News Round-Up

by Will Jones
29 July 2022 1:37 AM

  • “Just one in four GPs works full-time, new data reveals” – The head of the Royal College GPs said the job is too stressful as the number of full-time GPs drops to the lowest level in five years, the Telegraph reports.
  • “Mystery over spike in Covid deaths on hottest day of the year” – The Mail reports that official figures show 258 people in England died on July 19th within 28 days of testing positive for Covid, the same day the mercury hit 40.3°C – presumably, heatwave deaths with Covid.
  • “I saw the reality of the emergency service’s darkest hours – and this crisis is untenable” – Paul Brand in the Telegraph says that, armed with an ITV crew, he was given rare access to the NHS frontline where he found delayed ambulances and overcrowded A&E departments.
  • “America goes into recession after second straight quarter of negative growth but Biden insists: ‘We are on the right path’” – The Mail reports that GDP shrank 0.9% in the second quarter, following a 1.6% decline in the first quarter.
  • “New England Journal of Medicine: Unvaccinated Covid Patients Are Contagious for Less Time Than those Vaxed or Boosted.” – A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that people vaccinated against COVID-19 remained contagious with the virus for a longer period of time than their unvaccinated counterparts, the National Pulse reports.
  • “WHO Director Tedros throws in towel, tepidly suggests gay men should maybe think about reconsidering anonymous sex orgies after all, perhaps, if it suits them, possibly” – Eugyppius writes that “nothing illustrates so plainly that containment and mitigation policies are political, as the incredible hypocrisy that the pandemicists are guilty of here” in being so precious about gay sex when they were not precious at all about “house-arresting billions of people to stop a novel respiratory virus”.
  • “My email to the San Jose Mercury News” – Steve Kirsch asked the newspaper to investigate the number of vaccine injured in their community, but he isn’t holding his breath.
  • “Smoking Gun: USG, Free Speech, Big Tech” – Dr. Robert Malone writes that the CDC colluded with Big Tech to prevent Covid vaccine informed consent.
  • “Priority for the next PM – halt children’s Covid jabs” – TCW Defending Freedom carries a letter from a group of medics to the next Prime Minister asking him or her to reconsider the evidence of children’s Covid vaccination.
  • “I’ve been ‘disappeared’ by Twitter, along with the vaccine-injured” – TCW‘s Kathy Gyngell reports that she has been permanently suspended from Twitter, along with many vaccine injured, as the social media company clamps down on prohibited views.
  • “Climatologists Embarrassed: Increase in Global CO2 Levels Accompanied by Arctic Sea Ice Growth!” – The latest data show Arctic sea ice is still very much present and is currently running above the average of the last decade, writes Pierre Gosselin on WUWT.
  • “End Carbon Imperialists’ Impoverishment of Africa” – Vijay Jayaraj on WUWT says it is carbon imperialism where Western leaders, “who have embraced climate superstitions, control what kind of energy people in Africa use”.
  • “U.K. Sea Level Rise Speeding Up, Claims Met Office: Data Prove Otherwise” – Paul Homewood says the Met Office report deliberately distorts what the data are actually saying, with the intent to mislead the public into believing the ever sillier predictions of apocalyptic sea level rise coming our way.
  • “Why heat pumps sum up all that is wrong with ‘net zero’” – Tom Haynes at the Telegraph says Soviet-style planning could force households to buy heat pumps even if they do not want them.
  • “White pupils are now least likely to go to university after drive to make intakes more diverse” – The Mail reports that Department for Education statistics show 10.5% of white youngsters are at an elite university, the smallest proportion of any ethnic group, after a drive to, er, reduce the number of white people going to them.
  • “Allison Bailey and the trouble with Stonewall” – Andrew Tettenborn writes in the Spectator that Bailey’s chambers at Garden Court need to do some serious soul-searching following Wednesday’s judgment.
  • “Why do the Left want little children to be taught by drag queens?” – The U.K. appears to have imported yet another woke trend from America, but Michael Deacon in the Telegraph doubts it’s at the request of Britain’s five-year-olds.
  • “We will look back with horror at this mutilation of children done in the name of medicine” – Suzanne Moore in the Telegraph says that groupthink and a particular ideology about gender identity led to vulnerable people being given life-changing medication at the Tavistock Clinic.
  • “Vaccines have… not substantially reduced Covid transmission” – A moment of frankness from the WHO Director General.

"While vaccines have saved countless lives, they have not substantially reduced #COVID19 transmission. So it’s vital for governments & the private sector to continue collaborating & investing in the development of new vaccines that prevent both infection & disease"-@DrTedros

“I want you to have your civil liberties back, but I don’t want you to have them back in a way that kills other people”.

Ban cars, ban abortions, ban smoking, ban drinking, ban visiting anybody in a care home ever, ban sneezing in public

The government has a shed load of vaccines (400 million and rising), and if these are not to go the same way as its earlier irresponsible purchase of not-fit-for-purpose PPE (or the panic driven Nightingale follies) Boris and chums are going to be jabbing this gene therapy muck into us on a regular basis for the the foreseeable future.
Unless journalists and voters start to challenge this ridiculous and oft repeated spin that one wears a mask/takes a jab to protect others then we are fooked. Liberty cannot be given back in instalments, it is essentially indivisible and it is NOT the government’s to take away.
For a year now UK citizens have listened and voluntarily (albeit under pressure) gone along with (as opposed to obeying) draconian ministerial decrees – to the point where Shapps & Co are deluded enough to believe they hold our rights and liberties in their hands to take back and return as they see fit – THEY DO NOT!
We can take back our liberties at any time, and (in agreement with JHB) that time is now. There needs to be a spontaneous EASTER UPRISING to stretch the police force to breaking point, and to re-assert (not reclaim) those inalienable rights that are enshrined within our constitution.
And we need to oppose every propaganda agent like Shapps or we will lose the fundamental freedom of naturally topping up our by now weakened immune systems by catching seasonal colds and flus (as if this elemental process somehow threatens others). Meanwhile kids of all ages at school need to shed the masks in mass protest, and refuse testing. Hopefully the bigger kids still cowering at home will follow soon after….

We need a mass civil disobedience day when everyone tears up their masks in public. It’s a start and sends a strong message.

Its not a question of getting our civil liberties back – no (democratic) government has the right to take them away – which is why all this BS is guidance and not law……its voluntary and they rely on propaganda and the idiocy of the general population to obey.

It is a matter of the population taking responsibility for their own actions and the consequences of those actions – by force of law if necessary.

But we have bred several generations of people who believe that everything they think, say and do is the fault of someone else if it goes wrong. And therefore its someone elses responsibility to prevent them from thinking, saying or doing something.

That isnt going to change – its ingrained in the majority of people (see the Meghan Markle interview for the latest classic example).

But what needs to happen is not the state accommodating these people and mopping their weary brows, but the state ignoring them and their self-deluded demands, and if it must, tell them to grow a pair, stop being so feeble-minded and pathetic and take some responsibility.

Now – who in politics is going to do that?

They wouldnt tolerate it in the armed services…..maybe a military coup isnt such a bad idea……

To follow Shapps’ logic we will lock down for the next bad flu season when there is a more dangerous strain or the vaccine is less effective.

It’s time for a mask burning party, methinks.

Mr Shapps said “I want you to have your civil liberties back, but I don’t want you to have them back in a way that kills other people”.
This is the foundation of the biosecurity fascist totalitarian state now being erected in the anglosphere and some european nations.
‘They’ decide when. if we have our freedoms based on their ever-changing rules. They impose controls that are being developed and implemented every day.
If people do not rise up against this tyranny very soon it will be too late, it just might already be so.

Shapps is a perfect illustration of what is wrong with the lockdownistas: inconvenient facts just do not exist for them.

I have listened to this several times . Schapps says that May was mentioned in the clip from January that JHB played -but it wasn’t was it?

All the costs are future and right now the feeling that seeking a quicker exit means killing people makes the lockdown largely supported.
But pols should remember that in six months, when job losses mount, cancer deaths rise and taxes begin to hit…they will forget they supported this policy, and put the blame right on Boris and Co.
