The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet decided whether to authorise the emergency use of the Pfizer Covid vaccine in children aged five-11, but reports suggest the Biden Government is already quietly telling states to prepare to begin jab roll-outs for this age group as early as next month. Recently, Pfizer submitted an application [to] the FDA to expand emergency use of its Covid vaccine to include kids between ages five and 11.
An unnamed White House official told NBC News that the Federal Government has been telling state governors that it anticipates the authorisation will come in the next few weeks, as soon as early November.
What’s more, an official in the Department of Health and Human Services told the news outlet that [the] Biden administration has already purchased 65 million pediatric doses of Pfizer’s vaccine.
That’s more than the two doses needed to fully vaccinate the 29 million children in the U.S. who would now become eligible.
According to clinicaltrials.gov, Pfizer’s study in younger children worked similarly to the way it did in older children and adults. …

Because of this low risk of severe illness, polls have shown that many parents are not inclined to vaccinate their children.
A July 2021 survey, conducted by CS Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health at Michigan Medicine last month, found that 39% of parents said their children [had] already gotten a coronavirus shot.
However, 40% of parents also said it was “unlikely” that their children would be getting vaccinated.

Really? The consensus prior to all of this seems to have been that naturally-acquired immunity to influenza is broad and long-lasting (see this, for example). This is just more speculative hysteria.

I am getting so angry with this now. Just who in their right mind thought that flu disappeared last year? Only a complete moron would believe that. It is obvious that Covid-19 figures were inflated by flu cases. The PCR test is unable to distinguish between the two. And now because many were tricked into an unlawful house arrest and self-induced social isolation, natural immunity has reduced. Which of course the experimental gene therapy has reduced even further.

The PCR test only detects corona. If you have both flu and corona at the same time, it will report corona, ignore the flu.

Can anybody seriously believe that that chart is correct? Flu viruses used to peak quite hugely on an annual cycle but suddenly last year because there was another virus in town flu just didn’t bother??
It has to be either last year’s flu was misreported as covid or ‘flu’ is such a generic term for viral respiratory diseases that all previous peaks could have include covid-type virii but no-one really noticed.

Apparently when the HK flu emerged in 1968 it caused all other flu strains to effectively disappear the following year. But they came back again two or three years later.
So a novel and more contagious respiratory virus elbowing all other respiratory viruses aside for a period isn’t unprecedented.
But the suspicion that flu was always there but no-one found cases because everyone was focused on TeH Coronavirus – or that many cases of “COVID” in the winter just gone were actually flu but were misdiagnosed for political reasons, remains valid…
One explanation I came across – not sure how well established but it was presented as plausible – was then getting infected causes the body to produce Interferon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interferon which signals cells to heighten their anti-viral defenses. When a particular infection becomes overwhelmingly prevalent as has Sars-Cov-2 (not saying it is a really bad virus, just that it is all pervasive) then most people encounter it, the side effect of the Interferon is that they are then less susceptible to other infections.
Add the misidentification of all and any infections as Covid19 (as realarthurdent notes) the effect could well be to make the other infection – influenza in this case – to seemingly disappear.
I’d also note that this time last year there was a big influenza vaccine push, because of the huge wave of influenza which would occur (yeh, sure). No doubt that would be hailed as a success, but I suspect it had bugger all to do with it.
Or did the flu vaccine push give rise to cases of ADE which were misdiagnosed as Covid?

You also need to consider that flu vaccines, thanks to the failed swine flu “pandemic”, turned out as a marketing flop and would have been a hard sell. So the pharma bosses needed a “brand novel virus” to make the prospect of life-long vaccination appear attractive to their terrified buyers once again.

But the flu vaccine has never been particularly effective, partly because every year the vaccine developers need to have a guess on which flu strains are likely to be active in the coming winter. This year this is even more likely to be a problem since, in the apparent absence of any flu at all last winter, how on earth will they know which strains are going to come surging back?
I also wonder whether the resurgence of the flu will be used as another “Project Fear” to push the COVID vax to 5-12 year olds when they are given their flu vax in early December.
And finally, not that I’m suggesting that our government or health authorities are evil or wish elderly people harm, obviously, this would be a good narrative to explain away the wholesale deaths of many elderly this winter in care homes and hospitals and blame it on something other than the true cause.

Models work beautifully, especially when there is no data to check them and you are having a one-off situation that has never happened before. Under those circumstances if you are not satisfied with the model’s prediction, you can always pile up more models, call it ensemble modelling to sound more scientific.
They said covid was much more dangerous than flu and flu deaths, even in a bad year, could never reach the levels of covid deaths. But now they are predicting 60,000 deaths this winter from flu!

If public health really was the objective, they’d be focusing on diet, exercise and vitamin and mineral supplements. But they don’t give a toss about public health. Just today there was an article how some “African doctors” have developed the first-in-the-world malaria vaccine “after 50 years of research”. It also contained passages how “the vaccine does not really work, so all other malaria counter-measures are still required”. But still a “great success”.
I recall a study concerning flu vaccines that while they reduce the incidence of the particular variants somewhat, there is no evidence for reduction of the rate of respiratory infections overall. So basically, choose your vaccine, then get sick from something else.
European countries with the highest Flu vax rates have the highest CFR re SARS.
Does the vax adversely affect the immune systems ability to otherwise deal with SARS – or does it keep them alive to make future low hanging fruit? Or both?

This lot are spinning the narrative to fit the agenda. The vaccines have destroyed immune systems. They know many will die this winter, but better to put the deaths down to flu than have the new ‘vaccines’ look ineffective.

He is bound to say that restrictions stopped flu last year.
This must be based on a claim though that flu is less infectious than Covid. It would be good to know how this has been deduced. It sounds like circular reasoning to me. “We had Covid last year but no flu, so flu must be less infectious because our restrictions stopped it.”
He clearly does not want to consider other hypotheses such as the Wallis Hope-Simpson view that there is a dominant respiratory virus each year that somehow outcompetes all the others, which then effectively go away. Covid simply was the dominant one in 2020.
Such hypotheses (and others) are no less evidenced by “science” than the conjecture that flows from his lips.
The 15-60k range also looks like the normal flu season we get every year. Just as with Covid, the flu takes away many frail, older people who are nearly at the end of life. The vaccines are not 100% effective either and in the past there was lots of medical debate as to whether they should even be recommended.
Ultimately, our so called leaders are intoxicated on creating fear and then on feeling good about themselves by thinking they have the solutions to that fear. But in reality they are drunk on power.
This is a human society that objectively has less to be afraid of than any other in human history, with roughly double the life expectancy of only a century or so ago. However, it wants to find things to be scared of.

Sorry, you can’t have it both ways. The lockdown cannot prevent flu and be useless against corona and vice versa. The lockdown and masks did nothing to anyone’s immunity. Possibly the increased prevalence of corona infections provided some kind of cross-immunity against the flu. Or as may be, most of the flu cases have been simply mislabeled (people getting infected with both flu and corona, and every case being attributed to corona – because everyone tested for corona and nobody tested for flu)

This new vaccine, according to reports I have read, has not been tested quite so thouroughly as previous flu vaccines and the effectiveness is said to be below 50%. There is also the question of interaction with CV antibodies or indeed the Covid vaccine itself.
And my suspicions are further aroused by the new “scare Britain” advertising campaign that is just starting, straight out of the Covid playbook.

They have been diagnosing flu as covid for almost 2 years, now they are going to bring back the flu to conceal the death and sickness caused by the jabs destroying people’s immune systems.
1. Flu didn’t go away last winter: the manipulative b’s just called it Covid.(See PHE Newsletter October 2020).
2. Project Fear is now going full throttle to convince the weak-minded that another lockdown will be “prudent” and in their best interests.
3. Since when has naturally acquired immunity only been very short term?
It’s almost magical the way there was no ‘flu last winter. Nothing whatsoever to do with the Government deciding to identify all respiratory illnesses as “Covid” to bump up the figures and generate fear.

Even the sheeple got a little fed up with it last year and it waned as the weeks went by.
I was glad it ended as I got fed-up with playing my audio mix of short bursts of clapping, interspersed with bleating sheep and seals barking, out of the front window.

Right. That 60,000 – that’d be part of the ‘normal annual wastage’ of 600,000 from ”all causes”, wouldn’t it?
All testing was for Covid not flu. Hospitals & Doctors ordered to attribute all to Covid. It does not mean there was no flu. Also the PCR did not differentiate between the Flu and Covid.
