Yesterday evening, Rishi Sunak emerged from Downing Street around 5:45pm to give a special speech, ostensibly on the dangers of Islamic extremism.
Better late than never, some might say.
Yet it turned out to be just another infuriating indictment of the utterly failed project known as the Conservative Party.
Sunak’s speech amounted to a cowardly, anti-conservative, arguably anti-white celebration of hyper-liberalism.
Empathy was extended, perfectly reasonably, to “Jewish children” and “Muslim women”, but there was no mention of the longstanding suffering of the average Brit.
Nothing about the wider context of attacks like Manchester Arena, or even Sir David Amess. Yet the prime minister was happy to expand the scope of his speech when, for example, taking a bizarre pop at the irrelevant Nick Griffin, who had praised George Galloway on X.
With embarrassing transparency, each time Sunak mentioned Islamic extremism he coupled it with the (largely imaginary) threat of the ‘far right’, for instance stating that: “Islamist extremists and far right groups are spreading a poison…that poison is extremism” (an oddly tautologous line that could have benefitted from a rewrite).
He also made a point of saying: “I stand here as our country’s first non-white prime minister, leading the most diverse government in our country’s history”, an emphasis that went beyond the liberal and veered into pure woke territory.
The PM was attempting to sell us on the colour-blind dream of liberalism, yet all he did was sell us out, with his clear implication that “non-white” and “diverse” are values in and of themselves. A truly colour-bind speech would have simply eschewed these woke (and, yes, anti-white) virtue baubles.
There was also anti-conservative sentiment in his downplaying of religious traditions and rejection of the Scrutonian primacy of place, as Sunak claimed that it is not “the God you believe in, or where you were born that will determine your success”, citing instead the industrious anywhere man, presumably a managerial manlet in an undersized suit.
The Christian church was praised, but only for its political liberalism, as Britain’s multi-faith society was said to be “all underpinned by the tolerance of our established Christian church”. The image of the Christian church as some kind of bloated bureaucracy—there solely to uphold every faith but its own—is bizarre and disturbing, yet sadly not inaccurate.
All in all, it was a horrible speech that demonstrated everything wrong with the Conservative Party.
Clearly, the chaos of the recent protests and intimidation of MPs had to be addressed. Yet Sunak could only do it by pandering to the worldview that has created these problems in the first place, whilst invoking standard liberal and even leftist scapegoats due to his fear of focusing plainly on the real issue.
You can watch the whole speech here.

If only Sunak had been Chancellor and then Prime Minister and he could have solved these problem for us!
Time to call the GE you washed up man before you waste even more of our millions on your overseas flag waving vanity projects.
Ostensibly smart but useless as a PM and certainly not a Conservative. I hope Braverman comes to the fore once the Conservative Party is in Opposition after the forthcoming election.
Braverman as saviour of the Conservative Party.
Rule No 1,2 and 3. The person climbing the greasy pole to No 10 is never, ever, the same person once they achieve that office.
Only the total electoral destruction of the Conservative Party can now save conservatism.
Nothing but an empty sack of skin and bones. I couldn’t tell you what even one of these marionettes actually believes.
Telling people what you believe is dangerous, for the proles might disagree with you.
We may not know what they believe we just know they don’t like us. They are sure they can find a better people with which to replace us.
Liberalism in the 20s….blowing up power stations that work replacing with windmills that dont, having totally open borders then calling anyone who grumbles a nazi, locking up populations then thrusting mrna jabs in them and finally overthrowing foreign governments via organised coups then fighting stupid proxy wars. All this is done with lbgt branding just to rubs Christians noses in it, I hate Britain now and all it presently stands for under this ruling elite.
Well said. ‘Liberalism’, or as Jonah Goldberg wrote circa 2007, Liberal Fascism.
wow——-Say what you man why don’t you?…..Great comment.
And that’s why I left! The place is doomed
It occurs to me that laws were passed years ago to store all our e-mail and social media comms, ostensibly to prevent terrorism rather than to spy on us. In the US, Tucker Carlson has demonstrated that the surveillance is (despite Snowden) even closer than that despite VPNs and all the rest.
So if all these MPS are getting death threats, presumably by e-mail rather than by newsprint stuck on paper, it is absolutely possible to match the headers to the stored detail and nab the Islamists (and the Far Right Extremists, if they find any!) and bang them up.
But instead, a few million more quid are spent on undefined measures to keep the terrorists free but away from MPs. Something does not compute if the aim is to deal with extremism.
DEI has been a spectacular failure in every single institution it has infiltrated: the government; the NHS; the Police; the British Army; Border Force; the CoE; the National Trust; the corporate sector; the aviation industry and ACT; the entertainment industry; etc etc
So why TF is Fishy championing it? What an awful government we have. We get the government we deserve, so I’m afraid to say, Britain and British culture deserves to go extinct.
No, we don’t deserve it at all, since our votes have been completely overwhelmed by the Outrageous Commonwealth Voting Rights in British elections. No other country allows non-citizens to vote in elections. It is just a stealth attempt at founding a Global Totalitarian State.
All part of the globalist agenda.
The PM is just a puppet.
All elected establishment party governments take their orders from elsewhere. They have for 50 years, since the 1972 European Communities Act, been taking their orders from unelected bodies, corporations, foundations and powerful rich individuals.
Anyone voting for any establishment party clearly does not understand the depth of corruption at the heart of government. A vote for any establishment party is a vote for the continuation of corruption.
Compare the Prime Minister standing at his lectern with Galloway making a speech.
People with the skills in oratory such as Galloway possesses are rare. You may disagree with everything they say, but they speak with conviction, and not with the evasiveness and shiftiness of Westminster party politicians.
Solely considering the skills of public speaking, it becomes a pleasure to hear them deployed. Peter Tatchell is another such rarity. Unlike Preacher Sunak at his lectern, Tatchell is still the Sunday school teacher evangelising a gospel with conviction and intellectual honesty (and with the bravery of the diminutive Apostle Paul in the face of physical danger).
Galloway was endorsed by the voters of Rochdale, not by a former leader of some grouplet. Once again the voters of Rochdale voted ‘wrongly’, as with Brexit.
Your summation of the Church of England is perfect.
Some good points there. But, Galloway, is seems has much to owe to the postal vote of which their is some degree of suspicion of how postal votes were collected.
5mins of Peter Whittle talking complete sense, including what’s coming down the line if/when Labour get in and how Islam is the real threat, none of this ‘far-right’ made-up bollocks;
https://twitter.com/prwhittle/status/1763661278571004240
It’s when not if, and regarding islam it’s unlikely the genie can be put back in the bottle. Once Islam reaches critical mass in the UK a civil war like that in Lebanon will ensue, no country bumps up with Islam and has a happy outcome.
I know. They’re playing the long game, but so long as immigration from majority Muslim nations continues unabated ( and it will because people have been harping on about this for years ) and this exceeds the amount of deportations ( which it does, easily ) then the future does indeed look bleak for natives. Especially given the fact TPTB demonstrably hate us. Another couple of comments lifted from Twitter re Sushi’s lame-arsed speech that I agree with here;
”What democracy? Call me ‘far-right’ all you like, but a state that continues to import new immigrant voters not only without the consent of British voters, but in clear defiance of their wishes as expressed consistently at the ballot box, has ceased to be democratic.” Harrison Pitt
”This is worthless BS. Which ‘far right’ groups are you referring to @RishiSunak
?
We’ve lived with the Islamist threat for 20 years now. We know what the major threat is.
Blame for the danger this country now faces lies squarely with the political class from which you spring.” Peter Whittle
Muslims don’t like being in the minority, and once their numbers get up to 30% and 40% of the population we will see where all those “Peaceful Muslims” loyalties lie.
Yup. One for the Islamists and Useful Idiots this weekend, who are *definitely NOT* all about the Jew-hate. I think this amount of logic might explode their brains if they were to mull it over;
https://twitter.com/ImtiazMadmood/status/1763534865989861440
I watched the Queens funeral and the Kings Coronation on TV. One thing I noticed immediately was the distinct lack of “diversity” on the streets. -Normally if a TV crew films for a news article in a street somewhere in the UK you will see all the visibly Muslim people. You see all the headscarves etc etc. But at those events I really struggled to find any. There may have been a few but to mind they were mostly conspicuous by their absence. If you can find old footage of those events have a look for yourself.
“You can watch the whole speech here.”
Sorry, I need to hang the washing out.
Certainly a much better use of one’s time.
What about environmental extremism? Examples of this regularly disrupt large parts of the country.
Sunak’s own home was the target of one such group, yet it does not figure in his concept of extremism. These extremists are generally to the far left and pale skinned and want to disrupt the very fabric of Britain, and yet he is not prepared to condemn them for their desires to change the face of the country.
Yes eco terrorism is for sure an increasingly serious problem, largely because Government does not want to clamp down on those useful idiots batting for the same team as them. So they let the brainwashed dreamers do their dirty work for them of cajoling and harassing the public into losing the prosperity that coal oil and gas has given them. Which is what this climate nonsense is really about. It is Marxism with climate as the excuse. —-So these are two major threats to freedom and prosperity. Islamic and Environmental extremism with neither being dealt with and nothing but hand wringing from our parasite politicians.
He’s not a Prime Minister I recognise ! A Placeman pure & simple !
Where is this far right extremism? I’ve yet to see any, unless he’s talking about the Islamists twice?
Nick Griffin and Tommy Robinson seem to make up the massed forces of this, and require massive aggressive and provocative policing wherever they appear, presumably to amplify their effect in the minds of the public. Their use in this context is quite cynical.
I can help with definitions.
‘White Nationalist’ = English person.
‘Far right’ = Any White Nationalist who objects to their country’s history, heritage, society being flushed down a toilet.
‘Extreme far right’. See. ‘Far right’, but prepared to say it out loud.
The threat in the UK is much smaller than from Islamic fundamentalism but it exists. There is much more right wing extremist violence abroad, particularly in the USA, and the concern is that it may spread here.
https://www.protectuk.police.uk/threat-risk/threat-analysis/threat-extreme-right-wing-terrorism
Good, get it here quickly!
You want right extremist violence?
I want my race, country, culture and civilisation to survive- sadly too few feel the same or are awake enough to realise what will happen
That’s already here!
Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists seem to be Muslim!
The Founding Fathers included the right to bear arms in the US Bill of Rights expressly to provide for the people a way to defend themselves against the potential tyranny of the federal government. How wise they were, and how foolish we have become, drugged and bribed with material wealth and distractions.
I think mass civil disobedience is a better option but if that doesn’t work or my fellow citizens can’t be bothered then as a last resort I will use violence to defend myself and my family. The state has a virtual monopoly on force but that can and will be abused. Resisting is a moral imperative.
I fear sexually frustrated men in their mid-thirties living with their mothers who commit “Let’s take it out on them!” extended suicides and are known to have had internet access are of little practical use to anyone. Except extreme right wing terrorism hunters who use them to justify their own existence.
Family men but there’s not enough !
Ok, you’re quoting the police as an authoritative source. I believe evidence not propaganda. How many people have white British terrorists killed? The “war on terror” is yet another invention of the state to keep us controlled.
The idea that a few “right wing” “extremists” in the US pose an existential threat to the US is preposterous. The major threat to democracy in very rich world “liberal” “democracy” has been the state, and their global puppet masters. Sam Melia, jailed for saying out loud what millions think.
We’re more or less a quarter of the way through the 21st century. How many ‘far-right’ murders or other atrocities have there been in the UK so far this century? How many from the far-left? How many Islamist murders? How big is the overlap? Last century the greatest threat was from Irish nationalists and Northern Irish Unionists. Would Irish Nationalist or Unionist murderers be considered far-left or far-right?
I do not have the answers to these questions – but answers would tell us who we should be most concerned about.
I may be biased and I’m prepared to be corrected but out of my clippings archive I can think of:
7 July 2005: 52 murdered in Islamist bomb attacks
22 May 2013: Murder of Lee Rigby by 2 Islamist terrorists
16 June 2016: Murder of Jo Cox MP by white nationalist terrorist
22 May 2017: 22 murdered in Islamist bomb attack
3 June 2017: 8 people murdered in Islamist London bridge van attack
19 June 2017: 1 murdered in far-right terrorist van attack
29 June 2019: 2 murdered in Islamist stabbing near London bridge
20 June 2020: 3 murdered in Islamist stabbing in Reading
15 October 2021: Murder of David Amess MP by Islamist
I’m sure there’s more that I’ve missed but I think the greatest threat is not from the far-right but from Islamist terrorists.
That’s terrorism though.
I mean any sort of right wing movement considered even remotely destructive when compared to that of left wing movements. We’ve seen riots, online takeovers, destruction of values and democracy(lol) all perpetrated by the left..
And yet “right wing extremism” is the one to watch out for…
As everyone else here says, and as I suspected, he’s just using it as a catch all slur for people who are resisting the lefts takeover of absolutely fucking everything.
I accept that Muslim fundamentalism (which is most certainly not left-wing!) has been a far greater source of violence in this country than right-wing extremism. I was just pointing out there is such a thing as right-wing violent extremism here and it is quite significant in other countries. What was most disturbing was Dinger64’s comment which suggested he/she would welcome more right wing violence from abroad – a comment which has had 8 upvotes so far.
Yeah DS is a hotbed of terrorists.
Its a bullshit definition trying to create a bogeyman out of normal citizens who want to live their lives in peaceful and safe society, without the government breathing down their neck, or emptying their pockets.
The fact that ‘incels’, young men who have difficulty forming relationships with women, were considered ‘terrorist threat No1.’ at one point (maybe still are), tells you all you need to know about our ‘anti-terror services’. I think I’d rather get my threat risk analysis from The Beano, thanks.
Are you saying there is no such thing as right-wing extremism? Remember Timothy McVeigh? Or just none in the UK (except perhaps Darren Osborne)?
(To hammer home a point – I am not denying the Muslim fundamentalist threat is much greater – so there is little point in responding with a list of their atrocities)
I think in a very tenuous ‘maybe’, and an American who bombed something in America in the 1990’s, you have summed up the horrifying toll of the extreme right wing in the last 30 years.
Except that the people who are being characterised now as ‘far-right’ are not extremists, and not far right. To the right of the left perhaps, but not really ‘right wing’.
I gave McVeigh as an example because that was the second biggest terrorist incident in the USA after 9/11. There have been plenty of right wing violence since then. This article provides some examples. Outside of the USA I think of Anders Behring Breivik in Norway – 77 dead.
Ah yes, but the curious thing about Breivik, for all his supposed raving against Islam, is that he decided to massacre 77 INDIGENOUS NORWEGIAN TEENAGERS, thereby stopping them from having children themselves, and helping the Globalists decimate the white population. Just like Globalists Putin & his secret pal Zelensky have been doing:
“There were 315,000 dead and injured Russian military personnel as a result of the war – nearly 90 per cent of the pre-war 360,000 soldiers.” Ninety percent, for Pete’s sake!!!!
In contrast, not a single hair on a Muslim’s head was harmed by the Globalist Fraud Breivik.
“Right wing” extremists tend to come from the original population though. They are not normally people we have imported to the west. Plus their actions are usually based on what they see the “migrants” doing. If we did not have Islamic extremism and the blatant sweeping under the carpet of the misogyny that these people bring here with their disgusting treatment of women where eg in Sweeden 20 times more rapes and sexual offences are committed by “migrants” than by indigenous Swedes then “Right Wing” extremists might not have that much to be extreme about. ——–Your tactic is typical of the leftist that seeks to deflect from the huge problem of Islamic extremism by saying “Oh look we have some terrorists as well”
eg in Sweden 20 times more rapes and sexual offences are committed by “migrants” than by indigenous Swedes
Have you got a reference for that? The closest I could find was this which suggested that foreigners were overrepresented among rapists by 2.5 times but also rightly discusses the difficulties in interpreting these figures.
Your tactic is typical of the leftist that seeks to deflect from the huge problem of Islamic extremism by saying “Oh look we have some terrorists as well”
I repeat what I wrote above (for the second time).
I accept that Muslim fundamentalism (which is most certainly not left-wing!) has been a far greater source of violence in this country than right-wing extremism. I was just pointing out there is such a thing as right-wing violent extremism here and it is quite significant in other countries
USA – millions of illegals pouring over the border, Democrat federal government not enforcing the law, drugs, guns, gangs, litter louts pouring in, most crime committed by non whites, US is a country of immigrants but not all human capital is equal (yeah I’m a horrid racist), but the descendants of the stock that made the USA the place everyone is desperate to get to are the problem. McVeigh was evil but he was right about the Feds.
Let’s play with this a litte. First, who are extreme right-wing terrorists:
Those engaged in this activity do not represent a cohesive body, rather a fragmented movement made up of groups and individuals with a range of ideologies.
Ie, they’re isolated male lunatics, IOW, extreme right-wing terrorism doesn’t exist as such, it’s just interpeted into suitable events by people who really want it to exist.
How are they characterized?
Cultural Nationalism is a belief that ‘Western Culture’ is under threat from mass migration into Europe and from a lack of integration by certain ethnic and cultural groups.
Ie, they share a definition of multi-culturalism with the political establishment but are opposed to it.
White Nationalism is a belief that mass migration from the ‘non-white’ world, and demographic change, poses an existential threat to the ‘White Race’ and ‘Western Culture’.
That’s the same statement again.
White Supremacism is a belief that the ‘White Race’ has certain inalienable physical and mental characteristics that makes it superior (with some variation) to other races.
— while the ‘proper’ belief is obviously that the ‘white race’ has certain inalienable physical and mental characteristics that makes it inferior to other races —
Moving from there, we’re informed that five extreme right-wing terroris groups have been prohibited on the UK since 2016. They were prohibited because of
Clearly, we all need to be quaking in our boots because of the horrible danger from extreme right-wing terrorism.
Good comment
The subtext is very clear: anyone who challenges (us or our policies) the plan is an extremist.
I am an important man in a suit who has been schooled to sound sincere and honest and so you had better believe me. So take your medicine, get out of your cars, welcome all and sundry from abroad, get rid of your wood burners, stop eating meat, stop having an opinion, stop farming, stop using cash, stop resisting, and shut up and stop living.
Yes the ‘everday man’ in his £5000 custom tailored suit….the billionaire pretending to care about anything. He is a clown and Pharma-ment nothing more than a whorehouse.
I suppose a vintage Norman Wisdom suit could be 5k nowadays
Ferd, you are nothing but refreshing!
No, a whorehouse is honest about what it’s there for.
Eh yes in a nutshell.
Exactly.
Glad you are back Aethelred.
Superb comment.
Was the Prime Minister implying that the moderation and tolerance of the religion of the Church of England supplies a necessary quality that other religions lack?
This quality of the religion of the Church of England is a product of place and shared history.
Does it not matter what the character of the God is that is worshipped? A God who takes human form as a servant serving men and women is very different and would shape different habits in a worshipper to a God who is a remote autocrat, without counsellor, companion or son, whose only satisfaction is making his creatures feel his power.
Dead Man Walking. ——But it isn’t just him ofcourse. The whole of Parliament and our Institutions have capitulated to extremists for fear of being labelled racist or climate deniers or some other absurdity. ——-Extremists only understand one thing —POWER. Otherwise they see you for what you really are. A weak hand wringing coward and waste of space.
“All in all, it was a horrible speech that demonstrated everything wrong with the Conservative Party.”
Bang on.
But to be fair, he managed not to say that “Diversity is our strength and the UK was built by immigrants.” Forsyth, or whoever wrote the bollocks, obviously realised that that would be going a bit too far.
https://m.facebook.com/reel/3719740418271307/
And this bitch really wants to rub British noses in her shyte.
Excellent article by Nick Dixon. One point was absolutely crucial for everyone in the world to understand:
Sunak’s “clear implication that ‘non-white’ and ‘diverse’ are values in and of themselves.” They are not, never were and never will be. But we and our children are being brainwashed into feebly accepting them as values in and of themselves. That alien concept is what must be resisted, denounced, overturned and thrown out of the West, along with the alien concept of “hate speech”.
Another vital point was this:
“The image of the Christian church as some kind of bloated bureaucracy—there solely to uphold every faith but its own—is bizarre and disturbing, yet sadly not inaccurate.”
I must take issue with a third point, though: “the irrelevant Nick Griffin” and his misguided support for George Galloway.
Nick Griffin is not “irrelevant”. He is a hero just like Tommy Robinson, and Griffin was sounding the alarm about Muslim Rape Gangs long before Tommy.
Not understanding Griffin’s support for Marxist convert to Islam Galloway, I looked up Galloway’s “Workers Party of Britain” website for their precise views on Third World immigration, and found this:
Question: “Surely as Internationalists you favour Open Borders?”
Answer: “In theory and in the better world we wish to create, of course, we want Open Borders, but we do not live in a socialist world but in a capitalist one….We want to put migration back into the hands of the people, a people that is, in fact, open-hearted and tolerant to its core.”
It’s the same with Communists everywhere, deceiving the working class into thinking the Communists are on their side, when the Communists, like the CofE as Nick Dixon says, are upholding the rights of every worker in the world except their own national workers.
“Far Right” is code for White people who challenge the corrupt, debauched, evil Government.
The Daily Sceptic generates a summary of Conservative Party statements, so we don’t have to.
They already do this with BBC output.
Yes, wouldn’t it have been nice if the pm come out to apologise to ALL those injured and to families of those who, died from the unsafe, ineffective and dangerous covid vaccines which his gov’t continues to dole out! But no, what he had to say was just a bunch of dribble from a puppet. A sad day for this country.
So, Sunak thinks that Galloway’s election via a democratic process is a threat to democracy! You mean they didn’t vote the way they should have so now they’re going to destroy him. We see the games you’re playing Sunak…..
