Volunteer clowns are performing for migrants just metres from Kurdish people-smuggling gangs plotting their next Channel crossings. The Telegraphhas the story:
The queue of migrants watched in bemusement as volunteer clowns attempted to lift their spirits.
But Laurence Quetel, 67, and her dungaree-clad troupe’s juggling performance barely elicited a smile from the crowds waiting to be served lunch.
It was an incongruous performance in the squalid camp of Loon-Plage on the outskirts of Calais where 2,500 people were awaiting passage to the UK.
Their new tactic of deploying 15m-long “mega dinghies” to transport 230 people in a single journey is seen as a necessary evil by Ms Quetel, a former manager for the electrical conglomerate Phillips in her native Netherlands.
“My first feeling was, I was happy that 230 people arrived in one batch without people dying… The second [feeling] was s—, how can they put them on there,” said Ms Quetel, who took off her red nose before speaking. …
Ms Quetel began performing for migrants under the stage name Clown Holalal after the exodus of Syrian refugees during the civil war in 2016.
She founded her company Inside Clown in 2012, having trained as a hospital clown in Holland, and has practised her trade in migrant camps in Greece, Jordan and Lebanon.
She and her two fellow clowns, Anne and Jeroen, have been at Loon-Plage for the past week in partnership with Salam Nord, an aid organisation in Calais that serves free food. …
Criminal gangs control and regulate the camp’s existence by dividing it into two. One section is for the migrants and aid workers, the other is for smugglers.
The criminals supplement their income by selling packets of cigarettes, fizzy drinks or charging mobile phones out of their ramshackle tents.
Refugees are dispatched each morning to buy supplies from the Auchan Hypermarket 1.7 miles away, and return with shopping carts loaded with ingredients for the gang’s makeshift kitchens. …
Violence has plagued Loon-Plage, with sporadic turf wars between Kurdish and Afghan people-smuggling gangs vying for control of the beaches along France’s northern coast.
On July 28th last year, a man in his thirties was shot seven times in a gang-related murder.
One month before, a double shooting left two dead and six wounded, including a woman and a two year-old child.
The gangs share an uneasy symbiotic relationship with aid agencies, allowing them to provide free food, medication, washing facilities and life jackets to migrants.
In exchange, volunteers were expected to turn a blind eye to their criminal operations, according to a well-placed Kurdish source.

“the crowds waiting to be served lunch“ So they are waited on in France, and once they have broken into Britain they are given free hotel accommodation, free meals, free healthcare, free spending money, freedom to go where they please. Stop it. We can, but our elites don’t want to.
Come here illegally? Straight into a detention centre. Very basic accommodation and food. No money, no freedom to go outside the centre (the authorities got quite good at that during the Covid nonsense, if you remember). No “asylum seeking” if you’ve just come from one or several safe countries. Deportation asap. It’s all easily done – if the will is there.

A combination of Clown World and Turkeys for Christmas. And if all the illegality is known and even in which tents, why aren’t the French taking decisive action to stop it I wonder.
Probably find they supply the maps and radio gear bought with our Fing money.
The “smugglers” aren’t arrested because they are part of the plan. Obviously they are not smugglers, as that would suggest they are doing it in secret, which they are not.
We all know that this whole “de-whiting” of Europe thing has been long in the planning and is being pushed by pretty much every EU government, regardless of political colour. Here in the UK we can pick and choose between various political parties/politicians, but we’ll still end up in the same shitty place (and I would include Reform, now they’ve been infiltrated).
The way I see it is we have 3 choices. 1) sit back & watch the European people fade away. 2) fight to death to retain what’s ours, but lose millions in the process. 3) pack your bags and leg it, to hopefully somewhere a bit more sensible.
Remember my dad arguing with a man who said “can’t see what you’re so worried about, it’s only a few Caribbean types to help drive the buses in London”….

I used to know someone who volunteered with an organisation called Clowns Without Borders, Clowns Without Brains would be a better name, in 2015-16 she went to Calais several times to entertain people in the camps. I’ve lost touch with her so don’t know if she still does it or has come to her senses and now regrets wasting her time.
Yes, we can see from the photos how little the Criminal Aliens are being “entertained” by the clowns.

What NGO or government grant did they get to do that nonsense. I always hated clowns, one more reason to add to the pile.
I wonder if they’re handing out free clown gear e.g. funny wigs and make-up so the paedophiles will find it easier to attract victims when they get to the UK.
I wonder if most kids and adults actually hate clowns and never found them funny. To me they’ve always seemed weird and scary, trying to force people to laugh at their weird antics and scary faces.
