What’s the biggest crack in British society right now? Carol Vorderman’s anus, according to some. In 2021, some strange individual online wished Carol Vorderman a happy birthday by saying “My god I’d love to smell and lick your arsehole” (probably Vorderman herself, given how far up her own posterior she appears to reside). Now, the Reform UK candidate in the upcoming Makerfield by-election, local plumber Rob Kenyon, has been ‘exposed’ by the media as creepily responding to this person’s initial post by replying: “He’s only saying what we’re all thinking.” Or that is what outlets like the Guardian are reporting Kenyon as having done, anyway.
In actual fact, Rob was replying to a post from the ex-SAS celebrity author Chris Ryan addressed to Vorderman’s wannabe perineum-polisher, observing that: “If you’re prepared to put this [comment] on a public forum, I would suggest that your computer drive probably needs checking.” So, Kenyon was in reality mocking the original poster for being a public bum-perv. Yet publications like the Guardian deliberately reproduced Kenyon’s post incompletely to make it sound like he was directly agreeing with the original poster. In full, what Rob actually said was: “He’s only saying what we’re all thinking Chris,” followed by the emojis for crying with laughter and the thumbs up sign. A truly committed offence-seeker could ask: “Thumbs up what?” But I think it’s pretty obvious Kenyon was speaking facetiously here.

I absolutely loathe Reform. I loathe them to the very cell of my being. All they want is division. And they lie. The scale of the hypocrisy is insurmountable. They say, ‘We are the party of the working people’, but I couldn’t think of any party, even the Conservatives, that are worse than them.
In the context of this article I would be inclined to say that Vorderman has got it arse about face. Lying, hypocrisy and hating working people are all tenets of the Far Left creed she supports.

I think Lewis’ birthday greeting to Vorderman describes a disgusting act and I agree with ChrisRyanMM’s comment that his computer storage probably needs checking.
What I find amusing is woke lefties trying to be outraged but without stating that the described act is disgusting – presumably for fear of offending or alienating any of those who might engage in such activity.

The case is not advanced by ludicrously overstating the figures!
This figure appears to come from Sarah Champion, MP for Rotherham in 2015, later repeated by Baron Pearson of Rannoch in a speech to the Lords, just last year.
It seems to be an extrapolation of dodgy statistics, particularly taken in the context of ‘Muslim’ rape gangs.
However, there is some evidence from an ONS survey of 2020 that 7.5% of adults in the UK have experienced sexual assaults before the age of 16, 3.5% men and 11.5% women, which equates to 3.1million people… six years later, one imagines the figure has only increased?
For the information of the less numerate, the figures are cumulative over a period of well over three decades. It is not so unrealistic.

Perhaps we should start awarding ‘confected outrage’ scores? And if a particular person or organisation scores frequently then all their opinions may be disregarded.

I got heartily sick and tired of seeing Vorderman all over the telly years ago. At one point she was on several different programmes at once. I found her intensely boring and it got worse.
Better Homes [Blimey Jan 1999 – 27 years ago! – she is old] reveal her total charisma by-pass [apparently from birth] and lack of ability to connect and relate to the ‘ordinary people’ having the home makovers done for them.
It was ITV’s offering to compete with the truly charismatic Carol Smiley with “Changing Rooms” which brought us the eccentrically dressed Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Carol should fit in well with gap toothed Zak.
