The Department for Education and the Prime Minister's spokesman have denied reports that the Government is planning an October 'firebreak' lockdown, but the Vaccines Minister seemed less sure on Sky News this morning.

The Govt has drawn up plans for a 'firebreak' lockdown if hospitalisations remain at current level, according to a SAGE scientist. The odd thing this, current hospitalisations are a fraction of what they were in January.
