Hospital Appointments in Glasgow Being Cancelled to Reduce Road Traffic during COP26

by Michael Curzon
23 October 2021 2:40 PM

Hundreds of patients in Glasgow are having face-to-face hospital appointments cancelled or rescheduled ahead of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) which begins next week in the hope that this will help to clear up the roads. The Herald has the story.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said it would be increasing the number of virtual consultations and moving some face-to-face consultations to different times of the day in order to accommodate a “temporary increase in population” in the city over the two-week climate summit.

Patients began receiving letters over the past week notifying them of changes to their appointments.

It comes amid warnings that the event itself could trigger a fresh spike in Covid cases, piling preassure on an already overstretched NHS.

Health cheifs at neighbouring NHS Lanarkshire – where the majority of non-urgent elective surgeries have been paused since August – have now escalated its risk status to ‘Black’ and confirmed that a number of cancer procedures will be postponed. These will be rescheduled “as soon as possible”, they said.

One Glasgow patient with long Covid symptoms, who is due to see several specialists, told the Herald their face-to-face appointments had been changed suddenly to telephone consultations after months of waiting. …

[They said] that it was ironic patients were being switched to phone and video appointments to free up roads for climate deligates flying into Scotland who “really should have held their meetings virtually”.

Worth reading in full.

The Mayor of London made Zil lanes for the Olympic Committee elites in 2012 causing mayhem for the rest of the populace. I can’t quite remember who the Mayor was.

if anyone can prove someone died as a result of this, johnson should be charged with at least manslaughter.

At minimum. What’s more important, the health of our suffering people or a talking shop for smug and privileged climate change activists that could be easily done online?

Johnson’s decisions on Covid, have already cost many tens of thousands of lives, but the smug fat boy is still waddling around scot free.

  1. The offence would be committed in Scotland, where this is a devolved matter, the responsibility of the Scottish government.
  2. There is no offence of ‘manslaughter’ in Scots law, the corresponding offence is ‘culpable homicide’.
  3. The Scottish government has (effectively) always had strict control over prosecutions in Scotland, and private prosecutions are very, very rare.
  4. I would say that for Mr Johnson, the matter would be ‘aiding and abetting’ by facilitating the conference.

Its about priorities – there is important climate emergency virtue signalling to be done by the elites – besides the plebs are used to having hospital appointments cancelled and waiting months/years for medical care

If the climate religion is more important than peoples health then does that not tell you something about the covid religion? (ie it was never about health).

In the old days you’d have used a photocopier and then faxed the image. Technology has improved though, maybe one of those virtual reality gloves. Hmmm, better have a discussion with my Dominatrix, I’ve been suffering withdrawal symptoms …..

I hope COP26 is a dismal failure, furthermore I hope the weather is freezing cold with no wind causing no wind power and an energy crisis in the UK at the same time.

What a colossal waste of time and money the whole thing is. There is no climate emergency and the whole thing is following exactly the same model as the pandemic response – because it’s being run by the same globalists.

don’t worry, the lights wont go of at COP26, they’ll just divert the hospital electricity supply to the conference – its all about priorities

…and they can burn the corpses of those who don’t get their treatment in time and subsequently die, to create free energy.

I believe it has been done in the past.

I read somewhere that they’ve had to get loads of diesel generators to charge their electric cars up! Honestly, you couldn’t make it up.

NHS appointments cancelled to make way for traffic from COP26.

How does this protect the NHS? It’s stores up even more delays and tragedy.

Oh I forgot, the little people don’t matter.

The un vaccinated are being laid off in Care Homes in UK next month. I’m losing 3 good members of staff as it’s now Law. How do you fight that? Hands totally tied

https://twitter.com/sjdhatters/status/1451856785338421252

And THIS is what will cause the NHS to become overwhelmed, not Covid patients.

Bed blocking by those who cannot be transferred to care homes because of the shortage of staff caused by vaccine mandates has been totally unplanned for by a shortsighted authoritarian government.

it’s not ‘law’. Law is our ancient and inviolable Natural Law and Common Law. Decrees issued by politicians, and statutes enacted by parliament, are not Law.

So after all the pain we have gone through to “save the NHS” the wicked sods are shutting it down so they can drive their cars without hindrance. I wonder if they are all virtuous electric models…

Whatever your feelings about climate change, holding this now, with Covid, the rise of online meetings, and a global energy crunch, it’s just dumb to meet in person. Although hard to hard offline personal talks you wouldn’t want public without meeting in person, and that is the real reason for the useless gathering.

For the people of Glasgow, my sympathies. Not just for Cop 26 delays but your poorly run NHS. But if you don’t want to hold your government responsible (at elections), I have to say this is your own mess. I’m sure the higher-ups figure another couple of days or weeks with that painful hip is worth the sacrifice to hold this meeting.

Wait a second; they just want it to appear more eco-friendly, don’t they? That’s what the CCP does when they host big events, ban cars to make it all look pretty and clean. Wow, just wow. Copying a tyrannical regime, can’t imagine it. I mean, who would follow the plans of the CCP that don’t actually change things overall just make the poor and ordinary suffer. Glad I’ve never had a government do that to me…oh, oh d@mn,,,

An estimated 25,000 people will be involved in COP26, and guess what most of them will be flying in, staying in luxury, using gas-guzzling cars, clearing roads, denying locals heath treatment, costing taxpayers millions, emptying power stations etc…

Will they be subject to all the hassle we ordinary people have to put up with, of course, they won’t. Welcome to the PRGB.

The ones that were preaching climate change to the plebs at the recent Earthshot. One rule for us and another for them.. Hypocrites…
