Razor-brain experts at the Yard have clocked the possibility that frustrated eco extremists might turn to violence and terrorism to force their agendas. The Mail has the story.
Eco fanatics pose a risk of launching terror attacks on British soil, the country’s biggest police force has warned.
In a stark assessment, Scotland Yard said it fears environmental extremists – who have so far damaged property and held highly disruptive protests – will resort to terrorist violence if they feel their voices are not being heard.
Experts have warned that there is a growing risk of bomb attacks on the headquarters of fossil fuel firms and violence against their executives.
It seems that some of the green zealots are now being monitored like other classes of potential terrorists:
It emerged last month that dozens of young environmental extremists have been referred to Prevent, the Government programme which tries to stop individuals from becoming terrorists.
One security source said: “These people believe the planet will end soon, and if they feel they are not being listened to, then they will resort to extreme measures. They are also the most panic-ridden, neurotic people. So, they could be radicalised to do crazy things.”
It’s only a few months since eco warrior Chris Packham wheeled out dark warnings of “direct action“, the time-honoured favourite euphemism of those who know better than anyone else and feel entitled to impose their views by whatever means they deem necessary.
However, regular readers of this site will recall that this exact problem was predicted in these pages in ‘The Eco Doomsday Cults Will Spawn a New Generation of Terrorists‘ in October 2022.

“Growing Risk Of Terrorism From Eco-Fanatics”
Not a risk, a reality. Western “liberal” “democracies” governments are eco fanatic terrorists.
Astonishing that the law appears incapable of dealing with this threat, after all it’s been possible to deal with other similar threats in the past.
We seem to have become very weak-minded in this regard.
“These people believe the planet will end soon, and if they feel they are not being listened to, then they will resort to extreme measures. They are also the most panic-ridden, neurotic people. So, they could be radicalised to do crazy things.”
Let’s re-jig this:
“These people believe the pandemic is real, and if they feel others are not being vaccinated, then they will resort to extreme measures. They are also the most panic-ridden, neurotic people. So, they could be radicalised to do crazy things.”
Ah yes. Thought so. Same issue with people’s heads.
Packham, by his own declaration ( https://www.chrispackham.co.uk/news/aspergers-and-me ) is literally abnormal. No doubt there are others who meet the modern definition along those lines, some of whom align with official cults or amateur ones. One or two “panic-ridden, neurotic people” have been on display in the Government recently, after all.
Packham, by his own declaration ( https://www.chrispackham.co.uk/news/aspergers-and-me ) is literally abnormal.
Yup. Just like ginger-haired people, by the way. They’re oftentimes witches and do really evil stuff.
Different from you is not the same as abnormal.
It’s actions and attitudes that matter, I have no problem with either provided that they are within the law. As soon as they’re not, then I expect the police to act.
The text (I’m in absolutely no mood to listen to this guy) describes Packham as someone who was diagnosed with an autism-spectrum disorder in 2001. Leaving the someone questionable merit¹ of this diagnosis aside, that’s something rather different from literally abnormal, ie, not a ‘proper’ human being. It’s also unrelated to either panic-ridden or neurotic.
¹ Extrovert autist who excels in self-marketing is – as combination of terms – about as sensible as dry gaseous liquid.
Violence is the natural progression of the moralistic who deem themselves ignored.
The moral man does something, and when no one responds, he rolls up his sleeves and uses force. Lao-tzu
Alert: Police gaslighting the public by suggesting it is they who pose the risk of terrorism whereas it is actually the British government and their unelected masters of WEF, WHO, UN etc who pose the real risk of terrorising the people. Once again, we are being led down the garden path and into the slaughterhouse of truth so that THEY can control us. I don’t doubt that the eco-fanatics can summon up some more stupid and irritating antics but are they really terrorists or just a pain in the RRRRs?
My thoughts exactly Aethelred.
The super glue and are work destroyers are just the governments useful idiots. How can a government come down hard on people who are doing their dirty work for them? How much more extreme do these brainwashed dreamers need to get before firm action is taken and they are jailed? Or are we going to wait till bombs go off and people are bludgeoned to death coming out of a Fossil Fuel Headquarters?
Environmentalism encourages the idea that climate change is inexorable; it is going to end the world, so nothing much matters anymore: nihilism.
Nihilism (literally, nothing-ism) was a term coined by novelist Ivan Turgenev to describe the beliefs of fanatical Russian youth who, beginning in the 1860s, reacting against the centuries of despotism that their country had endured, rejected all the precepts of civilization and morality in their determination to destroy the existing order.
The nihilist is a person who acknowledges no moral or religious authority. Everything is permitted. There is no system of ethics to prevent nihilists from engaging in criminal activity.
Passive environmental nihilism is dangerous because it simply accepts the rules of the socialist fascist state unquestioningly, as we have seen during the totalitarian lockdowns of 2020.
Active environmental nihilism is dangerous, as was a different kind of nihilism in nineteenth century Russia, because it seeks, by whatever means, to destroy the religious and moral traditions that have guided mankind in the past (in 19th century Russia in favour of ‘the science’) so that a new and better ‘environmental’ world can come into being.
Until and unless climate change nut zero ‘environmental nihilism’ is discredited and defeated, as it must be, ‘environmental nihilist’ activists will continue to encourage the developed world down its current path of economic and ethical decline through whatever means that come to hand, including extreme violence, criminality; ‘eco-terrorism’.
The indictment of our political class, leadership, is that this should have been blindingly obvious for many years now and the appropriate action taken to discredit this manifest nonsense.
Packham needs to be cannon fired into a wind turbine.
Packham and his ilk need to be charged and convicted of incitement to commit a crime. Because that is exactly what they are doing.
Today they slit tyres——-Tomorrow it will be throats. —–When you believe the end of the world is coming because of a little extra CO2 in the atmosphere and billions will die in a climate apocalypse you are capable of anything. ——Fact and reason go out of the window to be replaced with faith and emotion.
We are being warned by plod that eco nutters are going to commit a terrorist incident. Now I wonder how plod know that because by and large their intelligence gathering generally is remarkable only for its absence.
In other words we WILL have an eco loon incident, plod will do “we warned you” and Fishy will “regrettably” have to introduce some further legislation depriving people of more of their liberties.
How utterly predictable. Talk about bad scripts.
Bang on, HP, as usual!
Thanks very much Aethelred
Another element which will lead to the coming civil war. Eventually normal, logical, pragmatic people will become very angry.
The actions of these eco-loons are already within the scope of terrorism –
Terrorism Act 2000
(1)In this Act “terrorism” means the use or threat of action where—
(a)the action falls within subsection (2),
(b)the use or threat is designed to influence the government or to intimidate the public or a section of the public, and
(c)the use or threat is made for the purpose of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause.
So just get on a bang these bar stewards up.
