West Midlands Police have been accused of two-tier policing after a white man was arrested after being assaulted by several black men in footage widely shared on social media. The Telegraph has more.
The force is facing calls to release full footage of the incident, which happened in Birmingham on June 21st.
Footage shared on social media shows a white man being arrested following a physical confrontation with a group of black men.
During the incident, the white man is seemingly pushed to the ground by one of the group, while another tries to punch him.
A police officer then appears to push the white man against a wall as he is getting up. He reacts by swinging his arm and punching her on the head.
By this time, the group of black men has walked away from the incident.
The force confirmed that one man had been arrested and had been charged with assaulting a police officer.
Cody Harper, 20, is set to appear at Birmingham magistrates’ court on July 23rd.
Responding to the incident online, Robert Jenrick, the Reform UK MP, said it was “baffling” that the force had decided to arrest the “young white man being attacked” and not those who attacked him.
Demanding the police release the full footage, he told the Telegraph: “If there’s additional footage that explains why the officer acted as she did, it should be shared immediately to clear things up.
“Otherwise the public will rightly question the clear unequal treatment by the police.
“The police have lost the benefit of the doubt in the eyes of many. They’ve had enough of two-tier policing.”

This was an attack by a uniformed thug on a member of the public who was offering no threat – he had just got up and had his back to her.
His “punch” was clearly a reaction. From the video it appears he actually swung his fist as he turned round after he was violently pushed when he had his back to the pusher and most likely did not realise who it was attacking him.
Clearly judging by the foul gob on her, she’s no lady. That’s no way to speak to a member of the public.
There clearly is a failure in the recruitment process and too many unsuitable individuals are now police officers. It seems they’ll take any trash to fill diversity quotas.
Notice that an unseen male police officer speaks up to protect the female police officer, and that is the whole problem of females in front-line combative roles in the police and military: the men are naturally protective of the women, and it distracts the men from being able to rely completely on their brothers-in-arms as equals.
I now hate the police force, and I hate what it’s become, they are our enemy!
Unfortunately there’s no sector in society that is immune from harbouring various types of degenerates or corrupt individuals. See the excerpt below. He served only 15 years for trying to kill someone. He would have succeeded but for her lucky escape.

The police are meant to announce their presence. She just barrelled in silently and tackled him just after he’d been assaulted. His initial reaction was one of self defence and he fully complied once he regained his wits.

And then there’s the language… The lad is fully cooperating so there really is no excuse for that treatment.
There’s also a longer version of the video, where some members of the public try to point out that they got the wrong guy but they’re being told to stfu. And then they handcuff the guy and try to get him in the car the wrong way, calling him a d*ck… You can’t make this up!

Everything in this video is wrong, so wrong that it should be used in police trainings – as I’m sure will happen in some 3rd world countries where they’ll laugh their arses off at the gross incompetence.
But what astonishes me is the doubling down with the other tweet – that they’ve concluded that nothing they did is wrong and they ask everyone to stop sharing the video. That’s when it became viral and, interestingly, the fact that it wasn’t widely shared until then shows that the “far-right” is showing more restraint than the MSM who’s happily reporting using out of context footage such as the one from the Manchester airport.

I can understand why the police officer went for the white kid. He was the easier to remove from the situation, especially if she were on her own. However, it is utter stupidly to expect women police officers to deal with this kind of fracas. And the boy shouldn’t have been arrested.
The policewoman fails to identify herself at any point, assaults him, and his ‘punch’ missed – being more a neck grab wrestle. Furthmore he had been knocked down, hit on the back of the head and had no clear sight of who was then assaulting him.
I love the way the average copper becomes just another foul-mouthed thug the moment it all kicks off. Policemen – and women – renounce all claims on professional respect when they join the oiks in this way. I’d also love to see how she’d fare in arresting this guy if no one else were around to help her…
I’m not sure what you mean by that. I had many a struggle with people in my career. They’re never pretty, and I did sometimes swear while it was going on. It didn’t make me a foul-mouthed thug.
No issues here… it’s pretty well established now that it’s just fine to punch a wpc on the nose, or even take a sledge to her spine… will be interesting to see how CPS go with this one, given the perpetrator isn’t from one of their favourite groups.

Directly commentating on the video – the kid clearly thinks he’s still under attacked by his assailants. The “Police” officer makes no attempt to identify herself and instead just weighs in and continues the attack on the confused kid.

The white lad can easily get off the assault police. He’s just been punched to the ground and is probably stunned. Someone else shoves him against the shutters and he almost immediately reacts (with a punch that misses the target).
His defence will argue that he thought he was still being attacked.
The question of why the police went for the white guy and not the black guy who punched him to the ground is a question they need to provide a satisfactory answer to. My prediction is that there isn’t one…
This isn’t Ireland, as it states in the blurb, because you can hear their English accents, but this is cringe. The thing the police have to remember is that now, at the first whiff of drama, members of the public are whipping their phones out to film events as they unfold, then they’d best assume it’ll get uploaded to social media straight away.
Why do you think they didn’t pepper spray or taser him since he was obviously resisting arrest? So instead of disabling the perp in order to cuff him, it looks like they’re all involved in a game of Twister on the pavement, then the chav nicks the policeman’s baton and starts battering them;

It’s embarrassing enough that two policemen can’t manage to successfully handcuff one unarmed and uncooperative crim, but to drop the truncheon so that said criminal grabs it then batters them with it, resulting in him making a clean getaway, does add insult to injury. I just assumed all police officers carried tasers and pepper spray. Maybe they don’t..Or are they told not to use these things on non-white people? 😮

Wow! I have often stoutly defended the police, but not this time, unless as Robert Jenrick points out there is more footage.
How can you defend a ‘force’ which beat people up during the plandemic, arrested people for breathing fresh air, do nothing on violent crime, aided the Muslim rape of white girls, dance in no pride parades, arrest whites for being white and are in the main useless and corrupt?
