Millions of Brits, including the over-50s, people who are vulnerable, and NHS staff, will be offered a Pfizer booster vaccine this Autumn, even if their first two doses were from a different provider. MailOnline has the story.
Extra vaccines would be rolled out in two stages – prioritising those most at risk of Covid, before the programme is extended.
While patients were initially expected to be offered the jab they were originally inoculated with, it is understood all patients will be offered the Pfizer jab as it has proven to be the most effective against the Delta variant.
The Department of Health has yet to confirm the official details of the booster scheme, plans of which were first shared by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) in June.
The JCVI is expected to issue its final advice in regards to the booster scheme in the coming months.
A senior Government source also told the Times that those who received the AstraZeneca vaccine would “be getting an mRNA booster”. …
A U.K. Government-backed study published earlier this year found that mixing and matching Covid vaccines may result in higher protection against the virus.
People who had been vaccinated with AstraZeneca’s jab initially and then received a top-up with Pfizer’s had nine times more antibodies than those who stuck to the U.K. vaccine. …
The Government said analysis has shown that the Pfizer vaccine is 96% effective against the Delta variant while the AstraZeneca vaccine is 92% effective against hospitalisation after two doses.
A study published this week also showed that a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine could offer strong protection against the Delta variant.

I read recently (within the past week) that consideration is being given to the possibility of giving both jabs at the same time, one in each arm. .2. Are these booster vaccinations going to be free? if so why? by now we should be charging for these vaccinations, double the normal prescription charge and no concessions for the elderly. He is right. You are protected if you are naturally immune. He says your immune system will recognise the variant as a relative of the original virus you encountered, like recognising a criminal again because he’s changed his haircut or put some specs on.
I’m not so sure if you have vaccine induced antibodies through. They are only produced to the S1 subunit on the spike, rather than to all the different antigens on the virus. I suppose if I were to stretch Mike Yeadon’s analogy, instead of recognising the variant because it looks a lot like the original assailant with eg a pair of glasses on….you don’t recognise the variant because rather than seeing the original, you only saw his nose or his ears and this new assailant has different nose or ears (but is carrying the same machete or whatever), and so the vaccines may not be as effective.

He was talking about natural immunity. Since these experimental death shots are experimental, we have no idea whether they will work against variants or not. I’ve stated on here that he and GVB are talking at cross-purposes and are misunderstanding each other.
We knew these were leaky vaccines so there is no reason to assume that people won’t catch the variants (remember that the Wuhan variant is now extinct). We knew there was no mechanism to stop infection via the respiratory tract and antibodies are an irrelevance in terms of how natural immunity works.
I’m pretty certain we are now seeing the first signs of ADE. What is frightening is how the government will probably respond to this. THEY caused this problem and now WE will pay for it.

There is no need for any booster jabs because there is no need for any initial jabs because there is no significant threat from any virus. Only those who are not too far from death have anything to be concerned about and vaccinating them seems pointless and a waste of tax payers’ money.

Precisely what is in the “booster”;
What ingredients registered in the patent are deemed “commercial secrets” ( graphene oxide for example) and therefore redacted;
Will the booster contain the same constituents that were known to cause clotting in the blood;
What is the content of the informed consent form which will be sent to all those agreeing to the booster.

If the Pfizer shot is so good why the significant increase in “cases” in Israel. Similarly, on the same basis, why are the Yanks now so worried about the Delta variant and why are they saying those vaxed are just as likely to get infected as those un-vaxed?
Now, let’s think about any form of safety trials. What studies have been done (in a maximum of 8 moths) to investigate the interaction between the different “vaccines”. Given that even the short to medium term effects of any of these magic potions are unknown how on earth can there be any worthwhile data on what happens when you start mixing them. As usual this is dangerous and utterly illogical.
The Vaccine scientists and the politicians are certifiably INSANE.
Not insane, just evil and now so confident that they can do what they like and get away with it that they’re not even bothering to hide any of it anymore. Their hubris will be their undoing.
The scientists know 100% what they are doing is wrong. It’s just possible the politicians somehow have such fogged up brains that they think more and more vaccinations will do more good, though I seriously doubt this is the case.

In my town they wanted to build another 60 resident dementia care home. Luckily planning permission was refused as it was to be built “in” a local park. (Long story).
I guess good for the investors as it would have stayed empty, no one needs such a care home anymore.
It is looking increasingly likely that the vaccinated will require lifelong 6 monthly boosters to avoid getting ADE effects on exposure to sars-cov-2.
They will have continued risk of vaccine side effects, however, these will probably be a lower risk than ADE.
The boosters will offer some increased protection from covid, however, not as much as offered originally (vaccine escape). It is worth noting that while there have been some developmental work on producing updated vaccines that would offer targeted protection against the newer variants, the boosters planned for this autumn appear to simply be another dose of the original vaccine — thus won’t offer additional protection against the vaccine escape that has occurred to date.
There is a question whether they’re going to be boosting in the right order — the question is whether it is more important for society to protect the young and healthy vaccinated from ADE effects, or to protect the vulnerable from covid.
I find it amazing that articles like this are still referring only to antibody mediated immunity. This isn’t of primary importance for covid; rapid recovery from covid is correlated with a strong cellular immune response, not high antibody titres. Indeed, the main correlation is that those with high antibody levels are more likely to have had severe covid — there’s increasing evidence that ‘severe covid’ is actually a form of ADE.

I feel the same way too – all my family bar me have had the jab – they are fine with my decision and I am fine with theirs. Its strange though because they have all been coming down with all kinds of weird shit lately – mild things from coughs and sore throats to bodyaches, headaches and tiredness and even two cases of chest infections one chest infection in a 25 year old male. I’m the only one not to have the jabs and so far not a thing for me (touch wood) and yet I am interacting with these people every week so if it were catching I would have caught it by now. Its probably not related at all but you can’t help but think why are these little bugs and infections happening to all the vaccinated members of the family meanwhile the only one not vaccinated (me) has not come down with anything.

Looks like we are going to have a right shit show on our hands this winter. And the government is now desperate to vax ad many as poss so these effects can be attributed to a more dangerous variant. Wonder how many people already regret getting the vax as they realise nothing much has changed for them, and therefore how many people will be keen for a booster (and surely not just the one…if you need a booster now then its only logical more will be needed…but then people are stupid so will believe what they are told if BoJo says only 1 booster…).
And then of course when wi the double jabbed people realise their vaccine passport may be good for now but will soon “expire” if they refuse their 6 monthly top up of God knows what
Glad I have held out and not been jabbed but fear for others who have been totallt coerced into taking this.

They are in jab panic doubling down and lashing out.A friend of sorts doubled jabbed and cynical started posting those I’ve had it twice,thrice on fb once I got my claws in her! But what would induce somebody to take this muck?I can only assume they are in a Hypnotic trace induced by the Winter assault of Weaponised broadcasting and Neuro Linguistic Programming.
What would induce them? They trusted the government. Why would it want to cause them harm? And the government’s use of fear as a weapon made them lose their reasoning powers. Plus any questioning was/is demonised. And there was always the incentive of being able to travel again.

Makes sense. Mixed batches produced 9x the neutralising antibodies compared to 2 x AZ alone.
The sooner we move away from using AZ completely the sooner this ends.

Yes its stopped serious illness and deaths. A good end point.
Significantly higher levels of neutralising antibodies to control case (and therefore mutation) count with Pfizer than AZ.
Also longer lasting.
This wont end until its fully endemic. That means enough people have caught it. Vaccination means that can happen without too many dying in the process.

How are you defining a ‘pandemic’?
How are you testing for numbers of infections; if by PCR test, what internationally recognised and established cycle threshold are you using?
What internationally recognised death registration process are you using; are you including deaths caused by government non pharmaceutical interventions in your mortality figures?
And how are you measuring mortality in countries with no death registration process?

Just about the only positive thing that can be said about the Pfizer vaccine is that it isn’t as bad as AZ.
Somehow they pharma companies have managed to convince the regulatory authorities that antibody response is a good proxy for actually working out whether the vaccines are efficacious at stopping infection/hospitalisation/death. I’ve no idea how they got this past the authorities, given that antibodies aren’t a particularly important factor in the (non-vulnerable person’s) immune system’s protection against upper respiratory tract infections and that the only correlate seen with the strength of antibody response is the likelihood of severe covid.
Time will tell – the Pfizer one may well have fewer short-term side effects, but the longer-term ones are still unknown, and it is the new technology so the bigger unknown.

Well, I’m not having it. I had the two jabs and that’s it. I had a bad reaction. Furthermore, the more government coerce, the more I will refuse. It’s a matter of principle. Never agree to any medical treatment under duress.
Although one of my old (but now Covidian) friends, who had AstraZeneca and spent two days in bed with a wretched fever, will be lining up for more of the same because he’s been conditioned to think that ‘Covid’ is the greatest disaster to hit the planet, ever.
Make sure they know it’s 26th on the list, if only the state put the effort in for the other 25 more dangerous things eh?

I’d like to see a controlled and impartially validated study where all the board members of the vaccine companies and their family are given the jab by a clinician selected at random, with a random syringe drawing from a randomly selected phial of their own vaccine.
Of course they would be allowed to publicly decline on any grounds except claims that they’ve already had it.
I think same should be done for the government and senior management of NHS, media, police and armed forces etc.
This will show us if they really know it’s lower risk than infection.

I was not a big fan of Mr Oliver on his telly shows but I have followed him since catching him conversing with Mike Graham on Talk Radio.

Aye, me too. Neil Oliver has been a gentle hero from the start. Made me think of my Dad, one of the few in 1940. I hoped never to face such danger, but I fear that we do now and in the months to come. Great thanks and respect to all of you fellow sane yet beleagured folk out there – we happy few. I’ve just been looking at Slovakia Covid data. Apparently Slovakia authorised the use of Ivermectin earlier in the year and although they had some supply issues early on it seems they were eventually sorted out.
Anyway, for the whole month of July, Slovakia averaged about 32 cases per day and just ONE death per day.
Less than 30% of population had been fully vaccinated by end of June (36% now). Seasonality could be a factor but it’s clear that Ivermectin is doing them no harm.
Czechia also introduced Ivermectin in March . Within a few weeks their cases and deaths had also flatlined.
Add those results to what is known from India:
” Cases in Delhi, where Ivermectin was begun on April 20, dropped from 28,395 to just 2,260 on May 22. This represents an astounding 92% drop. Likewise, cases in Uttar Pradesh have dropped from 37,944 on April 24 to 5,964 on May 22 – a decline of 84%.
Delhi and Uttar Pradesh followed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) guidance published April 20, 2021, which called for dosing of .2 mg per kg of Ivermectin per body weight for three days. This amounts to 15 mg per day for a 150-pound person or 18 mg per day for a 200-pound individual.
The other three Indian states that adopted it are all down as well. Goa is down from 4,195 to 1,647, Uttarakhand is down from 9,624 to 2,903, and Karnataka is down from 50,112 to 31,183. Goa adopted a pre-emptive policy of mass Ivermectin prevention for the entire adult population over age 18 at a dose of 12 mg daily for five days.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu announced on May 14 they were outlawing Ivermectin in favor of the politically correct Remdesivir. As a result, Tamil Nadu’s cases are up in the same time frame from April 20 to May 22 – 10,986 to 35,873 – more than a tripling.”
