Lucy Powell branded the year six spelling test “obscure”. Does she actually understand the meaning of the word “obscure”? I suspect not.

Its summer! stop with the heatwave crap, and “wildfire fears” encourage arsonist to do just that like in France and Spain

Is there a reason why the X comment link on the last item of the news roundup does not open into a new browser tab like all the other items? Minor gripe, I know.

Interesting, thank you. On my Firefox on Linux Mint most of the links include the directive:

target=”_blank”

But the X links do not.

I can force it with a right-click and ‘open in new tab’ but it’s just different from all the others. Anyway, it’s not so very terrible.

I works on my iPhone, though I’ve noticed over the last few days that X posts don’t seem to be opening as fully as they did… I suspect X are trying to encourage people to sign up to read posts fully in their platform, perhaps? 🤷🏼
