Writing for the Daily Sceptic this week, Nick Rendell questioned whether the Tories should attempt to accommodate people such as the Telegraph’s Tim Stanley.
It was Stanley, you may recall, who launched an impassioned, if fanciful, defence of Net Zero in the Telegraph’s pages a couple of weeks ago.

The Right needs to emulate this approach. Currently we appear to be offering just the political equivalent of the Magnum Classic: out of the ECHR, out of Net Zero, out of the EU and illegal migrants out of here!
In my social circle we have EU ‘rejoiners’. Others who are first and second generation migrants. Mixed-race friends who instinctively fear overly heavy migration control. There are public sector employees, gays and members of a variety of minority groups. However, they all tend to share a common concern over taxation, growing state authoritarianism and the fear that their children are getting a less good inheritance than they enjoyed. Economically they tend to be either small or large ‘c’ conservatives – let’s not push them away in the pursuit

That is why in spite of Kemi talking a good line she cannot be trusted, as long as they cater for this “broadchurch” they will never be able to confront the problems that beset the UK with anything like a workable solution, instead we will be inflicted with the same as the current Labour Party.
Plus I was starting to like Kemi, but this business about working with Labour to prevent Reform winning any future bielection, just proves that they are a Uniparty who just play pass the parcel with Number 10, they essentially think the same, have the same solutions (not), and the similar approach that the UK is finished and they are just there to manages decline.
A vote for the Conservatives is a vote to repeat everything since Blair.
A vote for the Tories could end up being a vote for a Liebour, Limp Dim, Green, Stupid Numpty Party coalition of clowns/federation of f**kwits as could a vote for Restore. The only way to try and sort out the mess this country is in is for everyone with traditional conservative/right of centre views to vote Reform.
I would like to just vote for honest people who keep their word. Sorry don’t trust Farage as he is the Grand Ol Duke of York, can just imagine him announcing another pact with the Tories going into the election or even if he goes full throttle and gains power Reform rows back on some of the more recent announcements. Still might vote for them as the other parties are even worse and Restore just hasn’t got the support.
As clearly laid out above. Cameron, Treason, Blonde Buffoon and not forgetting the spineless ‘no fracking’ Sunak worshipped Net Zero. The Tories had 14 years to put forward scientifically considered policies that would benefit the country, however they repeatedly chose not to. Instead, the lure of virtue signalling was too great.They utterly failed the UK population.
The only reason they are now (slightly) rowing back on the Net Zero madness is for votes, not conviction. They are still a bunch of shysters and charlatans.

What Rendell was actually pondering, though he may not agree, was how to make a left-of-centre Tory party more left-leaning. And that’s something I agree with, but not for the reasons Rendell gave. The Tory’s are not a right-wing party and, as such, should be clearly exposed for who they really are. So, as far as I’m concerned, the more Tim Stanley’s they embrace the better, but no, right-wing politics does not include left-wing people.
Yes indeed. Perhaps Tory supporters still consider themselves and/or the party “right wing”. I would love to engage with some of them because it baffles me. I imagine most of them are either in some very deep sleep or they are the kind of people who don’t want to be seen supporting someone as vulgar and brash as Farridge, but I speculate. I don’t think I know anyone personally who still votes Tory.
The Conservative Party isn’t conservative; the Labour Party is no longer the party of labour; the Liberal Democrats are neither liberal nor democratic; the Greens are barking mad, and Restore are full of racist nutjobs.
That’s why I’m voting Reform UK.
Using the R word to demonise people or parties is part of the reason that we ended up with native Britons becoming a shrinking proportion of the population and discrimination against them engrained in law. I would’nt mind so much if the newcomers contributed their fair share but they don’t (unless you count crime where they are over-represented). Maybe, just maybe, have a little less focus on calling people racist; engage and argue where Restore are wrong by all means but just name calling them racist is using globalist framing.
I am a member of Restore and I am no nut job. You Sir are asleep whilst our whole country is being taken over by people who don’t care about our country, have nothing in common with us, don’t want to obey our laws or integrate into our society, and have different standards to our own. You only have to walk down the average High Street to see what is going on. I just want my ancestral home back. AIM HIGH VOTE LOWE MILLIONS MUST GO!
