The Green Party is considering official policy to strip police of Tasers and pepper spray. The Times has the story:
A motion drawn up by the party’s Crime and Justice Working Group also proposes scrapping Prevent, the Government’s counterterrorism programme. It calls for the end of police presence in schools and to move money away from police and prisons and would make it official party policy to aim for the “closure of all prisons through systemic obsolescence”. …

The Greens’ policy proposal, put forward by the internal group, says the party should pledge to “withdraw lethal tools and tactics, e.g. tasers, pepper spray” from police.
Police officers routinely carry Pava spray – known as pepper spray – as standard personal protective equipment. Only specially trained officers can carry Tasers, although their use is increasing. They are used by authorised frontline response or specialist firearms officers.
The policy document says the Greens should reduce reliance on police “with the aim of eliminating this reliance”. It calls for the party to adopt a position that would move money and investment away from “policing, prisons and surveillance”.
It calls for the scrapping of policy programmes that target specific communities and “over-police marginalised communities”, citing Prevent as an example of those it would axe. The counterterrorism programme is the Government’s main scheme to detect and intervene against individuals at risk of becoming radicalised. …
The motion calls for protest-related laws to be repealed, and amnesties to be issued to all those convicted of such offences, such as the decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist group.
The document says teen offenders should avoid prosecution altogether by raising the age of criminal responsibility to 14 and creating a presumption against prosecution for 14 to 18-year-olds unless there is a compelling public safety reason.

I thought these loons might get some representation in parliament but they seem keen on losing the five seats they have – good!
Perhaps these proposals are an admission that crime in their no-borders Britain would be so out of control that the police and prison service wouldn’t be able to cope with it anyway, no matter how much funding they received?
Here’s a thought experiment… If Zack Polanski (born David Paulden) was being assaulted by a crowd of angry political opponents would he still want the police trying to rescue him to have no tasers and no pepper spray?

Why do the do-gooders in society never think the baddies will come for them? When the time comes, the likes of Mr Polanski will be front of the queue, and won’t understand why there’s a distinct lack of interest in helping him out. Oh well, you live and learn, as they say.
You misunderstand the objectives of the left which is to break down society so they can take control. There may still be a small number of naive Green Party supporters who think “environment” means green and cuddly things (whereas it means de-industrialisation) and who want everything to be kind and cuddly (whereas in fact the left are vicious, nasty and highly focussed on destruction).
Throughout history the political Left always destroys.
If they are in power, they bankrupt the country, if the are in opposition they always resort to violence (direct and indirect). It doesn’t help that the vast majority of lefties aren’t too bright either. Everything is a binary decision, that’s why the youth are attracted to them.
I mostly certainly do understand. And I also believe that when the idiotic Fabians/Marxists etc do finally ruin this great country, they won’t be the ones in control. And those in control certainly won’t be taking any advice from a gay Jewish chap.
