Italy Makes Covid ‘Green Pass’ Mandatory for All Workers

by Michael Curzon
17 September 2021 11:42 AM

The Italian Government will force all workers – both in the public and the private sectors – to have a ‘Green Pass’ proving that they have either been vaccinated, tested or recently recovered from Covid. Those who don’t comply could have their pay stopped after five days and businesses that don’t check passes will be heavily punished. BBC News has the story.

The measure, due to come into force on October 15th, aims to boost vaccinations in a country that has been badly hit by the virus.

Green Pass certificates for Covid, provided both digitally and on paper, are already required to access Italian train stations, cinemas, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools.

School staff are also required to show a pass and some teachers have reportedly been turned away from work.

On Thursday, the Italian Government approved a new law to extend the requirements to all workplaces and employees across all sectors, including the self-employed.

Businesses and staff could face fines of up to €1,500 (£1,280) if people are found to be working without a valid Green Pass.

Announcing the decision, Health Minister Roberto Speranza said the new measures would improve safety and “make our vaccination campaign even stronger”.

“The implementation of a pass such as the one we are bringing into force with this decree will, we are certain, help us push forward this vaccination campaign,” he said.

Despite a vocal anti-vaccination minority, Italians have broadly backed the Government’s vaccination campaign.

Nearly 65% of Italians have now been fully vaccinated, but infections have been rising, driven by the Delta variant.

We followed Italy’s lead on locking down. It’s not inconceivable that we could do the same on Covid passes.

The BBC News report is worth reading in full.

Everything that is said on this site is monitored by the security services.
Just dont give TY money, he is not a charity (a bit like the Guardian asking for money to maintain its high journalistic standards. That filthy organ is a mouthpiece for the deep state too.)

I used to know someone who ran the IT for a large ME/CFS website with very active international forums, and the site was monitored day and night by two Whitehall IP addresses.

Why? because there is a link between CFS/ME, vaccines and Gulf War syndrome, and what the government and corporates did to deprive the Gulf veterans of compensation for injuries suffered during military service.

Me neither; don’t agree with the idiot venting comment, tad too self abusing, but if you do not consider that the “security services” monitor telegraphic messages, emails etc they have had this capacity since WWI. Wireless monitoring predated GCHQ and with Menwith Hill they would appear to be fully engaged; as I have mentioned previously I do not believe they struggle with PGP/WhatsApp either….

The strong impression I get is that TY and the team are fighting the “agenda” (if there even is one) with everything they’ve got by popularizing a counter-narrative – always an important element of any functioning democracy.
You’re right about the venting frustration thing, and perhaps also this site probably is being monitored by various agencies like perhaps SPI-B to get an idea of what kinds of ideas are going around among those who challenge the government.
But I don’t think that is intentionally the case on the part of the website’s authors. However, it’s probably a reason to stay vigilant to any targeted attack on the critics that may come our way, possibly in the form of attempts in the commentariat to debunk the specific theories and proposals outlined here, and propaganda-like smears and ad-hominem attacks.

There is clearly a concerted effort to make criticism of the official line concerning government action look like heresy and I’m sure those lockdown zealots on a mission to round up the heretics will take things out of context from sceptical material and use them as ammunition.

Depends a bit on age and co-morbidities. Ideally, we should wait until there are some good treatments for it before catching it.

But ALL treatments are being actively suppressed in order to pressure people to get teh vaccine…

yes, like all colds. I’m thinking about the younger workers being forced out of society by the green pass. They are pretty much zero risk but they can judge it for themselves. I was glad to get it (in my 50s) unjabbed and my wife is happy I gave it to her. We are done and dusted

You’d think, but that’s not quite so. Furthermore, why would they give you such an easy out? I would think that any exemption to vaccination will be designed in such a way as to make the person’s life as miserable as possible, since their goal is to vaccinate people rather than ensure people’s health.

I thought so to until my friend’s husband (fit healthy early 50s) died a week ago. Self treated at home incl 5d of ivermectin, zn, C, D3, but still felt terrible. Called GP day 12 as blood O2 dropped, she said not an emergency. Taken into ICU that night. Pure O2 didn’t help. Put on ventilator – dead by morning. His wife was also very poorly with it. 8 year old child zero symptoms. I had it too in June, and had a week of fever, exhaustion, metallic taste, no appetite, then fine (I nebulised colloidal silver daily during symptoms to protect my lungs) . This death has shaken me. For some people it is very serious, but it would be much less so if the FLCCC’s treatment protocols were universally offered! It’s shocking that the NHS still ignores them.

I’m so sorry, this disease is so random. I would be classed as having a co-morbidity and I take an imunosupressing drug. I also took 5 days of Ivermectin, zinc, VitD etc..Dr prescribed antibiotics for the cough. I was about 7 days ill and took another 2 weeks to feel like my lungs were back to normal. The worst part was the anxiety created by the fearmongering.

“Some shady unknown outfit behind the scenes” is in charge. It’s called the Establishment.

The way it works is that in society ambitious people push to get the the top. At the top you find a host of other ambitious people, who realise that it’s in their best interests to stick together and keep other competitors out. So there is an unspoken group at the top who run things, and prefer to remain out of teh limelight…

The pay is not stopped for 5 days. After 5 days they can be barred from receiving payment (and entering workplace) indefinitely (or until they are vaccinated, I suppose). It’s not technically a lie. They don’t claim that infections are rising, only that they did rise in the past. Don’t agree.

Have been rising means were rising in the past and continue to do so.
Rose would mean it happened in the past but no longer are.
Had been rising would also put the rising entirely in the past.

There is no normal interpretation of ‘have been rising” that suggests the rising happened in the past and is no longer rising. The phrase suggests 100% that it is happening now.

‘Have been rising’ implies the past tense to me:
I have been going to the gym for 20 years but now I’ve stopped as I’m too knackered when I wake up in the morning.
I have been going to the gym for 20 years and I intend to keep doing it until I drop dead.
The ‘have been’ is in the past but gives no indication of what is happening in the present or may in the future.
Covid cases have been rising but now they’ve stopped.
or
Covid cases have been rising but now they’re going absolutely ballistic.

Covid cases have been rising is only partical information and not sufficient to reach a conclusion.

When they’ve removed the unjabbed from the equation who are they going to blame?

After Draghi’s term as ECB President ended in 2019, he initially returned to private life. On 3 February 2021, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Draghi was invited by Italian PresidentSergio Mattarella to form a government of national unity, following the resignation of Giuseppe Conte.[14][15][16] After successful negotiations with parties including the League, the Five Star Movement, the Democratic Party and Forza Italia, Draghi was sworn in as Prime Minister on 13 February, pledging to oversee effective implementation of COVID-19 economic stimulus.[17]

It’s in no sense fascist as it’s (among other things) not corporatist: Draghi’s government is based on some coalition in an elected parliament.

NB: This is not supposed to imply that it’s somehow morally superior over fascism which it certainly isn’t.

Only just realised it is from the BBC and therefore completely and utterly pointless. The only institution which lies on a more regular and official basis is this Government. The real question remains “Why are they so desperate to inject us all?”.

That has been obvious since around the end of March 2020. They were so concerned about our health they closed the hospitals and refused to use any treatments on people such as Ivermectin.

It’s just a cock up. None of them are clever enough to implement a global tyranny based on a virus with a recovery rate of above 99% (before and after vaccines were introduced).

It’s just a cock up that the smiling assassins jesting around maskless in Cornwall at the G7 have just happened to implement the same policies one after another in sequence around the world).

It’s just a cock up that the only actual likely policy to be implemented in the UK this winter is the one which follows the rest of the previously free Western liberal democracies’ descent into fascism

Honestly, it’s just a cock up….

Nothing to see here.

As mentioned above, just like with the lockdowns Italy might be the ‘test case’ for this. Remember that quote from Pants Down saying words to the effect of ‘we didn’t think we could get away with CCP style lockdowns in liberal democracies but then the Italians went along with it’ which basically opened the floodgates in the Western world. To me I think this is a really pertinent fact and we need to be really mindful of one European country ‘getting away with it’ showing the other fascist dictator fucks that their citizens will probably go along with it too which basically green lights the whole thing. I pray the Italians can mount some good pushback to this otherwise we’re all fucked. Forza!

What will Italy do when the numbers still continue to go up because the not-vaccines do not prevent you catching or passing on Covid? Start shooting people? Yellow Stars for the Vaccinated? Unclean painted on doors? End of the day when you persist with stupidity you end with stupidity. When Governments do stupidity you end up with dead people as we have already seen from NHS closures to the dead from not vaccines. Where does all this end?

What makes you think governments want this to end? Why would they? Almost limitless power without responsibility.

What will Italy do when the numbers go up? Who knows? Boosters, more tests, lockdowns, more masks, endless lies. Governments everywhere are able to do more or less any old rubbish, lie about it, and get away with it because of a compliant media and opposition and judiciary.

It’s not stupidity, it’s evil.

Wow. For the first time since March 2020, I am genuinely shocked by a news item.
I didn’t expect they would move this far this quickly.

I think this is the first country in the world to go this far. I wonder if it is a coincidence that it is also the first country that instituted national lockdowns and the first country to copy the initial China approach.

Is it a coincidence they are front runners on this too?

Yup, it’s a pretty dark day, one of the darkest yet. I’ve got lots of friends and family there. Most are jabbed covidians, but one is an employer and fervently anti vaxx coercion (funnily enough she was married to a pharma exec…). God knows what she’ll do. She’s not vaxxed herself and I can’t see her forcing her staff to get it. Maybe they will just have to take tests all the time, or pay for them and pretend they are negative. I don’t know what the testing process is there, whether they have a similar system to here where you can buy LFTs to take at home and post the results online but there’s no check you’ve actually done the test properly.

The staggering thing is that in just 18 months society has accepted that in order to participate in society you must prove your health status. I’m not sure that, aside from slavery, this isn’t the most totalitarian thing humanity has ever dreamt up.

Basically, if you don’t prove you don’t have covid (by a very arbitrary technocratically defined standard) you can rot.

Wow.

This is quite stunning however for most of us here not surprising. It is the plan, has been the plan and will be the plan. Total global digital control, controlling every aspect of life.
Covid-19 is just the beginning of course and countries are moving at different speeds, depending on vaccine uptake, resistance and propaganda uptake.
And as we know the Globalist leaders will not stop now, they want to reduce population in number and in spirit.
Never surrender, once we do its over forever.

They won’t stop and the sooner that people realise that the better. It will come down to control of everyday spending (no more fatty food for you this week, no more alcohol, definitely no more tobacco products). And for controlling travel (no more petrol for you this week, no more flying -you have used up your carbon quota). There are none so blind as those who cannot see! It never was about a virus.

That’s what I’ve been saying since March 2020. That this was not about a ‘virus’ but control of the people, at the same time relieving them of their money, not least by having to fork out for expensive PCR tests run by companies owned by the likes of Faisal of Halifax (RT Diagnostics) who give backhanders to those who give them permission to operate their scams.

Still, millions are still scared witless about this invisible virus, and have rushed to the ‘vaccines’ as their saviour, and they simply can’t bear to think that they have been conned. No, it can’t be…. the NHS…. hero nurses… must.. bang.. on… saucepan… it’s all the fault of the unvaccinated!

Of course this has all been arranged. Even the Queen was taking the piss in Cornwall at the G7 meeting, no face mask for her!

What seems to be the motive for governments to increase pressure to get injected is the need for them to remove as much as possible any control group which can be used in any legal action against them.
Plus the ‘go slow’ ( relative in this crazy rush) on Novavax and Valneva ‘vaccines’ is the desire to fulfill contractual obligation to Pfizer, which may also involve the exclusion of more conventional approaches in promotion of the mRNA technique which is going to be rolled out for all and every new treatment for all diseases.
So basically cover arse and take more bribes. Opportunistically of course use it all to cement the future bio-security fascist state.

Is this the Italian equivalent of holding Australia’s beer? Western nations are falling over themselves to be the most authoriarian as possible on COVID.

Does ‘The West’ even exist at this point, given most Western nations (aside from a few or sub-states/regions within them who are resisting) now act like Communist/fascist dictatorships?

Mussolini would be proud!

Having dithered for a while between the perfect storm and the conspiracy theory explanations for all this lunacy, the simultaneous ramping up of mandates in various places like the US, Aus, Italy makes it hard to deny that there is at least some global coordinating effort taking place.

They’re not just copying each other.

Can someone answer this question as it appears brain dead journalists will not ask the question,
An unvaccinated person returning from abroad must take a test prior to travel to the UK, they then must isolate for up to 10 days. However it is known the unvaccinated is free of Covid at the time of travel.
The vaccinate person even though they can still catch and transmit the virus does not have to take the test prior to travel and in most cases does not have to isolate.
Is it not logical then that the Vaccinated person, is more of a threat of spreading the virus than the unvaccinated, as apart from the certificate to qualify them as an obedient serf, it provides less confidence with regards to their health status than the unvaccinated who has been through tests.
Surely this is absolute conclusive evidence that this vaccine passport is nothing about health and everything about segregation and control

Reply to  Hester

This is circumstantial evidence for the theory that the WHO is conducting an eradicate disease with non-sterilizing vaccine campaign: It is conjectured that vaccination reduces transmission somewhat. Hence, the more people are vaccinated, the more transmission gets reduced. Hence, it’s not absolutely impossible that eradication of Sars-CoV2 will succeed at about the time eradication of polio with a non-sterilzing vaccine has succeeded: In 50, 100, 150 or 200 years, God only knows and who’d want to know that, anyway.

Just keep on vaxxing! The magic must work some day!

So according to this story if correct, the Italian Government is as let us not forget a supposedly democratic operation, and a part of the EU. The Italian Government is going to deny, men and women the right to earn a wage in order to feed, home, and clothe their children, and if these Men and Women do not take this very unreliable, but still experimental product, the Italian Government will starve them.
The fact that if this is true, and is just another small news story is truly, truly shocking. Has the EU or other Democratic governments spoken out against what the Italian Government is doing to its own people? If not one can only conclude that the unvaccinated are as one politician in Italy said, are nothing better than sewer rats, and Europe condones this evil act.

All the signs for this was there. They mentioned multiple times but this site pretends when they don’t admit it directly then it cannot be true.

This thinking is obsolete. Between the lines are all the details we need.

CLEARLY there is an agreed upon plan between countries to act in the same way. Whether planned before or not I’ll let you guess.

I’m in Italy at the moment. I have a paper certificate of antibodies no jab, my husband has a paper certificate for 2 jabs. So far we haven’t had to use them as we have eaten outside in restaurants. We have been asking the owners if we were to need to eat inside would they accept these papers, most have said yes but some have said no. Both the customer and the restauranter face fines if they are seen to have no green pass.
