Fauci did say epidemics grow exponentially which is contrary to Farr (1840), Darwin (1859), Kermack-McKendrick (1927), …

“EU to host an emergency meeting next week after 60000 migrants storm Spanish border into Ceuta”

Correct me if im wrong, but doesn’t emergency mean immediately? or is next week the EUs version of emergency?

Dear Moderator.

Since the new web design was rolled out, I have not been able to comment using my Chromebook, which operates with Google.

I have contacted to raise this issue, but not received a response. I have therefore fired up, and am placing this message through my old laptop, also using google.

I contribute every month in order to help keep The Sceptic going and also to contribute to discussions.

I’m not sure I’ll continue to do that unless the problem is fixed. I’d appreciate a response to this message or my email. Thanks.

MODERATOR HERE

I have passed your message on by personal What’s App to our Techman, hopefully he’ll see it soon even though it is Sunday. There have been some teething issues, apologies

May not be related, but I couldn’t click the ‘post’ button to submit a typed comment on an iPad either post the change, until I logged out and back in again. You’ve probably tried that on your Chromebook already I assume… I guess it reset the cookies or something

“Andy Burnham is bouncing in the polls – but honeymoon’s nearly over already”

He’s a bluffer, and will be found out very quickly. In the meantime, anyone who is taken in by his ‘cheeky chappy’ act deserves what he’s offering, good and hard.

The Tory aligned media have recently been spinning the end of Reform and the resurrection of the Tory Party.

in the Manchester Mayoral election Tories came fifth. In Clacton they dared not stand.

“Boy George’s unabashed support for Jews makes him man of the decade”

I do appreciate Boy George’s actions, although his past isn’t an unbroken chain of wonderfulness. We can certainly do without a gushing Zoe Strimpel. Does the Telegraph just employ young teenagers now.?

“Norway hit the North Sea oil jackpot – but they used the money wisely”

All this ‘if only we’d done what the Norweigans have done’ nonsense. What would New Labour have done with a UK Oil Sovereign Fund than to spend it all. Thats what Blair and Brown did, in essence. They even sold our gold reserves for buttons, for Gods sake.

Besides which the ratio of oil revenues to population is dramatically different as between UK and Norway.

The real stupidity is to tax oil companies so production is uneconomic and to regulate so exploration is impossible.

ditto with bells on for gas fracking.

just remember who supported all this next time you hear the Tory leader spin a new policy.

“Brit woman seen befriending homeless people before her body was found”

While any untimely death is tragic, the first thought that comes to my mind is ‘play stupid games, win stupid prizes’.

Anthony Fauci’s Covid-era statements on masks, social distancing and clinical trials – and calls out the contradictions running through his public health advice.

I can’t help but remember that timeless phrase told to children everywhere: so if so and so tells you to jump off a cliff, are you going to do that too?

I don’t blame Fauci. I blame the hundreds of millions of zombie drones that failed to exercise their critical thinking. Anyone who stopped to think about things for a single second could see it was all absolutely ridiculous.

It’s much easier to find a scapegoat to pin the blame on than accept ones own mindless behaviour. But the honest, healthiest thing to do is for everyone to hold their own hand up (where it applies) and admit their own stupidity to themselves.

All very true. Most have their minds made up already on this matter, but I think it’s possible a few more will see the man squirming and start to question what they thought was certain.

I also think it should be remembered that it was not just Fauci – he was one (possibly important) player in a vast web of folly and evil – quite a few others were pushing vigorously in the same direction and many many more were enthusiastic followers, including the leaders of every major UK political party.
