“PayPal, You Messed With the Wrong Guy”

by Will Jones
22 September 2022 6:13 PM

Laura Dodsworth has interviewed Toby about PayPal’s shocking and “ironic” deplatforming of the Free Speech Union and the Daily Sceptic. In the introduction on her Substack page (which you can subscribe to here) she sums up what makes this latest piece of censorship from the woke tech giant so worrying.

PayPal has closed the accounts of the Free Speech Union, the Daily Sceptic and founder Toby Young’s personal account. Since all three accounts were shut at once and PayPal won’t specify exactly why it has taken this action, it would appear to be a blatant case of censorship.

This is Big Tech bowdlerisation and banditry as PayPal is also withholding Toby’s funds (which it has the right to do) while it decides whether to apply damages. Make no mistake: this is a chilling insight into a world of social credit scores and programmable currencies, where your money can be turned off at the flick of a switch if you don’t behave.

It does not bode well that the Bank of England is consulting with PayPal, among others, about how to develop a CBDC [Central Bank Digital Currency].

Here’s an excerpt from the interview.

How do you feel about it?

I’m really angry about it. How dare they? I’ve had my personal account for nine years and never heard a peep about violating its policies before now. I’ve been paying the 1.5% commission on all transactions without complaint. Where does it get the nerve? To just pull the rug out from under me, with no notice, just accused, tried and convicted all at once, with no possibility of parole. Thank God PayPal isn’t running the criminal justice system!

What are the implications for your organisations and for you personally?

I only used my personal account three or four times a year, although it has more than £600 sitting in it and I can’t get that out. PayPal reserves the right to hold on to the funds for 180 days in case it wants to extract “damages” for violating its Acceptable Use Policy. But the cancellation of the Daily Sceptic and FSU accounts is really serious. About a quarter of the Daily Sceptic’s donors were using PayPal and about a third of the FSU’s 9,500 members are using PayPal to process their recurring membership dues.

Is this an existential threat to what you are doing?

No, we’ll survive. In fact, I think we’ll come back stronger. And the FSU is going to try to get the law changed so PayPal and other financial services companies can’t deplatform other people for expressing political views they disapprove of. I feel like saying to PayPal, “You messed with the wrong guy.”

How will you mitigate the threat?

We’ve had to contact all supporters of the Daily Sceptic and the FSU using PayPal and tell them to switch to a different payment processor. But, inevitably, some of them won’t open the email, some will assume it’s a phishing scam and some just won’t bother to switch. We’ll undoubtedly lose a lot of revenue as a consequence.

What legal action can you take? What are PayPal’s contractual obligations to you?

I’m currently looking into that. More soon. But whatever happens, we’ll make a complaint to the Financial Conduct Authority.

What sort of company are you in? Who else has this happened to?

It’s happened to Us4Them, the lobby group set up by three mums to try to get schools reopened during the lockdown. The U.K. Medical Freedom Alliance and the Exposé – both have raised reservations about the mRNA vaccines, so that’s probably the reason they’ve been deplatformed – and, in the U.S., Colin Wright, a gender critical evolutionary biologist, and a couple of Left-wing sites that oppose the war in Ukraine, Consortium News and Mint Press. But I’m sure there are many others. In February, PayPal announced it had closed 4.5 million accounts.

Laura provides a helpful list of possible actions for those who’ve had enough of “censorship, deplatforming and the erosion of liberty”. They include:

  • Become a member of the Free Speech Union.
  • Complain to PayPal about this transparently political act of censorship.
  • Write to your MP if you have concerns about censorship, deplatforming and the financial punishment of these websites. As the Bank of England and Treasury investigate the development of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) it’s vital that people’s financial security is protected. Not only do individuals and businesses need protection now from companies like PayPal, but they will need it even more so in an increasingly cashless society. It does not bode well that the Bank of England is consulting with PayPal, among others, about how to develop a CBDC.
  • Share the #BoycotPayPal hashtag on Twitter.
  • Share this article and spread the word.

Worth reading in full (of course).

Stop Press: Toby points out that he has expunged all traces of PayPal from both the Daily Sceptic and the Free Speech Union. So if you’re a donor to the first or a member of the second, there’s no need to change anything unless PayPal was processing your payments. He has already emailed all those affected by the PayPal account closures telling them what they need to do. If you haven’t heard from him, there’s no need to do anything.

That’s two manufacturers making public statements that dial down the threat. Could it be they know the game is up? Are they trying to back away from the lunatic politics that surround their products? Are they clearing the way for Pandemic B? Am I reading too much into this? Do I need to find something else to read about? 🤔

Haven’t those involved in the Great Barrington Declaration been saying this all along?
They know most of those willing to take the kill shot have done so by now. Time to ease it back and put their resources into the next crock of shit!

This wrapped in the usual envelope of Well, eventually, we will have to admit that THE BUBONIC PLAGUE MARK II was more something like bird flu mark I but surely not yet! Corona on folks, the sky is the limit!

Imagine the shock and disbelief that all the conspiracy theorists will experience when the pandemic is politically declared as done within a year or so from now and all the remaining measures are removed.

It’s going to be kind of like “the world has not ended!?” experience for an apocalyptic sect. Experience tells that the members will still find one way or another to explain to themselves they were right all along. Most probably it will be a “not yet, but it’s sure coming soon” type of justification.

However, what will remain is the debt to be paid off over the next decades. Unless that gets cancelled too – it’s currently owned by the central banks. The main problem with abolishing it is the risk of inflation.

Yes, that sucks, but it also happens without a pandemic. And remember that for our sect members the predicted “world end” scenario does NOT include dying alone from a transmissible disease.

Dying in droves due to deliberate starvation and dehydration, followed by being given a massive dose of Midazolam, is more akin to ‘mass murder’ than ‘dying alone’ from a disease that they probably didn’t even have.

Believe me I want the conspiracy to end now. But somehow it doesn’t. Where will we really be in a year? Police state, lying governments, coercive passports, endless propaganda and censorship? Of course the best way to end this from the gov’s point of view is to declare in over while gaslighting us that nothing was awry (and keeping all power gains and controls of course). Let’s see. Perhaps millions just had a very long bad dream…

The “conspiracy theorists” (your smear term, shows you think your argument is weak) have been more right than wrong so far. I’ve always thought the actions of governments and others were bad but more opportunist than following some plan, by the way, so I’m probably not one of the “conspiracy theorists” you’re referring to, FWIW.

I’d love the whole thing to be forgotten within a year and to be proved wrong, but it seems implausible to me for many reasons. They need to cover their arses forever, so they will never admit they were wrong. Too many people are up to their necks in it. There is a huge coronamadness industry now that is a powerful lobby that needs feeding. And quite simply covid gives a level of power and control that is hard to beat. There have been many chances to declare it over, none have been taken. Vaxxing kids is just evil madness and completely not needed even for political purposes. They even overrode the JCVI.

So I think you’re wrong. In any case, it’s not the people quoted in this article who will decide it’s over.

Sorry, but choosing to post what you did just looks like cheap trolling to me. I think you can do better than that.

You mean the ‘pandemic’ that never existed in the first place in real terms – refusing to reach epidemic levels even at its worst?

No theory needed – it’s simply a scam, however you cut the explanation, and leaves us with two destroyed years of normal life, increased mortality from associated policies, a destruction of medical ethics, a return of totalitarianism across Europe, and a legacy of neglect and induced psychopathy.

What more do you want, Polyanna?

I sincerely hope you are correct.

But I believe it was, is and will be, all about digital “passports” for control purposes, – carbon credits, restrictions on movements, money and control.

There’s no way governments will let go of this – and all done by creating/manipulating fear under the threat of a “new” virus that they knew was too good to miss.

Provided the unclean are left relatively unmolested it would be interesting to see how our group fare health wise as against the jabbed.
But, if one knows anything at all about how big pharma operate control groups, dream on.

I recommend everyone has a look at vaccinePapers.org
It may be an eye opener for some.

Covid is not over until testing for international travel has been got rid of. Start there and we’ll see how we go.
And bring back all those who have commited suicide due to the lockdowns, fear, and quarantines. If you can’t do that, then it is not ‘over’.

“On arrival to New Zealand they completed the mandatory MIQ period.”

Driven mad by quarantine.

Cancellation of the debt would be the biggest admission of Government wrongdoing so I think it is never going to happen however laudable in concept.

It would have to be a worldwide coordinated action , all done at “H” hour though the problem of markets opening and closing at different times is a hurdle. It will cause some market mayhem, possibly even worse than that; key problem is who the hell do you trust to “get it right”….dont see a queue of candidates stepping forward?

It took a decade of austerity to save £30billion – remember that, after 2008? We blew that in April 2020, swiftly followed by 10x that over the next 12 months. Get your head out of your arse if you think over £330billion+ is ever getting paid back without a great-reset-asset-pensions-savings-raid. Hold on…

Ever wondered why interest rates have declined to practically zero without any serious questions from MSM? Ever wondered why they haven’t been raised in recent times?

Had a look at Kate’s links to those doctors, microbiologists and pathologists’ questions as to what is actually currently running through your veins?

We haven’t even reached the end of part 1.

“We tend to see slow genetic drift of the virus and there will be gradual immunity developing in the population as there is to all the other seasonal coronaviruses. There are four of them and they’ve been circulating for decades and we’re not even aware of them.

“So we already live with four different human coronaviruses that we don’t really ever think about very much and eventually SARS-CoV-2 will become one of those.”

Of course, in those cases we didn’t put huge selective pressure on them by mass use of a quasi-vaccine, nor did we change the selection pressures by mass use of a leaky “vaccine”.

If this one goes radically differently, and radically worse, from the previous ones, we know who to blame. If it doesn’t, we should still blame them for gratuitously taking the risk with the health of the entire human race.

Except that we did, with the flu vaccine, for something like 15 years, but unfortunately, no killer flu has wiped Vanden Bossche off the planet yet, and except that selection pressure is a nonsense term worthy of the people who invented deadly mutation and cruel virus.

A bit of evolution 101: Everything reproducing with the help of the normal, cell reproduction mechanism is prone to random mutations. Should such a random mutation result in a reproductional advantage, the mutated new organism (viruses aren’t organsisms) will eventually out-reproduce the original organism. Nothing in here responds in some directed way to pressure. The circumstances are what they happen to be. And if a random mutation happens to be advantageous, then …

Not to mention that natural immunity to all other respiratory infections is leaky as well: People get colds (and flu) but really bad colds (or really bad flu) are fairly rare. Despite this has been ongoing for some tenthousands of years, we’re still waiting for the killer cold (or killer flu) wiping Vanden Bossche off the planet.

NB: I’m tired of doomsday cultists baselessly exaggerating everyday occurences, regardless of the camp they claim to be in.

There’s a difference between people who don’t want to get vaccinated (for whatever reasons) and the people (again underfoot in the vicinity) who keep claiming that this world will surely come to a dreadful end unless (COVID) vaccination is immediately halted.

The utterings of the latter then end up featuring as mad conspiracy theories in parliamentary debates about petitions against mandatory vaccination. Hence, such petitions will be discarded.

But that’s surely just coinicidence and not a conspiracy to further mandatory vaccination.

If it’s going to be worth addressing your other points, it seems we need to first deal with the false equivalence that you and rayc are labouring under.

Fearmongering in order to spread panic and allow “emergency” measures to be introduced, that would not be accepted otherwise, is in no sense equivalent to or comparable to pointing out dangers (even likely very low probability high consequence dangers) that as far as we know are potentially attendant on pursuing those emergency measures implemented under false pretences.

I didn’t write anything about that. Just about another terminological abomination which (as far as I remember) even originated in the COVID-camp people (claiming to be) opposed to that then appropriated for their preferred stories as well. Plus some more general remarks about a specific It’s going to kill us all!!1 theory which is – at best – unhelpful.

Selection pressure implies that doing X puts a virus under pressure to come up with a workaround for X. That’s nonsense because viruses aren’t capable of conscious actions, not even at the level of animals. All they do is replicate mechanically (maybe biochemically would be a better term for that). This replication process is prone to reconstruction errors. Certain reconstruction errors might enable a virus to replicate more efficiently when X is being done. But doing X doesn’t affect the probability of occurence of such a reconstruction error.

Further, people are known to get colds and pass these on to others before their immune system eliminates the viruses causing them which usually happens after they developed relatively mild symptoms. That’s the exact equivalent of the leaky vaccine scenario. Mankind didn’t get wiped off this planet by The Killer Cold[tm] in the 3-and-something million years of its existence. Hence, why would this happen now?

“I didn’t write anything about that. “

That’s how I interpreted:

“NB: I’m tired of doomsday cultists baselessly exaggerating everyday occurences, regardless of the camp they claim to be in.”

Granted, possibly influenced by rayc’s chipping in with one of his “Mr Hyde” personality comments.

Selection pressure is a longstanding term of art used in discussing evolutionary genetics. It does not imply any choice or conscious action on behalf of the entity concerned, particularly because where it is often used is in discussion of gene selection, and genes are no more conscious than viruses.

The “pressure” in question is a statistical phenomenon. When you change the environment, you potentially change the selection pressures, by definition.

And your dismissal of the danger of “leaky vaccines” fails on two counts. First, just because the process doesn’t take effect in one particular scenario doesn’t mean it won’t occur in any, and given the whole reason we know about it is because we think it has occurred in at least a couple of scenarios, the danger can’t be dismissed and should have ruled out mass “vaccination” for covid, given the benefits are trivial to nonexistent, in societal terms.

Second, you can say that colds and natural immunity is a form of “leaky vaccine” scenario, but given our limited understanding of the mechanisms you certainly can’t say it’s the exact equivalent of any other leaky vaccine” scenario. It’s just one more scenario in which the worst case did not arise. Certainly using brand new gene therapy methods to create a never before existing method of stimulating the immune system can hardly be assumed to operate just like anything natural.

Selection pressure is a longstanding term of art used in discussing evolutionary genetics.

And cruel virus (or – even more idiotically – cruel exponential growth) are both staples of pro-corona-measures propaganda. But habitual misuse of a term isn’t anything but misuse. Selection pressure doesn’t exist because external environmental conditions (eg, existence of antibodies somewhere in the bloodstream) have no causal relation to specific mutations. Is a statistical phenomenon is identical to it doesn’t exist: On its own, math is no different from poetry.

I’m intetionally ignoring the two paragraph ad ignorantiam.

“Cruel virus” is just an intentionally propagandist absurdity. “Selection pressure” is neither, it is as I noted a term of art in regular use, and provided it is properly used (as I used it above) there is no problem with it.

“Selection pressure doesn’t exist because external environmental conditions (eg, existence of antibodies somewhere in the bloodstream) have no causal relation to specific mutations. Is a statistical phenomenon is identical to it doesn’t exist: On its own, math is no different from poetry.”

This is just wrong. Pressure is an analogy taken from physics, and selection merely refers to it affecting the process of evolution in a consistent direction.

The causal element is on the direction of evolution (consequent on selective outcome differences), not, as you assume here, on the mutations themselves.

Wind is also a statistical phenomenon, the net resultant of lots of random movements emphasizing a particular direction because of features of the environment. These phenomena have real world effects.

As for asserting ad ignorantium in a situation of risk and limited knowledge, well I shouldn’t need to explain why that’s inappropriate.

No such thing as random. There is a reason for everything.

Virologists/immunologists must try harder. And that’s without even mentioning computer codes/models/predictions.

Why not try evidence based medicine for a change, or even better try and understand how every element of the immune system works ie its synergy, before blundering about with gene therapies.

You haven’t got a bloody clue about the long term effects of mrna “vaccines”.

I believe this is why the ‘lab leak’ theory is gaining traction in the mainstream media now. Dangerous new variants that upend the expected norms of virulency over time, can be blamed on the Gain of Function attributes added in the lab.
The science will always be one step behind the lie.

“today’s reality” – is the pushing of an unnecessary and inadequately tested experimental cytotoxic drug of dubious efficacy (measured ARR ~1%) and unprecedented levels of short-term harms. No medium to long-term harm assessment exists.

That is the simple reality – aka the facts. I’m not sure why you are so keen on denying that reality.

Dame Gilbert is of course able to profit off of further illness (she’s a great woman from all my friends in virology say). So, if she wanted to, she could dial it up. But she’s speaking as a scientist (as she has been speaking a lot lately, not that Boris and Whitty listen).

The way it was explained to me is the spike protein only has so many alterations it can make and still be capable of cell entry. It’s like being told to make sentences only with the first ten letters of the alphabet. You can make a fair number but then you have to resort to nonsense and that creates useless change. Same with the virus. It has been steadily becoming less deadly (IFR is down to .009), and while it may continue to try and be more transmissible, there are limits (often at the expense of lethality).

So again, why jab kids? Why keep emergency rules in place? Why pretend some fabric across your face that leaks like a sieve can save you? Learning to live with viruses and death is what is needed. Work hard to heal the sick and avoid death (from this and all viruses), but life needs to enter the future, just as they did towards the end of 1920.

For anyone who hasn’t seen this yet, another clear presentation from Sebastian Rushworth. He explains how the pressure from mass vaccination will likely continue driving variants which will be vaccine resistant.

I hope she understands Covid-19 deaths shouldn’t be spiking during summer months. Especially for some reason, now with younger age groups…

Does the Dame think it may have something to do with the AstraZeneca vaccine? And hasn’t Bill Gates’ kids been vaccinated? Could she ask for me?

I would like to encourage everyone to look at this link, to the conference with Viviane Fisher from the Corona Committee.
https://odysee.com/@en:a5/PK_Tot-durch-Impfung_english:a
from 1.19
It is long, and has a difficult translation to follow which has put many people off, I am sure. However it needs publicising and sharing as it is a game-changer.

This is a special conference led by Vivaine Fisher from the Corona Committee.
It goes into proper medical detail on what is in these “vaccines” There are slides which show metallic objects moving in the “vaccines” It suggests to me that the “mad” theories about transhumanism could have merit, as some of these objects are clearly engineered nanobot type objects.
The part on the vaccine contents starts at about 1.19.
There is a good presentation from a German surgeon who is working with a group of international doctors to investigate and publicise this.
Much of the conference is hard to follow because of the translation, which is hurried out, due to the importance and urgency of getting this information out as soon as possible, given the need to protect children from being experimented on with these deadly injections.
Please share and publicise.
Things could change quickly. There is clear evidence now that these so-called vaccines are adulterated with nanoparticles of a very strange and malign nature.
The film and slides make this evident.
No politician or security operative watching this thread who wants to escape from this catastrophe with any credibility can remain taking orders from these genocidal maniacs who want to shove this stuff into us and our children.
The narrative cannot continue much longer. The Telegraph editors had better decide what side of history they want to be on.
Seriously things have reached a crisis point. With the evidence in front of us of clear criminal intent there is no way anyone can now allow the vax deployment to children.
There is film from a surgeon who is part of a medical team investigating this. There are strange mechanised shapes that look like little aeroplanes or engines moving independently about in the vaccines. There are what look like graphene oxide strands.
The medical team also used controls in the form of conventional vaccines. No normal vaccine contains these synthetic objects. The reflective and synthetic ingredients are there for some other purpose and must come from military technology.
This is no “vaccine” against a pathogen, but an attempt to inject some kind of tracking device or God knows what into people on the pretext of a health emergency.
Anyone who complies with those carrying out this criminal conspiracy from now on is complicit in a crime against humanity.
Once the public wake up to what has been attempted here the consequences for all involved will be terrible.

Science Direct:
Why are we vaccinating children against COVID-19?

“Thus, our extremely conservative estimate for risk-benefit ratio is about 5/1. In plain English, people in the 65+ demographic are five times as likely to die from the inoculation as from COVID-19 under the most favorable assumptions! This demographic is the most vulnerable to adverse effects from COVID-19. As the age demographics go below about 35 years old, the chances of death from COVID-19 become very small, and when they go below 18, become negligible.” – This document slipped under the radar!

The Testimonies Project was created to provide a platform for all those who were affected after getting the covid-19 vaccines, and to make sure their voices are heard, since they are not heard in the Israeli media.

So, goodbye ‘Covid’. Hello bigger, badder, nastier, more-infectious-than-evaaah virus that escaped from a lab in North Korea.
More lockdowns to keep everybody safe, and the struggle to find another ‘vaccine’. It may take several months, but we’ll beat this yet!
Watch out! Run away! It’s behind you!!
