A small boat migrant found guilty of gang raping a vulnerable woman on a beach had already been convicted of murder and should never have been allowed into the UK. The Mail has more.
Violent thug Karin Al-Danasurt should never have been allowed into the UK to lodge an asylum claim after crossing the Channel in 2024.
It is believed the Egyptian national duped immigration officials by giving a false name.
A year later, Al-Danasurt and fellow asylum seekers Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, also from Egypt, and Abdulla Ahmadi, 26, from Iran, lured a heavily intoxicated young woman to a secluded part of Brighton beach and subjected her to a brutal ordeal.
But it can now be revealed he fled Egypt in 2022, having been convicted of murder and facing a “lengthy sentence”, and spent two years living as a fugitive in Europe before making his way to the UK.
Prosecutors told magistrates at a previous hearing that an intelligence report based on documents found in Al-Danasurt’s room suggested the 20 year-old was sentenced in his absence after he failed to surrender to Egyptian police.
Foreign criminals are routinely refused entry to the UK, meaning Al-Danasurt should never have been in the UK to rape his victim, who cannot be identified.
The Government has now vowed to deport Al-Danasurt and his two accomplices, also small boat migrants.
But the case yet again exposes the fragility of the UK’s borders, with Al-Danasurt among the plethora of small boat migrants thought to have slipped into the country under an alias.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch said: “There are people who are taking our country for a ride, are coming here trying to claim asylum, which is for genuine refugees, when really they come here to do harm to others.
“This is why it’s really important that we solve this small boats crisis, that’s why I’ve changed the Conservative Party policy.
“As a woman in particular, I do worry so much about a lot of men coming here with attitudes that are backwards and medieval and thinking that they can do whatever they like.
“We need to be very tough on them.”
Robert Jenrick, the former Tory immigration minister until 2023, who now represents Reform, said: “These evil men should never have been in our country.
“I couldn’t care less if they have a hard time back in Egypt, they should be deported so they never step foot in this country again.
“The small boat crisis is a national security emergency. Murderers, spies and gangsters are crossing with impunity and it’s destroying lives.
“Only a Reform UK Government led by Nigel Farage has the backbone to leave the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights) and fix this daily disaster.”
Chris Philp, the Shadow Home Secretary, said: “Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are flooding into the UK each year by small boat and we have no idea who they are or what their history is.
“The majority are young men and many have committed rape, sexual assault and even murder – with some sexual assault victims girls as young as just 12 years old.
“We must completely stop illegal immigrants from entering the UK.
“The only way to do this is the Conservative plan to leave the ECHR and deport all illegal immigrants within a week of arrival. But Labour is too weak to do that.” …
All three were failed asylum seekers, with Al-Danasurt and Ahmadi having their applications rejected before the attack, and Alshafe’s application being turned down the weekend of the rape. It is understood they have each lodged an appeal against the decision.

Last night GB News reported on the country house hotel in which they were accommodated, complete with spa pool and every luxury. And so on ad nauseum. Today the BBC is running a main feature on Trump’s cruel treatment of illegal immigrants and I can’t find this item anywhere. The BBC is a national disgrace.

Claiming that migrants have real names is racist because it implies that only designations they haven’t chosen themselves can be proper.
Why aren’t these men executed on conviction? Do that reliably for a couple months the problem would solve itself.
Of course, having first been sentenced by an Egyptian court, he will be returned there to serve that sentence concurrently with the one for the rape, and his right to remain here will be removed.
