Government Announces End of Pandemic Restrictions – Including Mask Mandate From January 26th

The Prime Minster has announced not only the end of Plan B measures from January 26th – including vaccine passports, work-from-home guidance and even face masks – but his intention to end the remaining measures as well.

4 min read

As Boris Johnson’s premiership unravels following the backlash from the ‘partygate’ revelations of illicit Downing Street lockdown shindigs, the Prime Minister has announced not only the end of Plan B measures from January 26th – including vaccine passports, work-from-home guidance and face masks – but his intention to end the remaining measures as well. He told the Commons:

Today’s latest ONS data show clearly that infection levels are falling in England and while there are some places where cases are likely to continue rising, including in primary schools, our scientists believe it is likely that the omicron wave has now peaked nationally.

There remain, of course, significant pressures on the NHS across our country, and especially in the North East and North West, but hospital admissions which were doubling every nine days just two weeks ago have now stabilised, with admissions in London even falling. The numbers in intensive care not only remain low but are actually also falling.

So, this morning, the Cabinet concluded that because of the extraordinary booster campaign, together with the way the public have responded to the Plan B measures, we can return to Plan A in England and allow Plan B regulations to expire.

As a result, from the start of Thursday next week mandatory certification will end. Organisations can, of course, choose to use the NHS Covid pass voluntarily but we will end the compulsory use of Covid status certification in England.

Announcing the end of work-from-home guidance with immediate effect, he said: “People should speak to their employers about arrangements for returning to the office.”

He also said that face masks would no longer be mandated in classrooms from tomorrow, or anywhere else after Plan B measures lapse:

Having looked at the data carefully, the Cabinet concluded that once regulations lapse the Government will no longer mandate the wearing of face masks anywhere.

From tomorrow, we will no longer require face masks in classrooms and the Department for Education will shortly remove national guidance on their use in communal areas.

In the country at large we will continue to suggest the use of face coverings in enclosed or crowded spaces, particularly when you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet – but we will trust the judgement of the British people and no longer criminalise anyone who chooses not to wear one.

He also signalled his intention to end the legal requirement to self-isolate, including bringing forward the current expiry date from March 24th:

The self-isolation regulations expire on March 24th, at which point I very much expect not to renew them. Indeed, were the data to allow, I’d like to seek a vote in this House to bring that date forward. As Covid becomes endemic, we will need to replace legal requirements with advice and guidance, urging people with the virus to be careful and considerate of others.

He added that restrictions on visits to care homes will be eased, with Health Secretary Sajid Javid setting out plans “in the coming days”.

The ONS brought out its latest infection survey data early today, showing a sharp drop in coronavirus prevalence in the U.K. last week, as already seen in the falling reported infection numbers.

It’s not all good news, though. Asked by Conservative MP Dr. Andrew Murrison whether given leaked advice to ministers that the NHS vaccine mandate “is neither rational nor proportionate”, would he “think again before redundancy letters start going out as from February 3rd”, the Prime Minister reiterated his support for the policy:

The arguments have been made well made by colleagues across the House today. I just remind him this is something that is supported by the NHS themselves for patient safety. It is a very difficult point when it comes to patients who have contracted fatal Covid. People do want their medical staff to be vaccinated. I would just repeat what I have said throughout the afternoon, I do think it is the responsibility of all healthcare professionals to be vaccinated.

The fight goes on. There’s also the question of who might replace Boris should the current plot to oust him succeed, with a worry that someone even more keen on restrictions might end up in the top job.

As we all know on this site there should have been almost no restrictions anyway. So why the crawling expressions of gratitude for a restoration of our rights to do, go, meet and see who, where, when and how we want. My mask says “this is a police state” I’ve worn it for the sake of marital hsrmony- it goes in the bin from Weds evening- r

If we are free, then why are they going to charge for PCR tests from June, when the US of A has just decided that they don’t distinguish between flu and covid?

Quite so: the scum ‘in charge’ must be shown that it is NOT in their interest to piss all over the plebs whilst massively undermining the future of the UK. If enough heads roll, they may start actually serving us, rather than serving us up!

Here’s my theory, and I came up with this theory because every time it looks like things are normal again from the way I see people acting, the government is going to wait until people start acting normal again then … KABLAMO! A terrifying new variant has emerged that is particularly bad in children which displays all the characteristics of vaccine injury but it’s totally the result of the new strain of rona. We need to lock down immediately and you know why we’re in trouble now? Because you filthy scum have been walking around maskless and shaking hands and hugging family. It’s all your fault this super mutant super cereal variant is causing so much trouble.

And if ever I need a blood transfusion I would have very grave concerns if the blood being transfused into my veins had come from someone who had been jabbed.

I would very much like to know whether any independent research has been done into that issue, to determine whether separate blood banks need to be maintained, otherwise the ‘contaminated blood scandal’ will pale into insignificance by comparison.

The general mask mandate should also have been immediately scrapped. They serve no purpose. Why the week’s wait??

The NHS staff vaccination mandate should also have been scrapped. The evidence that they are ineffective, especially against Morinic Omicron, and indeed actually harmful, is becoming overwhelming.

The REAL battle though is now convincing first govt and hen the people that there are much better and truly safe and effective treatments for covid, primarily Ivermectin. It is criminally insane that these have been denied.

The final step of course is how to undo the massive amount of fear that govt have cruelly installed in the population. That is the real ‘long covid’.

It’s good news, undoubtedly. Not quite right that Johnson can play the saviour when easing restrictions he himself imposed, but we’ll take it. Extremely chilling to hear Starmer stand up and ask what the evidence is for the easing, a question he didn’t see fit to ask when Plan B came in. The idea that someone like him can hold a responsible office is incredible, with his self-contradicting, circular arguments for a start, but lots more too. Bringing his words down to the level of meaning, what he actually said was, ‘I support harm to business, anxiety in children and widespread mental health damage, and propose we maximise all these things and others for as long as we can based on discredited evidence.’ It’s virtue-signalling rubbish.

Plan B was always a sop to the Covid hysterics. It made no difference at all to the rise and decline in cases nor did any of the measures adopted by the devolved nations. I would much rather Boris Johnson admitted that important fact than his having been at a Downing St garden party. On the sackings question, I thought that the NHS was on the brink of being “overwhelmed”? Strange response then to shed a significant number of its staff.

This is far from over. They have made it clear they will deal with this through pharmaceutical interventions now- jabs, pills and tests. So their business model has been established and set up just nicely. They haven’t dropped mandates for healthcare. They haven’t dropped travel restrictions for the unjabbed. They still plan to test, jab you and stuff you with a pill. The fight has only just begun. Just because you can ditch a mask is meaningless as you didn’t need to wear one anyway we are all exempt if we want to be. Not time to take your foot off the pedal.

I’ll be civil and measured.
The evil psychopaths have already injured and killed untold millions.
And I’m now expected to be happy because we won’t be expected to wear a mask? Like we were back to 19th century immunology?
The virus was always merely the vector for the delivery of the spike protein.
It is the latter, a contrived, engineered toxin, that will quietly kill millions in the years to come without any suspicion or blame for the vaccine. We are merely seeing the tip of the iceberg now, only months into their extermination program.

Professors Bhakdi and Burkhardt have already proven this. Yeadon and Malone know and have publicised this.
https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/bhakdiburkhardt-pathology-results
Dr Chetty discusses it very clearly.
https://rumble.com/vsbtyb-dr.-shankara-chetty-on-what-is-really-going-on..html

I will be happy when the evil psychopaths responsible for this are arrested and face the full consequences of the law for their heinous crimes.
Until then, I completely discount all their noise.
The butterfly effect has been set in motion. And nothing can stop it now.

Organisations can, of course, choose to use the NHS Covid pass voluntarily

This is not good enough. They must be banned by law and their use prosecuted in the courts.

I’d be amazed if the ever so woke Premier League did the right thing and stopped the vaccine passports. Utterly vile thing to have to do, but football must kneel down to the higher powers.

Well said. The arguments in favour of vaccine passports are weak. Vaccinated people contract and spread covid. Anyone who claims to be following ‘The Science’ ignores this at their peril.

Nonetheless even if a new vaccine is created with a more effective reduction in transmission it is important to remember that there are other grave concerns about the precedent set by vaccine mandates and the wider harms which will occur. It is important for communities like this to rally round each other and keep challenging our wannabe technocratic rulers.

If it is simply a matter of “business choice” with no legal underpinning then it is ripe for an equality act lawsuit and damages to frighten other businesses who would discriminate similarly.

CDC announcement about natural immunity and it not waning would be strong evidence in support of case.

Now, all we would need would be a functioning court and legal system to bring it about…

German health minister Karl Lauterbach responding to the statement of the German doctors association that they won’t participate in executing mandatory Covid vaccinations against the will of their patients:

“Doctors should jab everyone, those who want to get a jab totally voluntarily and those who want to get one to comply with the mandate, because noone is vaxxed against their will, because the vaxx mandate leads to everyone getting the vaxx voluntarily in the end.”

You really CANNOT make this up.

Reminds me of a science fiction story from the 1950s, in which condemned victims of the State report voluntarily for execution. This is because every citizen has a device imprinted in his arm which, when triggered by the authorities, starts a burning sensation which increases in intensity until it becomes unbearable.

MSM is trying to make fun of people wanting to protect themselves with cheap and proven drugs. Ivermectin has been FDA approved for human use since 1996. It also beats Pfizer’s new wonder drug hands down, and costs next to nothing. Ivermectin doesn’t make tons of money. So they know the Covid shot is on its final gasp, so they take it add something different to it, rebrand under another name and charge 20 times what they would for ivermectin. I cannot wrap my head around this nonsense. When I explain this to my relatives they label me as crazy and ask me if I know better than science. I don’t make up these information out of my ass. All this information is true and proven. For some people it is near impossible for them to wake up. They are comfortable in their clown world life. If you want to get Ivermectin you can visit https://ivmpharmacy.com

Hmmm… let’s see how the whole experimental vaccine with death as a possible side effect pans out when our insurers start to see EU insurers refusing to pay out on deaths that occurred as a result of the ‘vaccines’ over in France.

Who, who has refused so far to participate in this experiment, is now going to take a gamble that their family will be left homeless and destitute when the mortgage protection policy fails to pay out.

I know the suicide clause in life insurance is legally sound as I contemplated it when in a dark place three decades ago.

Spot on, but fat chance, of course.

I was quite impressed with Steve Baker on Monday, when he joined the people handing over the ‘no vaxx passport petition’. Why? Because he only focused on giving full credit to the people who signed and above all to the organiser of it, rather than using thus as an opportunity to grandstand for himself.
And I am, or rather was, a Remainer….

If Boris is booted out in the next few days then what? If the conservatives (with a small c) choose a covidian as the next PM will we back to vax passes, masks, lockdowns?

This is probably part of the plan, give the plebs a glimmer of hope under Doris then take it away under the next dictator.

I must say that, knowing what we know now, it is an utter disgrace and criminal act if plans to sack tens of thousands of health worker are executed. This will kill both people in this country and people from the countries that are plundered to try and replace them.

And speaking for myself, I would prefer health workers who have not had these experimental gene therapy drugs with their spike protein shed, higher viral load when infected, damage to the immune system etc.
