In an article for today’s Mail on Sunday, Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting says that we should never lock down the country again and have to learn to live with the virus. When even lockdown’s most fervent enthusiasts abandon the policy, you know the argument is won.
We know that the coronavirus is here to stay but, as Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, I don’t want to see our country in lockdown ever again.
A visit to a primary school in my constituency this week was a reminder that lockdowns come at a great cost.
Children spent 155 days out of school on average over the past couple of years, but the impact on their learning, their wellbeing and their life chances is immeasurable.
Entrepreneurs who have spent years building up their businesses have seen them collapse, while others have made enormous sacrifices just to survive.
Workers have lost their jobs.
All through no fault of their own.
I still haven’t forgiven the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, for leaving so many self-employed people excluded from any support whatsoever, while carelessly handing billions in Covid support to fraudsters.
There is plenty of evidence that shutting us off from our colleagues, friends and family has taken its toll on our mental health and wellbeing.
Feelings of loss and loneliness are inevitable when much of what makes life worth living is taken away.
That’s why when Keir Starmer spoke about shifting the focus on healthcare to prevention as well as cure yesterday, he pledged that Labour would guarantee mental health support within a month to all who need it.
We need to learn to live with Covid.
Worth reading in full.

Yeah, but, but they still don’t want it to end.
The end of Plan B in sight? ‘Optimistic’ Oliver Dowden hints Covid curbs WILL be lifted on January 26 as Sajid Javid believes the ‘data is moving in the right direction’ – but masks are likely to stay
Masks protect covid & stop it going extinct, I bet labour won’t vote against masks.
All that means is more vaccine pressure & coercion.
I just woke up from a great family (only) celebration of my 80th birthday to find a socialist making since!’ am I awake?
Not exactly difficult when they already know their previous line (and that of the government) was all BS. If you know the truth of a matter and see the wind blowing in a different direction because the lies and cover-ups are staring to (and increasing in number / severity) be uncovered, then a politician is bound to change direction.
I don’t hear them apologising to everyone from getting it so wrong – why? Because the knew it was and cannot admit so, because it is effectively criminal.
Please read the whole article – new variant? Would not hesitate to reintroduce measures etc. All a sham. Many happy returns by the way.
Indeed
‘a labour spokesperson made it clear that they would still vote on renewed lockdown provisions in the face of new variants’ (or similar, towards end of DM article).

Masks protect covid? But what is covid? No one has isolated it yet, and it hasn’t changed mortality rates.
Until proven it exists, as anything other than a normal coronavirus, I’ll be calling it seasonal flu with its like-for-like symptoms.

Without a full sincere apology and acknowledgment we were correct it is just canting hypocrisy.
Pivoting is spineless pragmatism.
I’m not accepting apologies. And less so from the politicians who abdicated all responsibility at the time.
I’m sorry but as far as I’m concerned, anyone in parliament who voted for lockdowns should face criminal charges, basically for putting healthy, innocent people under house arrest.
That’s the only way this kind of abuse doesn’t happen again for a long time.
Without admission of guilt and an apology what use is punishment?
Nuremburg Nazis deserved the death penalty, but ought to have become conscious of their crimes and apologised too.
Repentance involves this even justice must be severe.
All politicians who have nodded this sh*t show through are now guilty of ‘complicity’ in whatever transpires – including the casualties that are mounting as a direct consequence of their actions!
I don’t care about stupid apologies. I want these people in prison for criminal negligence and human rights violations.
Indeed! What about plotting treason against the British people?
Nearly two years too late…
Yes, and absolutely worthless at this time. He’ll drop it the minute the next lockdown is imposed.
Quite so, there is nothing Wes Streeting is saying that we haven’t been telling them since the start of Lockdown One.
Businesses have needlessly closed, jobs lost, childrens education disrupted. mental health hugely damaged, suicides and domestic abuse gone though the roof, lives ruined and all for no reason.
We look back on the foolishness of Savanarola with his Bonfire Of The Vanities and wonder how it could be allowed to have happened.
History will look back on Covid/lockdown in the same way noting that once again reactionary restrictions got more severe the more obviously pointless they became as the hardliners desperately try to salvage their reputations.
Savanarola came to a very sticky fiery end
Savonarola was liberal
They can seriously fuck off with this. Many of us were saying this from the start. Lockdowns hammered the working class, we all knew it. Labour chose to ignore that and it was their pressure which partly encouraged the tories to adopt these policies. I will never ever vote Labour again after this, modern labour is a woke joke.
They’re ignoring the boot being stuck into nurses and other healthworkers “in the name of Covid” right now.
The Dutch PvdA is the equivalent of the UK Labour Party (the name means the same thing). It is a shadow of its former self for a variety of reasons. It has already told the current government it will support the introduction of 2g on the workfloor. That means only recovered or vaxxed can go to work. Employers have already expressed concern about having to keep paying employees, even if they are not working (a lot of jobs cannot be WFH, shops, mechanics, etc.).
IMO this will inevitably lead to said employers being allowed to fire the unvaxxed as it would be too burdensome for them to continue paying someone who can’t go to work. It will also cause strife for the vaxxed who are working and doing the unvaxxed’s work. The employment laws here are very strict, it is very difficult to fire people and they’ve been trying to change this for years. To me it is evident that this 2g crap is being used to achieve various aims, one is to undermine the existing employment protection laws. And the Dutch Labour Party is only too happy to cooperate. These hypocrites need to start calling themselves the Anti-Labour Party.
The UK Labour party represent primarily public sector white collar workers, precisely those who most benefited from WFH.
There is virtually no industrial working class left but huge numbers of no fixed contract ‘self employed’ represented by no party of left or right.
Yes – more BS, same politicians and Lying Media!
Problem is who is there left to trust? They are almost all as bad as each other except for a very few who are unlikely to gain influence or power in the near future
Mind you, they said that about Winston Churchill before Hitler invaded Poland but there is nobody approaching his stature anywhere on the horizon.
They think they sense an opportunity. The trees are going to be thick with Political Vultures. Plain and simple.
There is something else besides those disgusting face-nappies that needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY.
Those hideous perspex screens that have sprung up in supermarkets, libraries and all over need to be destroyed NOW.
The object of these things is to turn customers into suppliants. Nothing to do with the virus or public health. They are hideous.
Yes – to turn customers into supplicants, and to turn low-level counter clerks of all kinds into farmhands, ushering the ear-tagged livestock along the conveyor belt.
Exacatly! Note how rude and aggressive low-level ‘staff’ are becoming as they now treat ‘customers like cattle!
Oh come. You know this CIA generated Wu flu cannot get around, over, or though the slots in this Chinese supplied plastic.
Come on man where have you been, you know its for your protection.
How about letting people in and out of the country without having to have our health screened – you know, as we have always done..
There is a lot to be dismantled.
Personally I’d go further and ban the wearing of masks in public. There was a time when masks were only worn by bandits. And yes, all the Covid paraphernalia must go, screens, sanitiser, notices, announcements. They are instruments of torture that belong in history books and museums.
Screens in shops are almost the only things left, apart from twats voluntarily wearing masks.
One way systems in the aisles abandoned (the most irritating and useless of all).
Can’t remember the last time I heard a Covid Safety tannoy announcement or saw a Covid Awareness poster.
Red/green traffic lights to restrict numbers gone.
Manufactured car park queues disappeared as quickly as they arrived.
Junior staff no longer sanitizing trolleys.
Sanitiser pods now a sop for fanatics (ignored notably by hospital staff starting their shifts under the eye of security and reception staff).
Retailers definitely not giving the support to any lockdown restrictions as they once did.
Local Tesco still has separate in and out doors – that needs to go. And the table with assorted sprays and paper towels outside the ‘in’ door. Plus plastic screens, of course – and sometimes announcements about wearing face nappies.
You must have a fanatic local manager.
Wales ?
Where was that?
My local Tesco is still the full nightmare. Used to be my regular place but I haven’t set foot in there for over a year. Doubt if I’ll ever go back.
Have you told them why?
Home Bargains still inflicting the “Stay Safe / protect each other” which is annoying because they have been very relaxed throughout.
Tesco, on the rare occasions I have to cross the threshold are still pumping the safety crap and by God can they drag in mask idiots.
Otherwise most shops are taking no notice thank goodness.
They all only care about their organisation/business, and everything else is secondary to that
They don’t actually give a fig what the mantra is, so long as it makes them ‘good/powerful’. They will switch tack in a heartbeat, and end up condemning the very mantra they once chanted.
All still here in Wales in many establishments.
IMHO shop screens protect till operators from the disgusting habits of some unhealthy customers spreading their common or garden germs without a thought for preventative hygiene that used to be standard practice.
My Google feed this morning included a Guardian review of a new Amazon Fresh store in London, supposedly fully automated with no staff, cameras recording everything you pick up and charging you account without human contact so presumably no need for screens.
Reviewer said it was not a happy experience.
Soulless.
I think she used that very word.
There were three humans present. One guiding potential shoppers into the logging in process, one guarding the booze and one somewhere else.
“Guardian”? Not here please!
Know thine Enemy.
I do try to avoid Guardian entries on my Google feed but this one rightfully looked interesting.
Problem is it will encourage Google to punt more of their stuff at ne.
Oh well, improved from earlier which was 2
-5
against!
Anything to breakdown civilised human contact and label the whole population as permanently “sick” and in need of more “experimental” Gates vaccines – such unbelievable Evil has rarely been seen !
Absolutely. As if the aerosol-borne virus can’t get around screens!!
When the rulers talk of peace, war is already being prepared.
When the talk is of “no more lockdowns”, the next lockdown is already being prepared.
“If you want peace, be prepared for war”.
Wes Streeting: “I still haven’t forgiven the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, for leaving so many self-employed people excluded from any support whatsoever, while carelessly handing billions in Covid support to fraudsters.”
Dig the word “carelessly”. I mean Wes Streeting, a so-called “opposition” politician, wouldn’t want to suggest that Rishi Sunak is in any way a BAD MAN. He wouldn’t want anyone to think in that way about a serving senior member of Her Majesty’s Government.
With “opposition” like the f***ing Labour party, the government hardly needs any “friends”.
“I still haven’t forgiven John” is mostly something you say as a joke.
“Carelessly” is certainly something you say when you don’t want to leave open the possibility that anybody might think you’re suggesting that a person is a crook.
It’s so easy to spend other people’s money.
Create a disaster, then steal money from the population and give it to people you favour (for whatever reason) to try to make up for the wreckage of your own making.
That’s the entire job of these useless officials.
Crrrrrripes. If the whole Labour party talked that way, I’d vote for them – and I used to be somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan.
If in March, say, a Tory government issues a “You must stay at home” order, as it did in March 2020, what do you think the probability is that Streeting will say “Hell no! Bad BAD government. Don’t do what they say”? He’ll be supporting them to the hilt.
If he cares about workers losing their jobs, why doesn’t he mention the real live issue of the “vaccine” mandate that is being imposed on healthworkers?
That’s because “prevention as well as cure” is code for mandatory jabs for all.
This apparent change of heart will only be for some perceived political advantage though it’s not immediately obvious what Labour might think that is.
Everybody knows their whole lockdown policy has been
‘more, sooner, harsher and longer’.
‘workers have lost their jobs through no fault of their own’ – presumably this person would classify those who have been dismissed for refusal to take an experimental vaccine as fair game for sacking
He most certainly would, it’s all about the jabs.
Will such sacked healthcare workers be fully entitled to unemployment benefits or will they be regarded as deliberately making themselves unemployed?
”I still haven’t forgiven the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, for leaving so many self-employed people excluded from any support whatsoever, while carelessly handing billions in Covid support to fraudsters.”
Just words, although I haven’t forgiven him either. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere on this forum I have written to the Prime Minister, several times actually, about who is going to compensate me for the five figure sum in turnover that my holiday letting business lost when the government summarily stopped all short term property rentals, all cancelled at the stroke of a pen, or key, and the criteria for their support scheme excluded me from qualification, mainly because I am low income self employed. I know that I am fortunate enough that it wasn’t a disaster and we survived by scaling back on costs and being prudent. But other people were not so fortunate and many small businesses have gone to the wall. And it’s bloody annoying that the government ministers and their families and friends are racking in taxpayer money, which the government is ‘spaffing up the wall’ over the wall into their bank accounts while the taxpayers are out of pocket due to their policies.
As usual, especially with Labour, this has the “Ring of Insincerity”. Rank opportunism, and beneath the mealymouthed words lurks yet more repression, the application of terrorism from the State and all that we have had to date. Presumably this prat has been walking around with his mask over his eyes, as well as his mouth. Had he not been doing so, he might have perceived, with one pair of organs, the damage he apparently now recognises, and with the orifice beneath, said something about stopping it.
Stand by for the breathtaking “New Normal” of endless “vaccines”, face rags and all the other s**t that comes from these lacklustre people.
Bullseye!
This has been high treason by the Labour Party. Of the worst kind.
Not only directly hurting the people they’re supposed to represent, but also siding with an evil, murderous, psychopathic agenda.
Starmer, the former CPS director in charge when claims of Saville’s crimes were suppressed, on record in Parliament calling Telegram ‘the app of choice for extremists’, will be judged harshly by history.
I wish them a swift Pasok-ification.
Beyond Labour – the whole ‘tide is turning’ optimistic narrative is naive.
If you think all this infrastructure of oppression has been set in motion, with hundreds of thousands maimed and murdered, just to now hold back .. you are deluded. Continue to organise the Resistance, as you see fit, with renewed vigour.
Very well put.
If anything the Labour Party has been more treacherous than the Tory Party.
Labour have a mandate to oppose and they signally failed to apply that mandate. They are not entitled to ANY excuses. More MP’s from the Party of government spoke against the executive than Labour.
The desecration of Parliament and democracy sits squarely on the Labour Party. They no longer warrant a place in the body politic and their MP’s are nought but pointless drones.
Starmer = Trilateral Commission Operative – all we need to know .
No friend of the British people.
High bonkers.
Mark my words, this year will be worse financially than Convid was last year.
What a cheeky b’stard. He and his party have been voting for these measures and demanding more, harder, harsher measures. The Unions that support his party have been deliberately prolonging this, as has the media that supports them. Now suddenly he wants to make a bit of clear blue sea between labour and the mess they have fully contributed to.? Contemptable.
Neil,
Please have a look at new labours sisters in the USA.
Have a butches at http://www.theconservativetreehouse .com and look at a survey of democrap voters attitudes to us vaccine realists.
It is sad but not surprising that the majority would like us be in gaol.
It seems only yesterday that Kier said “why did Tory MPs vote to oppose basic safety measures?” I.e. plan B.
U-turn? Of course not.
“Cheeky Bastard” sums him up perfectly!
Nothing much decent in the Rotten Labour Party these days!
Covid-19 and Vaccine Observations From Pediatric Specialists | The Unity Project 50mins
Made the mistake of clicking the link, nothing is worth reading in full if it involves exposing oneself to the Mail website and the sidebar of shame.
Oh dear that sounds pompous…but I don’t care who has been ‘showing their curves’ recently and it’s VERY hard to un-see
The Sidebar of Shame is truly revolting, with its constant sleazy objectification of women.
It’s remarkable that it’s managed to survive this long – would seem an obvious target for the wokeists (and a fully justifiable target too, unlike many of the things they go after).
The sidebar of celebs and elite who have no fear of covid and travel the beaches of the world
Try reading the comments, they usually cheer me up.
I like the ‘sidebar of shame’.
Peachy Keir Starmer sets pulses racing in his translucent visor!
Hang on… Labour thugs have supported the draconian measures all the way. In fact they wanted hard-core measures brought in sooner, quicker, faster, greater – they can just get lost. They know the tide is turning and now seek to politically benefit from the change in attitudes. Honestly, have they no shame or do they have amnesia?
Definitely no shame – it’s pretty much an essential job requirement for any politician.
They have only looked at the polls and see the wind changing. Starmer still wearing his super shield?
Outside it has to be said.
I didn’t know he was a welder
Brass monkeys feeling the chill.
Neither did he.
You need protection when you’re a gas lighter.
How does he command any respect.
He doesn’t.
The first time I saw a Covid visor was a bloke on a bicycle wearing it at 45° (so useless anyway). He was full on lykra lout with all the gear except that he couldn’t also wear his cycle helmet that might have offered some genuine protection against a real and present danger.
It’s bolted on.
In a rational world, and without knowing who this was, any sane, moderately intelligent person would conclude that this guy was auditioning for a place in the bottom block.
The non-existent virus can’t go beneath the lower edge, nor go round the sides.
In a hundred years’ time children will look at these pictures and laugh.
Or cry.
Ah, changing their tune ( a complete 180 reversal, given they wanted to lockdown harder and longer) because they have detected a change in the wind direction, brought on, ironically by small independent media outlets (mainly of the political Right) showcasing the many and widespread lies and cover-ups of the MSM, big tech/business,WEF, civil servants, so-called medical and scientific ‘experts’ and politicians.
As bad as Boris and his government have been during COVID, Labour were far worse, because they effectively pushed the other groups to go further and harder on COVID with nothing to back up the policies (quite the opposite, in fact). That they too have been as hypocritical when it comes to flouting the laws they wished us to adhere to.
Of course, their narrative will now turn to the Green agenda of the WEF et al, which will take over from CVOID, including ‘climate lockdowns’ and swinging penalties (including on freedoms) on the average person but which don’t affect the great and good. Sound familiar?
Where’s todays update page?
its back now
Don’t believe a word from these mask wearing skumbags. They are just trying to attract sceptic votes.
Fat chance of that !
Read the full article, they are still talking jab the world, none of us are safe until we are all safe, etc, the utter dangerous nonsense coming from Lie/Con continues at warp speed.
Is the telling phrase here guarantee health support?
As in reeducation? Lefties in other countries are insisting on this.
Guarantee mental health support within a month? Are they going to emoy a load of ‘plastic’ counsellors as they did with the ‘plastic’ police pcsos who cost a fortune but are useful as a chocolate teapot?
If they want to improve peoples mental health they can fight for the mask and vaccine mandates to go, otherwise it’s the same usual hot air because they perceive a possible early GE in the air.
This is really an opportunity for the population to wake up to the tyranny that are state bureaucracies and the politicians that run them.
They mess everything up meddling in people’s lives and getting in their way and then steal your money to fix the problem they’ve created.
They are such contemptible scumbags who lack any awareness of how utterly destructive they are.
Instead of promising to spend money they don’t have to put in place programmes that will probably more harm than good – like with almost everything central planners do – how about just getting out of the way and letting people get on with their lives.
We don’t want your help, we can take responsibility for ourselves. Piss off.
Guarantee mental health support within a month? …. This is code for, if you refuse the jab you will be sectioned under the Mental Health Act .
The whole concept of ‘Mental health support’ is a fucking joke anyway – the mental health profession are a bunch of charlatans, shysters, bullshitters and hucksters who revel in having power over people, and are the modern-day incarnation of the snake-oil salesman – the only difference being that rather than eye of newt in a green glass bottle it’s now something with a long name in a blister pack from big pharma (which turns people into barely-functioning zombies).
Speaking from experience, I have to agree.
We know that the coronavirus is here to stay but, as Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, I don’t want to see our country in lockdown ever again.
YOU and YOUR party ENTHUSIASTICALLY supported these measures and now you say this? While we should rejoice that a sinner has repented this all strikes me (and many others to judge from this forum) as mere weasel words. Are you going to press Johnson this week to remove ALL restrictions NOW, this week?
A visit to a primary school in my constituency this week was a reminder that lockdowns come at a great cost.
And it took a visit to a primary school for you to understand this? There have been NUMEROUS demonstrations over the past year each attended by tens of thousands (sometimes hundreds of thousands) of people all saying that Lockdowns were and are a catastrophic mistake. You ignored all of them. And how many of your constituents wrote to you pointing out the malicious damage in which YOU participated ? And what did you say to them?
Children spent 155 days out of school on average over the past couple of years, but the impact on their learning, their wellbeing and their life chances is immeasurable.
And you have only now discovered this? This was obvious from the very beginning but you closed your eyes and ears.
Entrepreneurs who have spent years building up their businesses have seen them collapse, while others have made enormous sacrifices just to survive.
Again, you have only just discovered this? Ever heard of IR35 Streeting? It was your vile government that introduced this malicious piece of legislation. Your party is a party for overpaid feather-bedded self-serving public sector jobsworths. What do YOU know about running a business, finding customers, painstakingly building up a business providing a real service, paying real taxes an providing real jobs? Remember, Streeting, that YOU do not pay tax and no public sector jobsworth pays any tax at all. The taxes you allegedly pay have been stolen from people like me.
Workers have lost their jobs.
All through no fault of their own.
We on here have been saying this for nearly two years. Where have YOU been??
I still haven’t forgiven the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, for leaving so many self-employed people excluded from any support whatsoever, while carelessly handing billions in Covid support to fraudsters.
And what were you doing while this happened?? You were screaming for yet more restrictions, harder restrictions, more fines etc. etc.
Streeting, you are a disgusting hypocrite. There are insufficient insults in the English Language properly to describe your sins.
Get down on your knees and repent and do it NOW.
Excellent post!
Well said
Too late.
But it’s not exactly “surrender”, is it? To me this just smells like a stealthy takeover by the authoritarian left. Perhaps no more “lockdowns” are their new credo, but the focus will just shift to other forms of authoritarianism like mandated vaccines, testing of asymptomatic people, vax passes (morphing into digital IDs), etc. Remember, the spokesperson indicated that the labour party would not “rule out” imposing restrictions in the emergence of OTHER VARIANTS (for goodness sake!).
And when the pandemic is well and truly over, and everyone admits it, there’s still good old “climate change” to fall back on as an excuse to retain “emergency powers” and keep people in line.
They’re trying to save face. Looks like we won’t be getting Nuremberg 2.0 after all…
We need to learn to live without Keir Starmer.
Try being one of the 3 million self-employed whose income was wiped away that day Johnson locked down. Then try living with the mental abuse and cruelty of watching ten million people paid £2500 a month to sit at home in the garden.
Then try living with being told you don’t exist by a smirking chancellor. Then try accepting that cunt could be the new PM.
Forgive? Never, if I saw him in real life I would knock the twat out
We need a lot less government, get them back in their boxes, providing the services we need, efficiently and at a reasonable cost, nothing else
Fuck off you liebor cunt
Don’t hold back, just say what you really mean.
Anyone who wants to send their comments to him, it’s easy:
wes.streeting.mp@parliament.uk
Nice idea, but he won’t take any notice unless you are one of his constituents.
LOL naive, if you think they listen to constituents.
They occasionally pretend to – mainly when there’s a general election looming.
I’ll believe the scamdemic is over when the BBC, Labour etc., recant their deliberate fear propaganda.
Those in the know deserve jail time. Tim Davie “Our job is to prevent disinformation”. An utter bastard.
I wrote to them over 18 months ago, politely saying they had blood on their hands – but to my amazement I never received a coherent response – and, they just carried on regardless!
On a more serious note it would be very interesting to know precisely how many similar complaints they have received thus far.
And, I wonder how many viewers they’ve lost in the last two years.
Only anecdotal, but around half the people I know have seen through them.
At least two, since I also wrote to Tim Davie. However, I’m still waiting for a reply.
As an old socialist myself and ex member of the Labour Party I can honestly say that a Labour government would have been far worse during Covid than the incompetent, sleazy Tories.
Politically they are all as bad as each other on freedoms and civil liberties both of which they would throw out the window on the dodgy science on Covid and Climate Change.
There needs to be a pragmatic libertarian political party that we can vote for and I don’t care whether it’s left or right as long as they are independent of the Global Elite and put people first.
Cigarette paper width between liberals on the right & liberals on the left, if the trade descriptions Act still existed we could sue both parties conservative & labour for false advertising.
Oddly enough, I think it might have been over quickly, since, in opposition, the Cons would have pushed their pseudo-conservative principles as it would have helped their popularity to oppose – something which Labour could never do!
Ha ha ha ……… Nothing but smoke and mirrors. Even saying that the nation have to thank Labour for Plan B measures being implemented that have kept ‘cases’ under control! What a shower of unbelievably disingenuous creatures. Labour = Lockdown Party. Avoid.
Off topic, but I think it’s time to call face masks/covering by the medieval name “nosegays”. They thought that pleasant smells warded of the plague, just like people think a face mask stops viruses. They were about as affective as face masks, so I’ll call them “nosegays”, something that bedwetters wear.
Get cancelled for that! The Wokehounds will be scenting blood.
Smelly Melly suggests that a 0.1 micron coronavirus can waltz hand-in-hand with its mates through masks, the majority of which have 3 micron spaces between their filtering fibres!
Outrageous.
Does Smelly Melly not know that COVID-19 has signed up to the Geneva Convention. The virus does not attack those that are marked with a dust masks, just like combatants in war don’t attack buildings or vehicles marked with a red cross.
Please read the MSM and educate yourself
One, more for data geeks, Deanna McLeod | Medical Peer-Review Publications Expert (1hr28mins) she does ramble a bit for the first 10 mins, but stick with it, it gets interesting when she starts her presentation.
Yes, quite a good talk. Excellent – but damning – safety data. Seems to confirm Prof Norman Fenton’s findings. If anyone on this forum has access to other incriminating data, make sure to send it to Reiner Fuellmich.
At the moment, I think we could raise enough tax revenue to run the UK for a year or so by fining the scumbags who have imposed this disaster and misery on us and possibly seizing their assets, e.g. large country houses in Surrey.
Legally, I understand that’s it’s easier to impose fines or civil penalties for malpractice than it is to prove criminal conduct. We all like to send bad people to prison, but if you can’t prove beyond reasonable doubt that a crime was committed, you have to settle for huge fines.
The fines might bankrupt the bastards. Who cares? Let them live on Universal Credit in a council flat.
Powerful words from one of the few Labour MPs to consistently speak out and vote against repressive lockdown measures and vaccine passports throughout the plandemic.
*checks Hansard*
Oh, right.
War criminal Blair, Ladbrokes and Betfred were not the only multi-millionaire outfits that almost choked themselves glugging from the furlough trough. The furlough scheme was designed by partners of these thieves, and there is no group that’s thicker than a group of thieves.
One reason for the COVID-19 plandemic was to crush and erase the middle class. Thus, from the Cabal’s perspective, it would have been ridiculous to give self-employed people with small to medium business furlough payments. These people need to be crushed and bankrupted, because Amazon and other internet giants are earmarked to completely control the consumer and services market.
The BLM and Antifa riots in the US throughout 2020 was a perfect example of how the Cabal crushes and bankrupts the middle classes and self-employed business owners.
In the US cities where riots took place about 60% of ethnically owned businesses were destroyed. Streets that were lined with ethnically owned stores and businesses that served the local communities were looted and burned down. The burners and looters were mostly people from the local area who were spurred-on by paid Antifa agitators from other parts of the country.
These businesses and traders won’t be reopening. Never. The owners haven’t got a leg to stand on in regards getting redress through legal action, because those they attempt to sue will, with a smirk on their faces, point out that their businesses were looted, burned and destroyed by people from their own ethnic communities – basically, by their own kinfolk.
The smirkers will be correct in pointing this out; the majority of the looters and burners were members of the local communities. The 2020 riots in the US were a very good example of the modern version of divide and conquer.
In 2017 in the US, laws were passed that made it very financially advantageous for people to invest in and develop rundown areas of cities. Also at this time, the internet marketing giants wanted new sites for warehouses in cities, and they also wanted these new sites to be near consumers.
Thus, the internet giants paid the MSM to exaggerate racial tensions, and paid Antifa to go in on the ground and recruit/agitate local communities into violence – some Antifa members were/are paid something in the region of $15 an hour. BLM members got paid by the goods they looted from stores.
Now entire ethnically owned business sections of US cities lay in ruins. The stores and businesses burned and closed and the owner’s bankrupt and ashamed that it was essentially their own people that did this to them.
The internet marketing giants created the “run-down” areas they wanted to “develop”. Now they can go in and buy up entire commercial sections of cities for a pittance because they’ll be buying it from their friends in the banking world. And the icing on the cake will be that they can, due to the 2017 laws, make massive tax savings by doing so.
Also, in this process, the internet giants have created an entirely new demographic of consumers for themselves. The communities which the destroyed ethnically owned stores and businesses used to serve will still need to buy goods and everyday essentials. They can now do so online from the giant warehouse that has just been constructed where their local shops and mini-markets used to be.
The only upshot for these ethnic communities will be that their neighbourhoods will be more peaceful. The thugs that use looting as a means to attain electrical goods and the latest fashions will not have any success in raiding an Amazon warehouse.
While the civilian police in the US let Antifa and BLM do whatever they’d liked, Amazon’s security personnel certainly will not.
I doubt many understand in such depth what is really going on but that is a superb, shorthand explanation.
Thanks for posting.
I won’t waste time or energy on this political pygmy or his pathetic, shameless comments about lockdowns.
The revealing phrase from the speech is this:
“Our best defence against new variants is to play our part in vaccinating the world. None of us are safe until all of us are safe.”
We must do everything possible to keep this dangerous, irrational party of bedwetting zealots from power.
That’s the Klaus Schwab phrase: None of us are safe until all of us are safe …
He’s the lovely man who wants to microchip all human beings by 2026. (Pardon me while I throw up.)
Anyone reading this and who’s in Ilford might like to ask Streeting to confirm that the Labour party policy is cattle tags for everybody.
‘None if us is safe till all of us are safe.’
Manifest nonsense.
End of.
What puts the lie to all that he says is:
Our best defence against new variants is to play our part in vaccinating the world. None of us are safe until all of us are safe.”
Clearly he has not even taken the time or trouble to read up on the injections which as we all know, not only don’t work, they kill and maim.
I’m a bloody site’ safer without the gunk thanks.
Despicable. Oxygen thief.
None of us are safe until all of us are safe.
Eowwww! Gobbledygook like that is worse than the sound of fingernails scraping a blackboard.
Except for rebel MPs, the Labour party are as liable for murder charges as the Tories and many corporate media outlets – too little far too late. Their ongoing support for mass medical experimentation is enough for them to be all put away for life in my book.
In a way, you could say that they are worse. They and MSM should have used their positions to rein this runaway stagecoach back, but instead they relentlessly and insanely just kept whiping the horses.
Hmm, how the rats are deserting the sinking ship.
When have I heard this before? Ah yes, 1997. Liar Bliar was promising total fairness, and the moon on a stick. When he was elected, the first thing he did was introduce tuition fees.
I’d like to thank rishi for destroying my business, pushing up house prices by 20% and removing the interest income on my savings which I was planned to use to buy a ,now more expensive, house. Furthermore, I’m sure everyone is enjoying the 1970’s rip roaring inflation.
Wes Streeting? This Wes Streeting? Mr consistency?
https://twitter.com/TomDRogers1/status/1152179828390584322/photo/1
Yoikes!
Here’s another example of Wes Streeting’s moral consistency.
But keep wearing the masks and getting the “vaccines” and endless boosters. And don’t fret that Labour will abandon the Vaccine Passports, because they most certainly won’t.
The look of Keir Starmer’s gob and that image of him kneeling in worship of Antifa and BLM rioters and looters tell us he’d never have the nerve to betray the Cabal. He was Director of Public Prosecutions and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service, yet sometimes gives the impression he could not navigate a crossword in a child’s Christmas annual.
Perhaps he owes the Cabal, as they are very well known to target their puppets at an early age and feather their path through education, then the private sector and onwards into the public domain?
Would it be possible that the Cabal’s agents might target a young man that has just entered university? Then play on his inherent arrogance and make him feel important; then slip something into his drink; and set him up naked in bed with a youth of the same sex that looks underage?
Then hold this over him for the rest of his life: Tell him, do as we say or lose your status in life, bring disgrace upon your parents and family and possibly even go to prison for child abuse.
Is this far-fetched? Well, it looks like Prince Andrew made a new very best friend in the US. And it also looks like this new VBF recorded what Andrew assumed would be intimate moments with young ladies (maybe even young boys) in his VBF’s homes and on his island.
Anyway, back to the masks, gene serums, boosters and Vaccine Passports. Don’t worry, partake in all of these. You see, COVID-19 has been signed up to the Geneva Convention.
In future the virus will not attack people that are marked with dust masks, gene serums, boosters and Vaccine Passports. It will be just like the way that combatants in war don’t attack buildings or vehicles marked with a red cross.
Kweer Schwarber is a globalist piece of shit, a member of the trilateral commission.
Very much like Adam Sandler’s car?
Andrew comes across as a prat, but that doesn’t mean to say allegations made by a money digging former prostitute who introduced young girls to Epstein for cash herself are true.
Comment no 101, same as the other 100?
We told you so! WTF took you so long? And no, we swill still not forgive and forget, you will be held responsible, too!!!
All in bold print? That’s shouting and roaring. Which will make people feel unsafe in their safe spaces.
DON’T SHOUT AND ROAR.
What damage and hurt will this do to progressives that accidentally clinks the Daily Sceptic link? It’s immeasurable.
You!
Well, I am angry. So what if a person who stumbles across this site and my comment, the only one shouting and roaring, and dismisses me as an idiot. Most likely they will read the other 100 comments, which are more tame, and forget about me.
Baby Please Don’t Go
While I welcome increasing recognition that lockdowns are pointless and damaging, I think we should not be celebrating this too much. For me Lockdowns are something of a red herring. What is of vastly greater significance are the concepts of mandatory medical intervention linked to digital records which in turn are used to deny rights and services to individuals or groups.
General Lockdowns are irrelevant when a government has the power to control people at an individual level. There are ways round general lockdowns including outright defiance of them. You can’t defy a vaccine once it is in your body. You can’t have it shoved into you on a Monday and decide not to go along with it on a Tuesday.
Similarly, once you have been given a digital ID (directly as a result of mandated medical treatment) and your life is contingent on it for everything from work to transport to entering a shop, lockdown in general is meaningless. If you fail to follow orders you are at constant risk of being individually cancelled or locked down – call it what you will.
I see a big danger in the likes of Labour saying lockdowns don’t work – we know that – but this will simply be used as justification to say we need mandatory vaccination linked to digital ID so that the “irresponsible” can be prevented from doing harm to the good, righteous and compliant masses.
Don’t let’s kid ourselves or fall for the sucker punch. What we have to fight tooth and nail is mandatory medical interventions (of any sort) linked to digital ID.
I won’t begin to feel even remotely comfortable until all forms of vaccine passport / digital ID are legally outlawed along with legislation that will prevent any form of mandatory medical treatment under ANY circumstances. The latter including mandating by stealth through any form of coercion or denial of rights. Some will say existing law does this but it is clear that in practice it does not. I also realise that legislation can be changed but strengthening the law against mandatory medical treatment would, IMHO, go a long way to preventing the sort of tyranny being faced in this country and many others.
Before anyone says we don’t have mandatory vaccination in the UK – we do – for social care and health workers and by default for many others where it is being mandated by employers without the government batting an eye lid. These are the problems – not general lockdowns.
Is it not concerning that labours apparent U-turn on lockdown comes just days after Javid seemed to say vaxports are no longer necessary?.
What other sneaky ways will they use to introduce CCP style Social Credit when they think we are not looking?
Why did they back Boris with every stupid lockdown, and every daft rule change then? Next they will say they are not playing politics, again!
Starmer called for lockdowns, he didn’t just back them. Next we’ll have Piers Morgan saying he couldn’t stand people calling others Covidiots.
Anyone who believes another group of paid idiots can solve this problem is seriously deluding themselves. The sooner we realise that only one person that can save us from this stupidity the better. Who is this person……..you. People everywhere must now question deception wherever it is found.
The classic lyric from Bob Dylan’s ‘Positively 4th Street’ comes to mind:-
“You’ve got a lot of nerve – you just want to be on the side that’s winning”
And our side is winning – but there’s a long, hard road yet to travel.
as we all know.
Blatantly opportunist.
Just because the writing may be on the wall for Boris and his henchmen does not mean the sham opposition can muscle in on a flimsy promise.
Whatever the government decided – masking – vaxxing – lockdown – Labour, just like their MSM comrades, just whined about not doing it sooner or harsher.
Absolute hypocrisy.
Walk the talk and repeal every emergency power 0900 Monday morning.
Well Liebour party…what a shower of shite you are.
Now that your trying to curry favour with an indoctrinated populace that’s starting to waken to the fact that big government is a pernicious cancer! Why not do the right thing and call for the immediate repeal of the Coronavirus Act!
What a sly, sanctimonious prig – just like Starmer! This is just semantics about “lockdown”. Their way to keep us out of lockdown will be masks, jabs, passes, and all the rest of the paraphernalia just short of something called “lockdown”.
Do us a favour Streeting – just fuck off and leave us alone!
How dare the little shit start pretending he’s anti-lockdown now. He’s up to his neck in lockdown, along with all the rest of his party, damn their blood.
Depressing to see the old mantra “nobody’s safe til everyone’s safe” and “we’ve got to vaccinate the world”. And to see that Wes Streeting’s comments go just far enough to try and make political capital but nowhere near acknowledging that we now need to go back to proper normal. However, I think Labour are starting to think that the tide is turning, more and more people are beginning to question the madness, and they hope to be the party that appears to preside over a change that would have happened anyway
Labour are shameless opportunists. They have a cheek claiming they’re against lockdowns, as they own lockdown as much as the Tories having voted in favour of every restriction of our liberties, never raising any objections. In fact they were always calling for faster, harder, and longer lockdowns, so (as we see in Wales) they would have locked down more.
The same way we have learned to live with fat?
Save RNHS! Compulsory dieting! It’s for the good of society!
Glorifying Obesity And Increasing Health Risks.
That’s right, pretend you haven’t been told all of this for two full years.
‘What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive’, fits nicely with the covid agenda
It’s not a ‘surrender’. It’s a continuation – tacking to mimic the shifts that the Tories are having to make, which has been the policy all along.
Their idea of learning to live with the virus is keep mass testing the healthy and vaccinate the world as nobody is safe until everybody is safe, IOW, they may be backpedalling on lockdowns (obviously, they’re not backpedalling on masks — the unions still want them forced onto everyone) at the moment, but their core standpoint is still This most horrible virus is going to kill everyone unless we …
Labour is not a party, especially not a party concerned with the well-being of the working class and the less well-off, it’s a gang of heart-, conscience- and compassionless monsters whose only goal is to turn the UK into a mirror image of China.
Once the most vulnerable cohorts had been jabbed, by their own (prior) rationale for any sort of social restrictions, masking, travel bans, etc. was totally gone.
But that didn’t stop them from reimposing masks, etc.
The problem, as I see it today, is that so many people seem voluntarily to be wearing masks, that it seems highly likely as if they will continue to be required, even beyond the January 26th date.
This is just my opinion, but Boris Johnson really has only himself to blame for the issue about the Number 10 drinking party. If we here in England had been happily and freely going about our business since June, then I think a lot of the anger at BoJo’s apparent hypocrisy would have never materialised.
Lastly: Again my opinion, but I don’t think anyone should expect that a Johnson replacement, from any party, is going to be any more easy handed when it comes to covid restrictions.
Boris Johnson really has only himself to blame for the issue about the Number 10 drinking party.
This is from almost 2 years ago (2020). Don’t you think it’s a bit strange that this makes headlines now, ie, at a time when most of Europe is under draconian corona restrictions Johnson kept England free of, with the so-called devolved governments, the so-called opposition and the so-called experts all yearning for that to be changed?
Johnson hasn’t been following the The pandemic could be ended in 2022 if 70% of the population of the world had been vaccinated WHO script, which essentially calls for 2022 to be exactly like 2021 to be exactly like March – December 2020. IMO, this is a pretty transparent attempt to get rid of him. His would-be successors would need to make a case with the members of Tory party in order to get the post, not with the general public. I think it’s not unreasonable to assume that a Horrors of the pandemic and what I want to do about it! strategy may succeed there. After all, that’s mostly economically inactive people belonging to so-called vulnerable groups.
Yes, if Kim Jong-Johnson hadn’t imposed the rules, he would never have broken them.
If science can’t be questioned it’s not science anymore. It’s propaganda. They want to rip on people for taking Ivermectin. I researched and saw the evidence on the internet. Research papers are on the internet for those who wants to see. Top respected world doctors are being under defamation by MSM and vaccine manufacturers. I won’t back down recommeding IVM. You can get yours by visiting https://ivmpharmacy.com
How dare Wes Streeting take this stance. Starker and Labour MPs voted for the maintenance of restrictions recently, at every turn Starter clamoured for tighter and more Draconian restrictions including school closures. Throughout he has been in thrall to witless and unbalanced. How dare he now raise the issue of small businesses that have gone under because of the restrictions. He never opposed anything in Parliament. It was Tory MPs who raised these issues. Starter needs to go.
Get lost, Comrade Streeting, you are saying this because you’ve been rumbled, it’s obvious you know lockdown was for show.
The oily Streeting character did add a caveat that he would vote for other restrictions needed ( whenever)…. they can go right to the edge of locking down regionally (as in 2020) or nationally. What is this rowing back for on both sides all of a sudden? It jars, it seems out of synch with policy just a month ago. What is afoot behind the scenes…this multi – Act tragedy is not over.
Trying to be all things to all men, probably.
Labour non-entities trailing along in disappointment – who cares?
Labour MPs beyond contempt. Any more Chinese spies discovered waving money at them yet?
( I hop e the Chinese charge extra for their ‘honey traps lookin at the stste of Labour Males!
I agree I just hate the whole mask , hand sanitizer thing it ruins every human experience that is part of the plan I suppose it is pure Fucking Evil, I wore a mask the first six days then said no more dehumanising myself it felt stuffy and uncomfortable So I wore a thin scarf from Primark over my face, then got a Lanyard from Etsy, saying I have a hidden disability, I am Exempt now I go on buses trains barefaced without a Lanyard. I just say I am Exempt no one has questioned me till in Brixton at a market pop up recently Where’s your mask I said I am Exempt it was fine no more questions asked I have never been questioned I do not know why but I have no problems regarding not wearing one in shops cafes supermarkets.
I do think Perspex screens are the worst they just make it seem like you should stand back or not get too close to stuff I mean I still have them in my local Starbucks, I know I just love their vegan food and their coffee is one of my favourites not too sweet a oat mocha not too bitter big business hard to find a independent vegan coffee place well at the posh bit of Haringey Muswell Hill and my local organic coffee cafe Music and Beans , it is very much just like pointless I cannot hear them , they cannot hear me , I have to shout or raise my voice a bit higher so they hear me I hardly go in too places with Pit in the track and trace app or tables or having masked staff and all mask signs at the front I now can’t bother I have not gone for about six months or more for that reason.
I feel I want to support my local businesses as much as possible but it is horrible and so depressing to see masked people it makes my heart break I cry alone at night but many places I use to enjoy going shopping monthly with friends, too Brentcross or Westfield looking at Bershka, Primark, well a bookshop I do not buy flashy crazy high designer only when it comes to my trainers Adidas, Nike, Puma sports Direct Jd Sports I have shopped there . I went recently to Brentcross it was well firstly I had not been for about five years and new look has gone Topshop went burst , then as we got going everyone was masked except some polish people unusually all the staff were wearing face nappies , .
I found it less enjoyable and more stressful I went on New Years Eve not much fear lots of families lots of children and couples all masked , it is also after July 19th small businesses still kept the QR code to login your name details, and then asking you to wear a mask even a sign saying Masks are Mandatory now wear one no unless exempt it was in very tiny letters, and even a audiovoice telling you masks are now mandatory so depressing, it ruined the whole shopping experience of relaxation and retail therapy all the staff were masked in nearly every shop and looking at me and my friends very closely us being unmasked. I thought it meant no masks on July 19th for good or I saw today they still advised people to wear them in crowded places or on transport, so it never went away ,
I mean I don’t know but it will not end people keep complying though I do not think many people know about the great reset or think Masks will be gone by January 26th , I still find it amazing the amount of people who wear masks in the open air I mean will they get a flu like illness in the open air , or in their car for fucks sake .
I went out today again monthly walk with friends and some people we went to a walk about 1/2 miles it was nice to go out though seeing so many shoppers or people with Mac shopping bags , and just other designer shops all in their leopard print masks in the fresh air all very virtual signalling from the Middle and upper classes this was in Covent Garden a walk through Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden still another good day getting out the house going to a Wetherspoons no QR code not any staff wearing face masks except Perspex screens , I think there was still in Wetherspoons near till the till after July 19th most Wetherspoons got rid of them plastic horrible screens my local one in Wood Green did then brought it back I despair they are everywhere Primark charity shops small independent cafes ,
I can’t take anymore of this I don’t have children or a partner yet a nice maskless guy I want to emigrate I was looking at Florida but cannot get in without the poison I work in a supermarket I might give American dating a go , I want to be in a relationship it has been over six years , masked men are everywhere .
Why do you post this thoughtful and interesting commentary here where nobody will read it?
Far better to put it at the start of Monday am Roundup which has just been published where it will receive much more well deserved attention and, perhaps, some responses.
Not too late to copy it in there now.
1970s-80s Crouch Ender before it got ruined by yuppies. Pre-Starbucks even !
Why I mean I am sorry my nails are long I thought anyone decent anti lockdown human could post I do not always see perfect grammar or full stops reading the posts, never mind . I am very anti lockdown and anti masks I will stick to Conservative Woman I was making my point it ending up too long I was speaking about how masks and hand sanitizers ruin shopping going out doing normal things with friends having coffee in cafes for instance sorry I do not like looking stupid , I think it might need improving the punctuality but this is not the Daily Telegraph I do forgot to mention I hate going to places QR codes on the tables most businesses still do near me and is have been to 9 anti lockdown mandatory vaccine demos I am allowed to post here , I am not a troll I have read PseudoPandemic.
Sorry for the long essay I hope people wake up everyday to the evil that has happened never in my life have a tyrannical Government been so evil they have killed so many with their communist lockdowns and thousands in carehomes of depression not letting healthy old people have vitamin D or still see their relatives, Labour Conservative Lib Dem I doubt much better the whole political system needs to be overthrown so Conservative do not get in ever again or Labour , we need Reform UK in power .
If only there was a clear leader in opposition to YouTube let alone a mainstream political party to campaign for us against all of those currently representing us in Westminster.
Sorry thanks for the comment I made a mistake I am not trolling just or more less wanted to write down what I thought of this shitshow no more polite words to say some confession but I will post not too late again or not too long .
Who needs lockdowns when you can have “preventative healthcare” delivered at the point of a needle via endless gene therapy treatments?
Anyone who imagines Sir Keir Starmer would be any less a globalist minion than jerk-off Johnson needs only riffle through a list of the latter’s Trilateral Commission buddies.
So the “I was a partisan too” begins.
Perhaps they’ve noticed that it’s membership is falling; I wonder why.
This country better abandon all mandates. If they don’t the Uk is next to fall.
Blimey!!
These past two years Labour have been cheerleaders for lockdown, circuit breakers, mask wearing and test and trace. All futile measures which did nothing to stem the spread of the virus and led only to spiralling debt, bankruptcies and unemployment especially among the groups that Labour claim to represent. Would more jobs have been saved if Labour had been in power? I do not think so. No credit goes to any of the political parties though. As Churchill put it, they have sown the wind, soon they will reap the whirlwind.
So, does Wes Streeting agree that we should never have locked down in the first place?
Does he agree that all the other restrictions were provably a total waste of time and money?
Does he now agree that focused protection and early stage treatment were the correct responses, and would have achieved a far far better outcome?
Does he now agree that effectively shutting the NHS was a terrible mistake?
Here’s a longer list of govt beliefs that he may find were erroneous…
• That masks are effective
• That people who are asymptomatic can transmit
• That asymptomatic transmission was a pandemic driver
• That the vaccines are “safe and effective”
• That it was just “3 weeks to flatten the curve”
• That the NHS was far more important to ‘save’ than the people it treats
• That you just needed 1 vaccine shot
• That you only needed a 2nd vaccine shot
• That you only now need to have a ‘booster’ (and all the subsequent ones no doubt)
• That the existing vaccines (boosters) are effective against Omicron
• That there was no conflict of interest between Big Pharma, government advisers and uber organisations and individuals such as WEF and Bill Gates
• That washing hands whilst singing Happy Birthday was a rational response to a ‘lethal’ virus
• That the virus came from nature (bats)
• That the vaccines are fully tested
• That the vaccines are approved
• That full information about the vaccines and their side effects is available to enable fully informed consent
• That there are no early stage safe and effective (and cheap) therapeutic treatment alternatives to the vaccines
• That the virus is transmitted by surface contact
• That lockdowns work
• That everyone is equally and very susceptible to the virus
• That we can eliminate the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the zero-covid policy)
• That vaccines are more effective and longer lasting than natural immunity
• That vaccines protected you from the virus
• That vaccines are a ‘one size fits all’ solution
• That the Great Barrington Declaration was dangerous nonsense
• That only SAGE are the ‘experts’
• That computer models were good predictors of the virus trajectory
• That the computer models, e.g. from Imperial College, were even vaguely correct
• That the vaccinated are safe in society
• That health based discrimination is a good thing, aka: vaccine passports, and will control the spread
• That the unvaccinated are a danger to society
• That hospitals have never been stressed during winter before
• That closing schools for so long was necessary
• That children were effective human shields for the elderly
• That forcing children to suffer ‘protections’ (masks, social isolation, vaccines) is effective or kind
• That any or all of the responses has caused any virus wave to decline
• That no preventative measures, e.g. vitamin D, are worthwhile
• That paracetamol and ventilators (forced oxygen) were effective treatments
• That govt was “following the science”
And the churches have supported this decimation of society all the way through. They have not lifted a finger or voice against it.
so labour has seen the signs on the wall and has decided to change position before they disappear into oblivion completely.
now they are trying to come out of this as the champions of reason?
the sanctimonious hypocrites!
“There is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth”(even if he is a Labour MP, 22 months too late, after 3 useless lockdoowns and all the financial, educational, social and mental damage he and his kind have done to the whole world. Let’s hope we get some straight speaking and truth from the proposed public enquiry(but I’m not holding my breath- it will be a fudge, as always)
He said: ‘Without Labour, sensible Plan B measures wouldn’t have happened and we wouldn’t be enjoying the new year without the threat of new restrictions.’
IOW, he claims that the vaccine assport has caused the decline in cases and wrongly takes credit for the government not imposing stricter measures before the new year despite these were demanded by experts, union leaders and Labour MPs alike. That’s not a sinner who repents. Rather someone who realized he had put his money on the wrong horse this time, who’s now in damage control mode and hopes his plans will work out better next time.
And then comes, of course
Our best defence against new variants is to play our part in vaccinating the world. None of us are safe until all of us are safe.
Let these guys come into control of anything, find yourself with a raft of sensible measures to limit the spread of the virus, say vaccine assports extended to hospitality and shops considered to sell luxuries like socks and underpants, mandatory masking everywhere, hospitality curfews etc the next morning. There’s an international cause driven by the WHO (which is – in turn – driven by China and the US woke left) and Labour will happily sell king, country and the English people in order to help with that.
