Last Sunday Twitter permanently banned Politics For All, the popular news aggregator, along with its sister accounts News For All and Football For All. These accounts were set up by 19 year-old Spectator journalist Nick Moar and together they had over three-quarters of a million followers. At a stroke, Twitter destroyed all Nick’s hard work – and it did it without a word of warning. If he was in breach of any Twitter rules, this was the first he’d heard about it. He had received no ‘first strikes’, no notice of any kind. He wasn’t being sent to Twitter jail. He was being given the equivalent of a lethal injection.
Nick asked Twitter why it had done this and three days later he received an email saying it was due to “multiple or severe violations” of its platform manipulation rules. These rules, published in September 2020, prohibit using Twitter “in a manner intended to artificially amplify or suppress information” as well as “behaviour that manipulates or disrupts people’s experience”.
Nick was mystified by this and the email didn’t say which particular platform manipulation rule he’d violated. The only one he could think of was the following:
engaging (retweets, likes, mentions, Twitter poll votes) repeatedly with the same tweets or accounts from multiple accounts that you operate.
Politics For All had retweeted and liked tweets posted by News For All – and vice versa – but that isn’t an example of “manipulation” so much as straightforward promotion. And virtually all big media companies do it every day. Why had Nick’s three fledgling accounts been singled out for termination?

Steve Bartlett, another young media entrepreneur, speculated in a Twitter thread that it was because Nick’s coverage of British politics had started to annoy the wrong people. “Whether you like Politics For All or not, they generated over a billion impressions on tweets that were critical of the current government and the recent Christmas party scandal,” he wrote. Bartlett also pointed out that a big media company had recently offered to buy Politics For All for a seven-figure sum and Nick had turned it down because he didn’t want to compromise his account’s independence. A few days later, Twitter shut it down.
This is an egregious breach of Nick Moar’s free speech rights, as well as those of the 750,000 people who followed Nick’s three accounts. If we stand by and do nothing, Twitter will have carte blanche to delete other political accounts, or, indeed, the account of anyone who says the ‘wrong’ thing about powerful political figures. If you’re in the habit of sharing your political opinions on Twitter – or even retweeting other people’s – you could be next.
I urge you to sign this petition and let Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal know that this form of censorship is not okay. When YouTube suspended TalkRADIO and Novara Media, the resulting public outcry forced the social media platform to reinstate them. If enough people sign this petition, my hope is that Twitter will do the same for Politics For All, News For All and Football For All.
Sign the petition here.

Why do you think Jack Dorsey quit? Or was he removed? Anyone else notice the number of people suspended from tweeter since jack’s departure. Worse than the number of people trying to leave the state of Florida during hurricane season. It has been a major clear out. But tweeter followers have also flown the coop. So who is left? A bunch of 18 year old censors, and some little kids who like to retweet each other😂😂😂😂😂. Enjoy kiddies.
Total waste of time. The only question is why those individuals and interest groups “at risk” of censorship are not already mirroring their voices on alternative social media such as Telegram, Gab, Signal, Rumble, Odysee, Gettr etc. Surely the Daily Sceptic among others should be transitioning their audience to the alternative outlets. It makes zero sense to take these censors head on given they are selling public opinion “shaping”. Robert Malone had 500 million followers on Twitter before they pulled the plug. If he had time to prepare he could have transitioned them to Gettr. Rogan got ahead and made his move. Take away the followers and Twitter and Facebook what have they left? A campaign to encourage those at risk of censorship to move their audience to alternative outlets would send a message. It would get ahead of the divide and conquer tactics https://nakedemperor.substack.com/p/twitter-police-censoring-a-member

How many times does it have to be said. ‘Twitter ‘is’ over’ for Conservative minded commentators or anyone who Challenges the Covid Great Reset agenda or in the UK the threatening hysterics of the Johnson Cabal – when will people stop complaining about being “banned” by these extreme Marxist Globalists – who even boasted about the part they played in ensuring Biden’s ‘magic’ ‘election victory” and stop funding their suppressive, enslaving exploitative enterprise? What do they expect- “Twitter” is now all about censorship!
These jumped up Tech Giants see themselves as ‘Stakeholders’ in the New Order Stakeholder Capitalism – in other words ‘delegated’ rulers of the World and judges of all permitted “opinion” (ie a repressive lefty monotone).
So just ban Twitter and stop being so surprised that it is a Fascist/Marxist /Globalist operation run by freaks you would not give house room to.
As was said many years ago “Twitter is for Twa *s”
The same goes for Zuckerberg’s “Facebook ” or whatever stupid Globalist name he has now dreamed up for his spite driven human exploitation machine!

The would-be totalitarians – Big Brother if you will – MUST control the narrative so they must be firm allies with their “partners” who disseminate news or content. The government and their oligarch partners in the media or speech world support and help one another. All entities who are on board with the program benefit (Who benefits?) Those who are not on board with the program/agenda will be targeted for elimination (and will not benefit). And, yes, you can also “follow the money” as those “on board” get to make the most money.
Basically, the Powers that Be that are doing all they can to prevent persuasive or compelling news or commentary that might challenge or change “the narrative” from “going viral.” Anything that does “go viral” is reaching a LOT of people and is thus a threat to their agenda. In a nutshell, their “community standards” were created to not let persuasive speech “go viral.”

This might be a policy of the new Twitter management, which is apparently even more dismissive of free speech and the 1st amendment. It’s only 6 weeks since the last CEO resigned.
LBC has recently sacked Maajid Nawaz, or at least not renewed his contract.
The Ministry of Truth speaks …
Anyone who is still on Twitter, send him a message of good wishes. I hope he goes to a free speech platform, like Alex Berenson did.
Says it all that they keep Odious O’Brian , still, their loss
O’Brien is a vile specimen. I don’t know how he sleeps.
Let Twitter know that its actions are “not OK” by never using its shitty brain-rotting services again, and by ridiculing all who use them.
The Government will be ‘forced’ to take action against their willing collaborators and will use it as an excuse to tax tweets/e-mails and YouTube and Facebook postings. My prediction for the next 12-18months – you will be paying a subscription for these services, in effect you will be taxed for your communications.
Parag Agrawal did an interview with a M.I.T. technology review in 2020 in which he was asked about free speech and, from the U.S. perspective, the First Amendment. This is what he said:
Our rule is not to be bound by the First Amendment but our role is to serve a healthier public conversation and our moves are reflective of things that we believe lead to a healthier public conversation.
The kinds of things that we do to work about this is to focus less on thinking about free speech but thinking about how the times have changed.
One of the changes today that we see is, speech is easy on the internet. Most people can speak. Well, our rule is particularly [to] emphasize is, who can be heard.
So they are asking to be regulated as a publisher not a platform….
They are tyrannous scum. Rather than people continually complaining about their blatant suppression of conservatives, common sense, and free speech generally, why don’t they just leave and join Gettr? It’s a load of wank anyway. I’m not even old and have never had an account on there or read it. Short-form shite for people who don’t do paragraphs.
The internet in general needs to go at this point. Sure, I’d miss agreeing with you critical-thinking reprobates, but I could do without all of it.
A little off topic, but in-line with censoring the shit myself; Has anyone got a ‘dumb’ phone? I use maps a lot, but I could honestly do without everything else, and it’s a pain in the arse to go through uninstalling things. Even worse when you need to jump through many technical hoops to do anything else.
Although…How will the government implement a GoodCitizenID app on a dumb phone?…
By excluding anyone who doesn’t have a suitable phone from society.
I use the old NOKIA 1114, it doesn’t even have a camera! Does what I want though, used in conjunction with one of these lanyards if necessary (kept in back pocket if going somewhere that might get a bit arsey. Simply use the test code after a positive test and date (7 days later) if you’ve survived. Bingo, you’ve got proof you are naturally immune. No need to invoke the Government’s stealth tracker app. It won’t work on my phone anyway. Luvvit! Tyrants get all confused when presented with it.
But if the Internet disappeared, then the MSM would once again be the only source that got to comment to large numbers of people.
The “groupthink” at BBC, The New York Times, your local newspapers and broadcasters is virtually 100 percent. There would be no way to present alternative or dissenting news. At least now, some truth slips through the cracks.

Sorry that one kick from Twitter destroyed Nick’s sand castle – but whut tha eff did he expect? He’d be the one the crocodiles didn’t eat?
I was banned from Twitter for saying Greta should be sent to bed with no tea and a smacked bum. Never had a warning from them ever and ban was permanent. The wankers won’t even let me delete the account.
Yes, there is something wrong when you are banned for nothing more than offering friendly and concerned advice.
Hardly saying the bitch should be strung up with piano wire and burnt.
Now why hasn’t this message got any downticks when my much milder one has?
I think I’m being trolled. Over the target then.
What do you expect from the guys who boasted about helping Biden into Office?
While we’re at it maybe we could petition LinkedIn to reinstate Dr Robert Malone’s recently deleted account.
We’ve all been presented with the bill, after eating the “free” lunch.
Free speach includes the right to offend.
“I disagree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it”. Voltaire.
All decent people just need to leave Twitter. They banned Trump, they banned me, they ban everyone who dissents. Why stick with them?
I was also banned. Might give Trump’s new platform a go (and so will all the lefty tosspots as they won’t be able to resist trying to sabotage it)
Disgusting. I hope that Alex berenson case does some damage to Twitter. They either need to be impartial or get shut down.
It’s a tough one this, when we start relying on “free” services that in reality are anything but. I don’t think there is a short term solution. What I do hope for, is what you see in some of the TV drama series, where the world is owned by some evil IT corp, and libertarian anarchist righteous geeks bring it down by hacking the evil corp’s systems. At the end of the day, modern centralisation, monopoly power, totalitarianism, however you want to call it, these are dependent on IT, and IT is vulnerable.
So if Twitter starts to piss off enough people, there will be some clever kids out there who will break it.
That’s my prayer for today.
You need to join the dots.
Just this week culture minister Nadine Dorris said that Government ‘counter-disinformation’ agents where engaging with content providers to take down content they didn’t like.
This group has no accountability, no transparency and no scrutiny. Were they responsible? From the statement made by the minister it is certainly plausible.
govt are also cofunding that wretched “center for countering digital hate”, another gagging ngo, they pay them to produce reports saying what they can censor – classic carousel propaganda. Government, opposition, media, soros, UN, it all goes around and around – they all agree that we must shut the fuck up and do as we are told.
Waste of time.
Twitter, like Google, FaceBook etc now have more power than government. The only solution is to leave, cancel your account and get onto GETTR, Telegram and Rumble.
I did this 12 months ago and now enjoy complete freedom of speech and access to honest, factual news sources who don’t harvest my personal information.
I’d say that nobody – or no company – has more power than government. Governments have the force of law – and the militaries or police – the people that can arrest and fine you.
I think the reason Google and Facebook and Twitter are lining up with government is they know they HAVE to do this to continue to operate, and, yes, prosper.
Think the link to the petition in the article is here: https://www.change.org/p/reinstate-politics-for-all-on-twitter
As for social media I don’t do it. I used to be on Twitter but I posted a link to a few clips of that BBC drama about George Orwell and some presentations about Mass Psychosis around June last year which upset my followers. I ended up calling them idiots and leaving so I think I burned my bridges there. Mabye making “zines” would be fun.
I’ve beaten Twitter censorship already, now I’m happily sitting back and watching the platform die with a massive smile on my face. Their stock chart is my one daily pleasure.
The only way is to STOP using them. that is he only message they hear. There are more and more alternatives coming along. Start preparing by using them less and tryig other things. Is FB and WA and Twitter really so important in your day? why?
And I agree, building a business that is 100% dependent on another infrastructure is pretty crazy – especially if that infrastructure is going to ‘notice’ you
Like the Internet?
