“Female troops told eat twice as much and sleep more to match males”
Ordering women to become fat and lazy! Great idea
Come reveille all the women will be spark out with a full stomach!
“Only eight women have passed the All Arms Commando Course required to earn a green beret, and the question of whether the Royal Marines’ final barrier is set to fall is now under scrutiny”
O’ mark my words, soon you’ll have to be gay, trans, woke or black and identify as a frog to get into the marines, white males need not apply!
Don’t the frogs have the Foreign Legion, for this kind of thing?
“A
manscapegoat has been charged with incitement to hatred after a replica mosque was placed on top of a bonfire in Northern Ireland”The complete inability to consider that this kind of thing is a symptom of what is going wrong, rather than causative, is entirely in keeping with the mindset of the PPE grads who think they know what’s best for us..
Putting a mosque on a bonfire is “hateful” and “inciting hatred” whereas using a replica of a catholic is okay??
https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15969387/abject-terror-murdered-Ann-Widdecombe-family-shock-police-arrest-man.html Given that they have released the said suspect now, it made me wonder if Devon & Cornwall have considered what happened in Hampshire recently. A degree of accuracy before publication might be a good idea.
I assume we can no longer say that the person who murdered Anne Widdecombe was a white British born man, and I also assume the motive for the crime is back in the melting pot as well.
“Nobody has the right to live their lives being protected from offence, or from insult or from hurt feelings – it is an occupational hazard of living in society”
And if you really can’t take it, become a hermit”
Wise words, Lee Harris, and the average emotionally mature free speech proponent would comprehend this. However, how many times have we seen people get so bent out of shape when confronted with views that they don’t like that they react like right c*nts, embarking on an obsessive campaign of hate against the individual as a result? Very common, especially online, where there’s no accountability and people are emboldened by their anonymous status.
The ‘we can dish it out but we can’t take it’ brigade talk the talk about free speech and how ”offence is taken, never given”, but when exposed to opinions that don’t align with their own and that challenge their world view they can’t handle it and show themselves for the rank hypocrites that they blatantly are.
Ann had as much right to her opinions as anyone else. I didn’t agree with everything she said but I respect the fact she was a ‘woman who wouldn’t wheesht’, like myself.… Read more »
Bloody well said Mogs!
Ann Widdecombe at her very best. She would have made a worthy successor to Mrs Thatcher instead of the treacherous Major and the dripping wet LibCONs who followed him.
As for the Prime Liar …. I believe his only regret about her murder is that it wasn’t Farage who was killed. And that goes for Badenough as well.
These are the people who claim to be the guardians of oir democracy against the onslaught of awful, right wingers who apparently threaten our democracy. But they have no issue with turning a by-election into a farce in order to try to destroy an opponent.
Yet another instance of taking a wrecking ball to the principles and values that underpin a free domcratic society…. in order to protect that democratic society.
These people are the worst
I’m not sure what the odds are for this character to win, nor what he intends to do if he does. But, the likelihood of ‘tactical’ voting by all of Farage’s opposition, who we see are united in their fear, coupled with the British ‘Boaty MacBoatface’ mentality, makes it worth a punt, I think?
If indeed Farage loses, as I suspect he might, I’d hope for an excoriating riposte about the state of our nation and, moreover, our politics and the utter, puerile stupidity of an electorate that even contemplates voting for a joke candidate, as he throws in the towel and walks away, as he can afford to do.
A country that votes for a joke, becomes the joke… though, the fact that people are, apparently, seriously considering this, suggests we may be there already, perhaps?
I only wish I had the means to walk away too.
After the example of Zelenskyy, what are the odds that Britain will elect Count Binface as the PM to take us into war against the evil Putin and seal our status as an international force for world order?
I actually hope that Binface wins. My view has long been that the system is irrevocably broken. That an entity sits above governments and governments are servants to that entity, not the people. That democracy is an illusion and that the power behind the spell is found at the ballot box. That the only way the illegitimate is made legitimate is by the people’s belief in an illegitimate system that tickles egos just enough to entrance the people to purchase a ticket to their own execution. That those people are naive.
If Binface wins it will be clear that the system is broken and can easily be rigged. And if that happens it’s a only small step to noticing the tip of the magician’s hat. Which is why, I believe, Binface will not win.
They don’t want to protect democratic society, they want to protect themselves using “democracy” as a cloak to hide their tyrannical aspirations, and as a mandate to do as they like.
