Ann Widdecombe’s alleged murderer, Joshua Kerry, has been charged with preparing acts of terrorism against Nigel Farage after “intensive” police investigation. The Telegraph has more.

Joshua Kerry, 28, is accused of engaging in conduct in preparation of acts of terrorism against the Reform UK leader between May 2024 and July 2026.

The Crown Prosecution Service said Kerry would appear at Westminster magistrates’ court on Wednesday.

Kerry was charged with a single count of murder after Widdecombe was found dead at her home in Dartmoor, Devon in July.

Widdecombe, who defected to the Brexit Party in 2019 before joining Reform UK in 2023, was found dead in her bungalow in Haytor at around 11.40am on July 9th after sustaining serious injuries.

Police believe the Reform immigration and justice spokesman had been killed around 24 hours earlier.

Officers arrested Kerry, who used to work in the administration department of a lift installation and repair firm, at his home in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on the evening of July 11th.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Vicki Evans, the Senior National Coordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing, said: “We have been running a hugely intensive and complex investigation for some time.

“The charge announced today is a result of the tireless work of investigators across the Counter Terrorism Policing network.

“This investigation has been led by a dedicated team of detectives, analysts, and forensic experts, working on multiple lines of enquiry, which has resulted in this very serious charge.”

When are we to have an up-to-date pic of the commie alleged killer. Fed up up of his mug pictured with a sweetie jar with a ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ expression.

The dedicated police frequently rejected reports from Reform about threats and actual assault. They said the evidence did not meet their required standards. Now they say they had been doing deep investigation for a long time. Which is it?

The Home Office withdrew security from him and subsequently the political class made a pile-on because he was able to fund his own security from a generous gift.

You really have to conclude that Uniparty want Farage out of the way. Nigel needs to continue to be very careful.

If anything bad happens to one of Nigel’s family, will the Sunday Times and other media be charged with assisting in the crime by making public their home locations. No, thought not.
