- “Mystery over spike in Covid deaths on hottest day of the year” – The Mail reports that official figures show 258 people in England died on July 19th within 28 days of testing positive for Covid, the same day the mercury hit 40.3°C – presumably, heatwave deaths with Covid.
- “I saw the reality of the emergency service’s darkest hours – and this crisis is untenable” – Paul Brand in the Telegraph says that, armed with an ITV crew, he was given rare access to the NHS frontline where he found delayed ambulances and overcrowded A&E departments.
- “America goes into recession after second straight quarter of negative growth but Biden insists: ‘We are on the right path’” – The Mail reports that GDP shrank 0.9% in the second quarter, following a 1.6% decline in the first quarter.
- “New England Journal of Medicine: Unvaccinated Covid Patients Are Contagious for Less Time Than those Vaxed or Boosted.” – A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that people vaccinated against COVID-19 remained contagious with the virus for a longer period of time than their unvaccinated counterparts, the National Pulse reports.
- “WHO Director Tedros throws in towel, tepidly suggests gay men should maybe think about reconsidering anonymous sex orgies after all, perhaps, if it suits them, possibly” – Eugyppius writes that “nothing illustrates so plainly that containment and mitigation policies are political, as the incredible hypocrisy that the pandemicists are guilty of here” in being so precious about gay sex when they were not precious at all about “house-arresting billions of people to stop a novel respiratory virus”.
- “My email to the San Jose Mercury News” – Steve Kirsch asked the newspaper to investigate the number of vaccine injured in their community, but he isn’t holding his breath.
- “Smoking Gun: USG, Free Speech, Big Tech” – Dr. Robert Malone writes that the CDC colluded with Big Tech to prevent Covid vaccine informed consent.
- “Priority for the next PM – halt children’s Covid jabs” – TCW Defending Freedom carries a letter from a group of medics to the next Prime Minister asking him or her to reconsider the evidence of children’s Covid vaccination.
- “I’ve been ‘disappeared’ by Twitter, along with the vaccine-injured” – TCW‘s Kathy Gyngell reports that she has been permanently suspended from Twitter, along with many vaccine injured, as the social media company clamps down on prohibited views.
- “Climatologists Embarrassed: Increase in Global CO2 Levels Accompanied by Arctic Sea Ice Growth!” – The latest data show Arctic sea ice is still very much present and is currently running above the average of the last decade, writes Pierre Gosselin on WUWT.
- “End Carbon Imperialists’ Impoverishment of Africa” – Vijay Jayaraj on WUWT says it is carbon imperialism where Western leaders, “who have embraced climate superstitions, control what kind of energy people in Africa use”.
- “U.K. Sea Level Rise Speeding Up, Claims Met Office: Data Prove Otherwise” – Paul Homewood says the Met Office report deliberately distorts what the data are actually saying, with the intent to mislead the public into believing the ever sillier predictions of apocalyptic sea level rise coming our way.
- “Why heat pumps sum up all that is wrong with ‘net zero’” – Tom Haynes at the Telegraph says Soviet-style planning could force households to buy heat pumps even if they do not want them.
- “White pupils are now least likely to go to university after drive to make intakes more diverse” – The Mail reports that Department for Education statistics show 10.5% of white youngsters are at an elite university, the smallest proportion of any ethnic group, after a drive to, er, reduce the number of white people going to them.
- “Allison Bailey and the trouble with Stonewall” – Andrew Tettenborn writes in the Spectator that Bailey’s chambers at Garden Court need to do some serious soul-searching following Wednesday’s judgment.
- “Why do the Left want little children to be taught by drag queens?” – The U.K. appears to have imported yet another woke trend from America, but Michael Deacon in the Telegraph doubts it’s at the request of Britain’s five-year-olds.
- “We will look back with horror at this mutilation of children done in the name of medicine” – Suzanne Moore in the Telegraph says that groupthink and a particular ideology about gender identity led to vulnerable people being given life-changing medication at the Tavistock Clinic.
- “Vaccines have… not substantially reduced Covid transmission” – A moment of frankness from the WHO Director General.
