A far greater age-verification scam in reverse has just been exposed in Brazil, where a 38 year-old woman managed to successfully pose as a 12 year-old girl so as to be adopted by a pair of complete idiots for over a year, thus obviating the usual adult need for her to have to get a proper job: our present UK problem with NEETs has the potential to get a whole lot worse.

The woman was not even a midget, but a fully grown adult human female of normal height, named Amanda Maria Souza de Oliveira, who was able to successfully pose as a pre-pubescent via the insultingly simple means of sporting a red bow in her hair, carrying a small doll around everywhere she went and speaking in a squeaky, high-pitched voice like something from Alvin & The Chipmunks (a slight comic exaggeration, but that was her basic principle here).
