Royal College of GPs Opposed to Mandatory Vaccination

by Michael Curzon
22 April 2021 5:39 PM

Forcing health and social care staff to take a Covid vaccine would lead to “resentment and mistrust”, says the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), which boasts a membership of over 50,000 British GPs. The group “strongly urges” that all professionals (and members of the public) have a vaccine when offered, but says that making vaccination mandatory would be a step too far. Professor Martin Marshall, Chair of the RCGP, is quoted on GP Online:

While overall take-up [of the vaccine] is high, among groups where it is not, this needs to be identified, understood and addressed.

We would strongly urge all health and care professionals to have the Covid vaccine, unless there is a medical reason why they shouldn’t, and the vast majority have. Healthcare professionals are at high risk of contracting Covid and getting vaccinated will help protect themselves, their colleagues and their patients.

However, we don’t agree with making Covid vaccination mandatory as informed and educated choice about health interventions would be more beneficial long-term than enforcing them, which risks leading to resentment and mistrust.

The Covid vaccine is our most important tool in protecting people from the virus, and helping to get life back to normal. All vaccines that we’re currently using in the U.K. have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they are safe and effective – as such, we’d urge anyone who is offered a jab to have one.

GP Online has more on the current position of Britain’s vaccine rollout among healthcare professionals.

Polling by the BMA shows that the vast majority of GPs have now been vaccinated – 93% of GP partners, 86% of salaried GPs and 84% of locums have now received both doses of Covid vaccine.

However, increased vaccine hesitancy among some healthcare workers has been reported, and not only among staff working in care homes. In care homes, the Government says that just 53% of care homes for older adults currently meet the required level of vaccination coverage among staff and residents to protect against Covid outbreaks.

Earlier this month, the Royal College of Nursing, which has a membership of 450,000 registered nurses, also came out against mandatory Covid vaccination for health and social care staff, saying it would be wrong for staff to be “coerced” into having the vaccine. Professor Karol Sikora, former Chief of the Cancer Programme of the World Health Organisation, has also suggested that we stop focusing all of our attention on vaccine passports, mass testing and other “grand schemes” (of which mandatory vaccination is certainly one) and instead target our sights on the health-related issues which have been left behind during the Covid era.

Vaccine passports, mass testing and all these other grand schemes – the question we have to ask is, would Government attention be better spent tackling other issues?

Cancer crisis, fixing the isolation system, mental health problems?

I know which list I think is more pressing.

— Professor Karol Sikora (@ProfKarolSikora) April 22, 2021

Even if it is only because there may be a backlash if 20% of the healthy under 50’s (poll projection) – and by extension their friends and family)- are discriminated against for not having a covid jab.

Yeah, and if that’s their official attitude, what kind of freedom is there amongst GPs to report potential adverse events? The jabs are totally safe, apparently – there can’t be any. This is the most worrying sentence I’ve read this week.

As a GP, I can say I have been reporting as many adverse events as possible to the MHRA yellow card or advising patients to do the same. It is getting a bit difficult to keep up with them at the moment!
I am not aware of any pressure on GPs not to report adverse effects.

As a GP I receive daily reports of adverse effects of both the AZ and Pfizer Vaccines. Most of my colleagues see similar complaints daily. I am sorry to say most of my colleagues do not fill in MHRA yellow cards on line unless it is a major clotting event like a PE, CVA or DVT.
The reports received by the MHRA are truly the tip of the iceberg.

The most worrying recently have been patients post vaccination having odd neurological symptoms like a TIA ..

One of the most puzzling side effects is blindness, which is rare but what is the reason for this? Eye nerve inflammation? No explanation but this complication is unheard of in flu vaccination. So could also eye side effects really be further neurological side effect of the vaccine?

I am trying to figure out from her diagrams the stage of the optic pathway that is affected, ie retinal, optic nerve, or at what stage in the visual pathway in the brain, after the crossover at the chiasm. The image from each eye goes to left and right sides of visual cortex (imagine a vertical line down the centre of the visual field of each eye – both left visual fields go to right brain, and vice versa). So you can get a vision deficit in both eyes from one lesion in the visual cortex. She seems to have a chunk of visual field missing, but without knowing where she is foveating in the images, it is difficult to judge if lesion is on one or both sides of visual cortex.

A high proportion of GPs will already have had Covid. Yet such is the pressure, many have taken a jab which they know is unnecessary, because they can read the studies on immunity – and which they know carries unknown longterm risks. Crazy.
Good that the Royal College is against compulsory jabs, but better if they fought the pressure and told the truth.

You really think they all took the jab? They can have saline injected into them and fill out their own paperwork. Vaccine certified and absolutely no chance of side effects.

Until today, I’d found no example of “lockdown skeptics” in my state’s media coverage of COVID. Then, lo and behold, our state’s largest news organization actually published a guest op-ed I submitted. You could have knocked me over with a feather as this was probably the 10th letter or op-ed I’d submitted. ….And the piece is germane to this thread’s topic. In my piece, I argue that “science” isn’t even required to make a personal choice on whether one should (or should not) get a vaccine. All you need is statistics (and/or a simple understanding of mortality probabilities).

I do hope a few readers click on the article and perhaps even “share” it … as this might send an important message to these editors. This message? The sky won’t fall if you occasionally present a little “balance” in your coverage. Many readers might even appreciate being exposed to a “contrarian” point of view.

However, we don’t agree with making Covid vaccination mandatory…

Weasel words at best, and to be of any use the time to have said this was last November. The same goes for all other NHS professionals who are well aware of the scam, but continue to stick the needles in.
And even if the experimental vaxx program has never been technically ‘mandatory‘, the RCGP is well aware of the many forms of coercion and half truths (including from GP’s surgeries) being applied at all levels to get people to submit and roll up their sleeves (including the RCGP’s own position that “strongly urges” take up of the vaxx).
Information leaflets for patients and full pre-jab health checks have been sadly missing, and the yellow card reporting scheme is a shambles (despite which it has still revealed an alarming number of serious and fatal incidents).
Many recipients have been unaware of the experimental nature of the vaxx, and the potential short term side effects, including death. The long term side effects have yet to be understood let alone catalogued, and so the government’s cynical assurances are without any scientific foundation.

All vaccines that we’re currently using in the U.K. have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they are safe and effective – as such, we’d urge anyone who is offered a jab to have one.

Actually they haven’t; there is no medium to long term safety data available, and the gene-based interventions are all still in the trial stages, thus are experimental, and they are not even licensed yet. So why recommend them to medical professionals when there are at least 5 safe, licensed treatments readily available.

Professor Martin Marshall, Chair of the RCGP said:

“All vaccines that we’re currently using in the U.K. have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they are safe and effective – as such, we’d urge anyone who is offered a jab to have one.”

By making this clearly misleading statement Professor Marshall is not only bringing his profession and those he represents into disrepute, he is demonstrating that a dangerous epidemic of brainwashing and cult-like belief has taken grip within British medicine.

Professor Marshall is surely aware of the experimental nature of the injections, so how can he live with his own conscience, knowing that he is recommending injections which use experimental technology and which are still under trial until 2023? Anyone who takes this is part of the clinical trial, but they are not being informed of this, which is criminal. Instead they are being fed bullshit like this advice from Professor Marshall. What kind of “health” “professional” behaves like this? This is a form of trickery, especially so because someone like this commands much trust and respect and the stakes are so high. It is similar to mis-selling which implies deception. Not really what we expect from our health “experts”.

To conceal the reality of the “Emergency Use Only” authorisation which has been given to these injections on the back of a “pandemic” where the

“Global infection fatality rate is 0.15‐0.20% (0.03‐0.04% in those <70 years)”

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/eci.13423 ,

while claiming they are absolutely safe and effective when he cannot possibly say that with any certainty at all, when the potential for harm is so well documented and so significant, is reprehensible. This is the culture which has taken grip and become the norm within healthcare in the UK.

The gene therapy “vaccines” use experimental, controversial mRNA and DNA technology which has never been approved for use in humans due to not passing animal trials. Coronavirus vaccines also never passed animal trials due to Vaccine Enhanced Disease or Antibody Dependent Enhancement, despite decades of attempts at creating one. So mRNA gene based “vaccines” have never been licenced before. Coronavirus vaccines have never been licenced and all displayed the same type of issue. This is a Coronavirus mRNA vaccine for which they skipped animal trials and went straight to injecting humans en masse. They did this under the cover of fraudulently induced emergency powers because nothing they claimed was happening was actually true. They were quoting an IFR of 3.4% to make people scared and to justify their criminal actions when in fact the IFR was only 0.15%.

Considering the IFR for Covid19 is only slightly higher than a very average flu IFR of 0.1% and that those under 70 are more likely to die of flu than Covid19, plus the points made in the following document and the references provided within it, how can any self-respecting Doctor say with a straight face, that “All vaccines that we’re currently using in the U.K. have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they are safe and effective – as such, we’d urge anyone who is offered a jab to have one.” ?

According to the CTIAP, all of the vaccines were put on the market and actively used on human beings before ‘proof of quality for the active substance and the finished product’ was produced.

But we have known this long before the roll out when many of us were ranting about the irresponsible short cuts (not least exempting Big Pharma from liability for side effects) being taken to allow:
(1) mass roll out of an untested vaccine,
(2) use of gene therapy technology never previously given permission for use on humans.
What is particularly irritating about these arse-covering articles (that are now starting to drip out from the medical profession) is they are – without exception – too little too late. They are designed only so those involved can claim they warned the public about the vaccine WTSHTF, and walk away blame free.
Too many scientists and doctors have meekly kept their heads down while the experimental vaxx was rolled out, and now (with 95% of the over 50s jabbed in the UK) we get a few squeaky voices saying it might not be such a good idea after all.
Sorry, this dereliction of ethical responsibility right across the board is simply not good enough.

Yes the BBC has gone berserk about India. On Worldometers the Indian per capita COVID death rate is the same as Norway’s, and below Finland’s. They did the same misleading “cremation” angle on Mexico a while back, and on Italy too where in normal times cremation is rare (Catholic country) so with limited facilities, the coffins did back up for a while.

“These vaccines have undergone rigorous safety studies”. How can that be when we have minimal safety and efficacy data. All vaccines in trial til March 2023. Adverse events rising by the week, including deaths post vaccine. Refer to CDC VAERS, which by some is believed to only represent 1% of adverse events, due to under reporting.
