanlly can not see any laws related to health passports being dropped in the near future.

“Unvaccinated student, 22, spends five days in a coma with Covid-19 and loses her hair after she refused the jab because ‘I thought being young I was safe’
Randomly saw this while doing other stuff (there truly is no escape from this garbage), did some checking and found about 1000 identical stories from media outlets: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10369017/Unvaccinated-student-22-spends-five-days-coma-Covid-19-loses-hair.html

I would be very interested to know if hospitals are systematically treating the vaccinated and unvaccinated differently in terms of treatments.

While there is an (albeit very poor, given its transmissability and relative mildness) argument for segregating those who test positive for COVID and those who test negative, there is NO justification for giving unvaccinated people inferior treatment.

Lots of different categories. No injections. An injection given within the last two weeks. Two injections. Two injections, but one in last two weeks and then three jabs, with the final one being pre two weeks and post two weeks. Which ones are considered ‘vaccinated’?

That’s how the media works. Most stories you read in papers and see on the TV are not sourced by their reporters. They come from trusted agencies like Reuters and PA and AP, the media pays them for news. So put a story into an agency and it will be widely reported.

It’s funny watching the Guardian writers tying themselves in knots while on the one hand pushing the vaccines fanatically but on the other pointing out that it’s predominantly poorer and more ethnic “communities” – the people they supposedly speak on behalf of – who are refusing them.

Macron does deserve credit for being honest

Being honest?

Will Jones continues the general mainstream media trend of taking us for fools.

The EU have had digital “health” passport on the agenda since at least 2015. The tech platform has ‘digital wallet’ built into the platform backbone already, confirming the general globalist plan to introduce CBDC digital money, to replace debased currency that they themselves have debased, and will contine to pilfer, until the whole fucking global system comes down, in order to bring in digital slavery by the back door.

Honest? Fuck off.

“Instead of threatening people with crass barroom talk, Macron might consider that quaint old tactic – persuasion.”. Hmmm, I think the author misses the point slightly; people are making an informed decision to remain unvaccinated. Much of that informed decision being based on articles like Noah has published. The unvaccinated are people that have done their own risk assessment (like we all used to do before the world went mad) and decided that the benefit does not outweigh the risk, and that gaining natural immunity is a safer, longer lasting, and more robust solution. Personally, I’ve had enough ‘persuasion’ to last a lifetime. The answer is the same – no thanks.

Noah, this is the second objectionable article you have written in the last two days.
There is no justification for enforcing jabs that are only being used under emergency conditions, especially ones with such a poor record and incur illness and deaths unimaginably high compared to other jabs.
The argument used about health services has not been made. The data about exactly the age and comorbidity status of unjabbed ( or is that unboosted) in ICUs has not been made public, certainly not in France. Given the continuing age profile of deaths recorded as ‘covid’ it seems reasonable to assume the vast majority of unjabbed in ICUs are elderly with comorbidities. Probably people who have never had a ‘vaccine’ in their lives. But until that data is made available, we just dont know, and its suppression suggests it does not support any argument that Macron could use to justify his attitude to anyone under say 80yrs who has decided for good reason not to either get jabbed at all or not take a third one.
This is just crass, gutter electioneering , pandering to his supporter base. Given the ‘natural immunity’ offered by omicron, it also smacks of a last desperate push to both use stocks of pre-purchased pfizer/moderna and make the ‘vaccine pass’ a universal control mechanism.
No doubt he will look at Italy and wonder if he can take the final ‘mandatory’ step.

just theoretically – say for example that Omicron has mutated into a form that is as dangerous as any other cold. How would we know?

People would still die ‘within 28 days’ of testing for it – likewise hospital admissions. Very old people would die of/with it as they do every winter (excess winter deaths are 40k every year and due to colds killing old people)

Do we have to carry on this farce until the spring, look back and say excess deaths were no different than any other year?

If we are to be hit with the anticipated masive increases in LHP costs, food costs, taxes both local and national, then I suggest it is fair to assume that, yet again, there will be excess deaths. I don’t think these will necessarily be confined to “old” people (whatever that may be). The consequences of government decisions on finance, lockdowns, health and the absurd “green” stuff will be something else, especially if the winter weather is harsh, but, of course, it’ll be yet more “blame Covid” nonsense, assiduously promoted by the media and especially the appalling BBC.

a decent recession takes 3 months off everyone’s life on average – 15 million QALYs for the UK (at least). More QALYs than covid could ever take in the most pessimistic scenarios. But they will come over 20 years I think. I expect this winter to be well within historic bounds (as was last winter and even the winter before – just was funny timing to happen in spring)

things to feel positive about (and it doesn’t excuse anything that has been done to now)

1 – we are waiting 3 weeks before more restrictions – by which time it will be coming down anyway – should have done for the 1st wave but there we are

2 – we can laugh at fascist continental europeans and their funny ways

3 – Omicron is barely a runny nose – this thing is over (and was over april 2020 in reality) – no-one can keep this going for such a benign virus

4 – we actually have an opposition in the conservative backbenchers

5 – even the guardian is printing articles questioning lockdowns

6 – we are around cold season peak now anyway

7 – more people not having boosters – more people saying ‘Im not doing this every 6 months for life’

8 – Tony Blair, Macron, Trudeau – whatever they say – the opposite is true and moral

9 – Ferguson – seems to keep switching between 6000 deaths a day and ‘this may be over’ – he’s just wondering which way to jump

Delta was more severe.
Alpha was more severe than Delta,
I had Alpha and it was no worse than a bad cold for me but I was lucky.
John O’Looney the favourite undertaker of “conspiracy theorists” has Delta and was hospitalised and has now changed his mind that the virus is real and was created as a bio-weapon along with the killer shot jabs.

Macron is playing the oldest trick in the book: scapegoat the innocent for his own failings.

By his own twisted logic, those who have not taken the ‘vaccine’ are being blamed for the ‘vaccine’s’ failure.

The man continues to put a rope around his own neck.

Personal health choices are nothing to do with the state. Particularly when the state-mandated injectable is experimental and no reliable safety data is available (not for 75 years anyway). In this scenario the precautionary principle is entirely valid and rational.

“Since the unvaccinated are more likely to wind up in hospital, they place a greater burden on the national health service.”

Would be good to see the data justifying that statement, in particular who is being counted as “unvaccinated” and over what period the data was collected. Does this mean “never vaccinated”, for example?

Because as we all know lefties know better than the rest of us, and they know that they know better, and so why would anyone not want to do what they tell us because they know better…..

No need to a coherent argument or logical reasoning….they just know!

Obviously it gets tricky when people are denied a state provided service and they then question why they should pay for something they dont receive……..

Even the higher hospitalisation rate is no argument for punishment or mandating.
First, the data on that is mostly wrong, misstated and heavily manipulated.
Second, the vaccination related hospitalisations would have to be deducted from them for a net figure, and those VRHs would have to be assessed honestly in the first place.

And that leaves all the other correct general objections many mentioned here aside.

The vaccination programme began on 8 December 2020 with people receiving the vaccine developed by Pfizer/BioNTech. People began receiving the Oxford University/AstraZeneca vaccine from 4 January 2021, and the Moderna vaccine from 7 April 2021. All 3 vaccines are given as 2 doses, at least 21 days apart, for a full vaccination course. How many people have had informed consent that they are the Trials for all varieties of vaccine.

Over Christmas I had an encounter with my sister who I had not seen for 2 years. She has a PhD in international politics and is generally well-read, moralistic and informed. Boy, was she ignorant about all of this. It hadn’t occurred to her in the slightest that any of this could be regarded as tyrannical. She had recently had her booster of course – the Pfizer (having chosen AZ for the first two ‘for ethical reasons 😵‍💫🤪’ she had never heard of Anthony Fauci; she laughed when I said that vaccination had been made mandatory in Austria – “Where did you read that?” she said mockingly. She hadn’t heard about any side effects whatsoever, and couldn’t see what the problem was with vaccinating young children. She thought the measures were temporary and couldn’t see what all the fuss in our household was about. It was extraordinary.
I say this because it’s worth remembering that as sceptics we have become experts and shouldn’t underestimate the abject ignorance of those who have been had. Education is key. When they attack the ‘unvaccinated’, they’re really talking about people who bother to do their own reading.

Yes, and then there was the hiring of AI experts by UKGvt to calculate mass adverse reactions many months ago. I don’t even agree with myself. Sorry.

I am not sure that is necessarily as sinister as it sounds.

If you are a Pharma company being urged to bring out a new vaccine pronto, you’re going to say ” well we can do it carefully, safely and thoroughly, and it will take time or we could do a rush job, cut a few corners, but there are risks and we don’t want to take them as we will get sued to buggery and our shareholders won’t be happy”

So the government is going to umm and ahhh – if they believe there is a deadly pandemic going around (and certainly some of them will be hypnotised into thinking there is, at least) – and a heavily hypnotised population demanding something be done – then they’ll say “don’t worry, do what you need to do, we will remove liability”

Did governments know the vaccines were going to be as awful as they are? probably not. They are idiots. And I include Vallance/Witty in that. Vallance has long track record in investing in drugs that quite evidently were not going to work, based on any objective evaluation of earlier clinical data.

Did the Pharma companies? quite possibly, but they were handed a big carrot and a get out of jail free card if all went tits up.

The people behind all this are those that prompted the mass psychosis in the first instance. A tiny tiny number, most probably. They’re the ones that need to be hunted down and exposed. And the governments very heavily interrogated as to how much they knew, and when.

I am sure you are right about this process Sophie. That being the case, then knowing the brief given to big Pharma in this case, and knowing that corners would be cut and immunity from liability would be granted, then governments have absolutely no business whatsoever in either mandating this medical treatment [they know it isn’t a vaccine] or subjecting the population to coercion via vaxx passports.

Don’t I also have the right not to be persuaded? When does persistent and energetic persuasion cross the line to coercion? At what point during the entire sorry covid narrative have both or all sides of any facet of the pandemic and its ramifications been presented without bias? The writer really ought to have given more thought to his punch line. As for Macron, his posturing on the world stage have already persuaded any right thing person about his suitability for high office. He’s toast.

That implies there are majority of ‘right thinking people’ voting in France. Firstly the percentage of voters declines year by year, secondly those that do vote contain many of his 55-80 yr old supporters. Its his to lose I’m sorry to say.

Presumably the Aussie Dictatorship will have to prove that the ‘vaccines’ work and are safe

Good luck with that one

I suspect the Oz court will default to the line that it is not their responsibility to decide on the efficacy of the injections rather it is their responsibility to determine their requirement for entry to the country. On that argument he will lose.

It is of course reasonable to expect that good lawyers can post some embarrassing facts that will gain worldwide attention even if they know they are on a lost cause. The Aussie government know this too.

I am not wholly convinced this will get in to court.

Its a terrifying road to go down. Who do we decide is making the “right” health choices. As we have discussed here before obesity costs the country enormously but as yet we haven’t shut these people out of society. Are we to say rock climbers or any extreme sports must stop because head injuries cost society? What about the children born with disabilities or the elderly with dementia? It’s an argument that I find very disturbing.

Also surely Macron and other so called leaders must be causing possible radicalisation issues in their communities as it seems proportionally more black and Asian folks are less likely to get these vaccines. Who can blame them, I have lost any trust I had in authorities and I was not outside of society until my decision not to have one of these vs.

“Macron might consider that quaint old tactic – persuasion”

The problem with that is that he would need a reasoned, evidence-based case.

The thuggery is a mark of the falsity of the case.

good point.

I am rational (PhD Physics, 30 year scientific career) – I know covid is harmless (for me) I understand stats – I know nothing of vaccine long term effects, I know it wont contribute to herd immunity, I’ve had covid (mild)

I have made a rational, evidence based decision not to be vaccinated (for this, I’ve had everything else happily).

If someone wants to make a better opposing case then I’m all ears. But it seems they can’t – proof that they can’t is their resorting to threats and abuse.

The threats and abuse ‘prove’ they don’t have a rational case and is a good reason not to have the vaccine in itself.

What we must do, I think, is to impress this point on those who are fully vaxxed. It’s imperative they understand that this policy absolutely won’t begin and end with those of us who – for whatever reason – have declined the offer to be jabbed. We need to get them on board.

One possible (likely?) consequence of all of this is that fat people, smokers, drinkers and anyone else who undertakes an activity the state declares unacceptable will be denied NHS treatment. Therefore, those people (i.e. the majority) will either have to do without or, (and this is what the agenda is, I suspect), they’ll be driven by the millions towards the warm embrace of private medical/health insurance companies. Just imagine the premiums for a trawlerman who smokes, has a penchant for pasties and donuts and is inclined to ‘celebrate’ when back on dry land! Ultimately, the NHS will be reserved for the super fit and healthy suffering from acute ailments, and will only need a fifth of what it is now in terms of size and budget.

I think unhealthy people are in the vast majority in the UK … and USA. That creates political obstacles to denying them treatment.

A survey of Americans (aged 20-100) suggested that only 20% were metabolically healthy. In the over-65s, it might be down to a few percent.I doubt that the NHS has even done a survey, it does spend a lot less money on healthcare (per person) than the US system.

I know expats in France – who I would have considered to be clued up and intelligent, who have fallen hook line and sinker for the whole thing, think Macron is doing “a great job”, would vote for him if they weren’t ex-pats and are fully jabbed up so that they can participate in normal life. They are about to get their youngest child his first jab so that he isn’t excluded from normal life also. I despair. I really do.

Italy France Germany Austria Ireland all vilifying th eunvaxxed NAZI style the UK just starting to regain some common sense by the look of it, we hope.
What do these nations have in common?
Globalist control via the EU, we know who actually runs the EU do we not, leaving was more important than even Brexiteers realised before this cynical ploy to stamp out freedom wqs started by Globalists.
Europe is descending ito Facism again.
The US is teetering on the brink with the Globalist owned Biden administration, I have a feeling they’ll fail there, there is much resistance growing.
Are we going to have to liberate Europe again?

Yes.. I was asking on this forum yesterday why the UK was out of ‘lockstep’ with our newly fascist Western partners. It’s odd. I voted for Brexit as an act of political vandalism; it might have been simply because Tony Blair didn’t want me to. I think you’re right, escaping the EU when we did may ultimately save our lives.

I wish I shared that optimism CG – I can see how it might appear for the time being that UK is out of lockstep with the rest of Europe – but at the drop of a hat that could fall away and we’d be right back into line with them. If we didn’t have the hated vaxx passports in the rest of the UK [NI/Wales/Scot] I’d feel more optimistic, but all the news coming out of those regions is bad – NHS on brink of collapse etc.

“Instead of threatening people with crass barroom talk, Macron might consider that quaint old tactic – persuasion.”

And this is from a so called sceptical site!!! why is state coercion justified anyway? the risks with the completely rigged figures are incredibly low unless you are very old, obese or have other serious health problems. Talk about keeping people in the Overton window. Flogging a dead ‘pandemic’.

The world keeps conveniently forgetting that these vaxes are experimental. You have to volunteer to take part in the experiment and agree to lose various rights for the pleasure. BUPA won’t insure you for vax injuries and your chance of compensation for vax injury is just about zero. How can anyone get so upset with someone else for deciding not to take part in an experiment? How can they then ordain that you can be discriminated against on the basis of non participation? Seems slightly creepy to me.

Being overweight, I suppose most people would look at me and think “That tubsy bloke is costing me money with his bad life choices” – I’ve joined “slimmer world” because I want to be fitter, but I could end up saving you money by not living so long if I continue to be overweight.

So my health choice is to lose weight which means I might live longer and this might cost you more money in the future if the state pension still exists by then.

If I go for a jog and end up injuring myself by falling over and breaking my leg, this too will cost you money.

Should we just get rid of “free at the point of use” because people really don’t like paying for other people?

SUGGESTED PRICE LIST

Heart Attack -> £15,000
Ambulance -> £15 per mile
Childbirth -> £10,000 – if you can’t pay, you must abort your child
Sports Injury -> £4,500 per broken bone
Vaccines -> FREE
…
Being overweight -> +25% on the above

If you can’t pay without being bankrupted -> No “NHS” Care. Automatic DNR + Liverpool “care” pathway / midazolam? (relatives to pay for the midazolam doses)

Yep. We are already sliding down the slipperiest of slopes. All the “precedents” have been established.

So what’s next? Mandatory weigh-ins for the “protection of the children?”

Somehow I don’t think Big Ag or Big Food Processing will allow this “reform,” but then again anything is now possible in our “New Normal.”

I think children in state schools already have mandatory weigh ins. A friend of mine was outraged when she was told her 5 year old was overweight (he looked normal, but admittedly did appear to be made entirely of lead, even as a baby).

Does Macron not understand the absurd logic he’s applying? If you make choices or suffer conditions that prevent you getting a ‘health’ passport, for all the medical conditions that ‘burden the health service’ such that the line is empty, (i) that includes him, and (ii) if he’s not in need, what does it matter?

Can we please stop this But the obese skateboarders getting drunk on Friday nights! argument? The people who are behind so-called public health policy would certainly absolutely love to do that as well, or rather, would love to be able to utilize the state to punish people who make other lifestyle choice than they happen to make.

Macron is a fool, a bully and a coward and the reason he wants to piss on unvaccinated French people (probably a better translation) is because he needs someone to blame for the failure of his own policies and to justify continuing with them nevertheless.

Aside: Trump aspired to be the leader of a nation. Biden in the USA or Macron in France have no such ambitions. They consider themselves leader of the ruling tribe and a terror for everyone else.

Mr. Trudeau (the Prime Minister of Canada) called people who refused to take vax extremists, racist and misogynist in September 2021 (and few times after); beating Macron by few months on showing that the vaccine intension is to create the class known in the Stalin’s and Mao’s time as “the enemies of the people”.
Vaccine is your pass out of this class.
In you die on a way out, it is a noble way to die.

The only person that should be punished is this sorry excuse for a head of state. Remember when we used to punish people for murder, terrorism, child abuse. Well that has changed folks. Now Emmanuel woukd like to start punishing people who simply declined a medical experiment with minimal if any safety or efficacy data. Yes, the new definition of “crime”.

Macron, with his election in April looming, has instigated a vindictive act solely against UK citizens by treating us all as a special case – wholly set apart from their Green, Amber Red system – and closing their border with the UK…The French Consulate’s website states that the justification for this was because the UK Government had stated that “a tidal wave” of Omicron is approaching the UK – they quoted from the UK .gov.uk webpages.

Trouble is, when I wrote last night to them, I threw it back in their faces: Worldmeter stats showed the following:

UK : new cases – 194K ( 149K )
France : new cases – 334K ( 125K)

I invited them to do the maths – I made it that France was facing a massive tsunami as their cases on that day were 170% higher: todays figures for completeness in brackets because I am not a “Whitty” type liar.

I also pointed out that Germany has removed their draconian travel rules against the UK, because they recognise Moronic is “out there”, is massively transmissable, massive infectious, and massively less morbid/lethal than any other SARS COV2 induced CV19 symptoms ( or is it the “vaccines” that are causing the wave of colds and sore throats EVERYBODY seems to be getting?)

So just as with politicians on this side of the Channel, they are all, surprise surprise, inveterate and invertebrate scumbag liars. When I have a bit more time I will post the recent , suitably redacted, email I sent to my MP, one of many , and the stomach churning self serving reply…it will surprise no one who reads these posts.
