Here is the RAIB interim report on the Bedford crash: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/collision-between-two-passenger-trains-near-elstow

As ever, there is a sequence of events to examine that led to the incident, and of course they cannot interview the driver of the Corby- St. Pancras train. However, note bullet points 3 & 4. No doubt there will be some speculation as to why the driver left it late to respond to signal WH154 being at red, but some of it may be that the previous one, being that for the cross over from the Slow line, was kind of misinterpreted, leading to an assumption that it would be normal to accelerate after the crossover, reportedly up to 76 mph before an emergency stop was attempted. An unwanted psychological risk built into the existing system, some might say.

In other news, I see that a block vote of Labour MPs destroyed an opposition day motion yesterday to cancel the trial of puberty blockers to children, as young as eleven. Consider that, eleven year old children being made to sacrifice their health and future.

Despite changing their leader, the present Labour benches remain truly rooted in evil.

“Britain is the weak man of Europe on border control”

Well, we’re obviously rubbish at controlling our own borders but, the others are too. It’s worth considering too that every single person who breaks in to the country, on a boat, has first got to France, across multiple similarly porous borders.

Unless the EU were to do their job and intern everyone who arrives illegally, until they ask to go home, we don’t stand a chance. This will never happen, of course, as our guests would be on the streets immediately,

Heat pump growth stalls as government support cut, warns climate watchdog says Esme Stallard and Justin Rowlatt on behalf of Aunty.
I suspect the article is being deliberately obscure:

Installations of heat pumps in the UK grew just 7% last year – down from a bumper 56% in 2024 – in a worrying sign for government climate efforts.

The UK’s independent climate advisors published the figures on Wednesday as part of its update on the country’s progress to reduce planet-warming emissions.

The fall in sales comes after…

A strange use of the word ‘fall’ to describe a claimed growth of 7%.

It is not at all clear to me what last year’s growth of 7% as compared with the previous year’s 56% means. Do they mean that last year there were 67% (156% x 107%) more installations than two years ago? It’s still an acceleration of installations. If you approve of heat pump installations how is that a bad thing?

While we’re at it I’d like a government subsidy for a new kitchen. Can we say £5,000? Far cheaper for the taxpayer than subsidising a heat pump.

More confused output from Aunty’s green loons.

And, percentages are only fleetingly relevant anyway… it’s the raw numbers that matter. An increase of seven from ten, is seventy percent but would not mean much if the target is in the thousands.

“Lord Hermer resurrects Chagos Islands ‘surrender’ deal”

If “King Rat of the North” (as Kiwi Patriot Dan Wootton calls him) never does anything else as Prime Minister, kicking Lord Hermer out of the Attorney General’s office will be one of the best things he has ever done. And kicking him out of the Advocate General’s office of Northern Ireland, a post he was obviously given to ruthlessly hound and persecute British Army veterans.

The whole country will applaud him for doing that.

Well done to Jim Chimirie for exposing this outrageous hypocrisy and nauseating Leftist Political corruption of the new Closet Catholic head of the Protestant Church of England.

Isn’t it strange that so many prominent Catholics like Nigerian Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke Badenoch carefully avoid mentioning Nigeria’s massacred Christians?

“British society is not ‘built for white people’ (at least not any more)” – In the Telegraph, Mercy Muroki …”

British society was built BY white people FOR white people, and Third World immigrants like Ethnic African Muroki are busy using white people’s compassion against them to destroy the white people’s countries.

“Muroki [was born on July 19,1995 in Nairobi, Kenya] … and moved to West London at the age of five. She became a mother at 18 and while claiming Universal Credit [as a single mother], she studied Politics at Queen Mary University of London from 2015 to 2018 and graduated with a first [who was looking after the baby?] . She completed a Master of Science degree in Comparative Social Policy at Jesus College, Oxford, from 2019 to 2021. Muroki was the youngest of the researchers appointed on the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, which made the conclusion in 2021 that British society is not institutionally racist. In 2023, Muroki became a policy adviser for the Minister for Women and Equalities Kemi Badenoch.”

Who paid for all her Universal Credit, Child Benefit, Housing and university degrees?
British Taxpayers.

You are absolutely right, and I have always thought that every sports team of any kind, cricket, rugby, whatever, international or local amateur teams, should have their own NATIONAL FLAG prominently displayed on their shirts, so that everyone knows who they are, no matter what colour of kit they are wearing. Not the Union flag, but whichever of the four national flags in Britain represents their team, together with their county or city flags if they want. They can also have the 3 lions or other symbols, but lions are also used by other countries, so it’s not enough. They should all have their national flags on their kit.

And since Globalist German Tuchel is smirking and gloating while “Rubbing England’s Noses in Diversity”, the large, easily visible National Flag of England on the England shirts would help spectators distinguish them from African teams. As one commenter said, the World Cup matches are all fixed, part of the Globalist “DEI” Anti-White Agenda.

The disgusting thing is the players who REFUSE TO CELEBRATE their own goals, because they are loyal to the opposing team !!!

African players are vastly over represented compared to the populations of the non African countries they play for, or maybe picked by merit is fine if its for black people?

The hot spot of the Antarctic peninsula is the one area of the continent that has permanent human habitation. I wonder what could be causing all that heat.
Well of course there is also sub-surface geothermal activity too.
But no, it really must be localised global warming (if you will excuse the contradiction).

Not sure how to describe this selfie from Andy Burnham with all these smiling Labour MPs.
I felt distinctly uneasy.
Here is a man who has just become an MP, but somehow is hailed as the new PM in waiting.
Where is the integrity of these Labour MPs?

It’s the same as Hindu Sunak’s unstoppable trajectory, which everyone seems to forget. He only got into No. 10 because all other candidates were forced to step down, to prevent party members from voting against Sunak demanding his turn at Musical Chairs.

I’m monitoring three weather locations using Met Office forecasts, inc two in the UK. In all three cases the MO produces hourly temperature forecasts for the coming days. I’ve just noticed that the Summary temp forecast for each day in all three places is higher than any of their own hourly temp forecasts for that location…
They’re loving this scaremongering, aren’t they? Has anyone told them about RCP 4.5?

P.S. Windy.Com requires a little more input to use as a forecasting tool, but it’s a lot more accurate than the Met Office. It’s not just a wind forecast

The Marxists may as well get it out in the open. Everybody can see the direction of travel and everybody knows the destination. The state is expanding at an exponential rate, the country is being remade – both culturally and ethically through aggressive oppression of the indigenous population, freedoms of speech, thought and action have disappeared, people work to support people that don’t work and for state projects, all institutions have been ideologically captured, indoctrination starts at school, we are being microscopically surveilled… there’s not much point going on. This all leads us to some form of Marxist utopia, likely modelled on China.

The plebs are mentally shot through sustained psyops like climate, Covid, individual ‘rights’, immigration and the gender dictionary. There is no appetite for a fight. I know. So they might as well get it out in the open so we can start making plans. Apart from a small handful of polite protests with the plebs holding banners and shouting some naughty words, and even smaller impolite protests, which will be dealt with immediately, the proles will do nothing apart from lower their heads a little more. At least being honest with us shows a little respect. I… Read more »

Sadly I agree with you. This appears to be the direction of travel.
One small thing: “if I was a totalitarian Marxist with an ounce of decency” – there is no such thing as a totalitarian Marxist with decency.
Marxism, by its very essence is based on a lie. Its adherents think themselves as morally superior, righteous people. They think that everything they do – including forced labour camps, annihilation of their opponents, total oppression – is done with the best of intention, out of love for mankind, for good progressive causes.

“In the Spectator, Ross Clark asks why the Right still hasn’t properly got behind her.”

Lol. Ross Clark must be suffering from memory loss, or he has a different idea of “right” from me. Unlike others here, who are of course entitled to their opinions, I don’t mind her “Nigerianess” and I think she handles herself well and has balls. But how can anyone trust someone who was a minister during the “covid” years, from a party that appears to show no contrition for the repeated, deep betrayal of their core supporters?

Indeed.
The problem with her is that she was part of the conservative government that made promises without the slightest intention of keeping them.
To be a bit crude, it’s like listening to a porn star talking about how she’s going to lead the country to a new era of moral purity.

I don’t know if you or others are aware of this site. It’s about tactical voting and you put your postcode in and it suggests which right-of-centre party are likely to win in your area today. I think they’ll probably come up with Reform whichever postcode you put in, but who else is there, to be honest? The Tories sure as hell aren’t Right.
The fact is that the Left has been successfully voting tactically for years so it makes sense to use the same strategy if you want these same clowns gone finally, and give somebody new and ( hopefully ) different enough to make meaningful changes a crack at the whip;

”Why tactical voting matters:

The Problem
In the 2024 General Election, the right-of-centre vote was split between the Conservative Party and Reform UK. Labour won hundreds of seats with as little as 30% of the vote because the opposition was fragmented.

The Solution
By identifying which right-of-centre party polled strongest in your constituency in 2024, you can vote tactically at the next election and avoid wasting your vote to the split.

What We Assess
We start with the 2024 General Election results for the Conservative Party and… Read more »

I was not aware of it, thanks for the info. I’m not sure there is more tactical voting on the left than on the right. As I keep pointing out, the left is split between Labour, Lib Dem, Green, SNP, Plaid Cymru, Sinn Fein, independents, even if you don’t count Tories. Voting Tory has effectively been a tactical vote for a long time for anyone on the right – the ‘least bad’ party, socialism managed slightly more efficiently. Look where that got us. I put in a few places at random and it came up with Conservative quite often. I think the Tories need to be utterly destroyed. I will most likely be voting Reform but will consider carefully when the time comes. There’s zero chance I will vote Tory.

This is what they recommend across the whole country:

Conservative 222 of which: Could Win 62 Long Shot 47 Right Wins 113

Reform UK 408 of which Could Win 100 Long Shot 103 Right Wins 205

Restore Britain 2 of which Long Shot 1 Right Wins 1

So if they are right and their advice is followed, the “right” is close to but not certain of an overall majority, and needs some of the “could wins”.

Another approach to “uniting the right” is for everyone on the right to vote for the same right wing party, Reform being the obvious candidate. That is a form of tactical voting too.

Mogwai

That would be the common sense tactic but we know it won’t happen due to the existence of Restore, despite them being miles behind Reform, without a cat in hell’s chance of winning. I know a lot can happen between now and the GE but I’m a realist, not a fantasist.
Then you get the morose terminal cynics with their paranoid ideation who won’t vote for anyone, so they can continue whinging about the state of the country for the next half dozen years, because that’s their preference and default position, so that lot will hand a win to the Left due to their inaction. Cards on the table. I grew with a large circle of friends, of which many were black and Asian (mainly Hindu and Sikh). My best friend of 40+ years – I still class him as my best friend, even though we haven’t spoken for over 3 years – is second generation Jamaican. But something has changed. Three years ago my mate started saying that the most racist people in England were white English, and he said this whilst surrounded by his white English friends; the irony seemed lost on him. Anyway, I pushed back and we haven’t spoken since, but I think that experience was one of a growing underbelly of dislike by the non-English for the English and England, whilst they benefitted from English hospitality and opportunities in England. Now, for the first time in my life, as I watch my country being destroyed and my people beaten (both mentally and physically), something I don’t particularly like is stirring deep within me. Something sad and angry.

That’s why your comment has split the likes/dislikes (I didn’t vote at all btw), it touches on emotions many of us are still struggling to come to terms with. We’ve been programmed for… Read more »

Your post reminded me of something Tommy Robinson once said about all the Sikh and Muslim friends he had in younger days. He said how sad and shocked he was to discover that, whenever there were any fights or quarrels, they would ALWAYS side with their own, even when their own were clearly in the wrong or committing criminal acts, and they NEVER helped their white friends or defended them in any way from attacks by their fellow Sikhs or Muslims. The compassionate White Man’s concept of genuine friendship transcending ethnicity or culture is NOT how Third World Ethnics view it at all. Their concept of “morality” is inconceivable to Ethnic Europeans.

The Evil Sikh family banding together to protect the Armed Sikh Coward who murdered Unarmed Teenage Christian Henry Nowak is a prime example of their whole attitude. Kinship, ethnic, religious and tribal ties come first, everywhere in the Third World. And as that whole Sikh family proved, they will lie and cheat and help murderers conceal their crimes and weapons, watching unmoved while victims like Henry die in agony on the ground before them, even filmed by the murderer. The Sikh mother who hid the murder weapon even… Read more »
