“Falling birth rates are an existential threat – yet the political class is silent”

Your all missing the point, this isn’t a threat it’s intentional! Less whites(the most intelligent and intellectual) and less population in general (useless eaters)watered down by immigration to a creamy brown subservient population with IQ’s of less than 90 will suit and serve the elites in their ivory towers and provide plenty of servants to cater to their daily needs!

Falling birth rates are an existential threat – yet the political class is silent

The article uses a too simplistic analysis. Birth rates have certainly fallen since the 1960s but the number of people surviving to reproductive age (I’ve arbitrarily chosen 20-34) has remained more or less stable at around 12-14m since rising from around 10m between 1922 and 1970. People are having fewer children but fewer of the kids are dying before reaching reproductive age. Clearly the forecast effect of recent birth rates on the size of the breeding age population in 20-34 years time is relevant but trends over the last 50 years are stable.

Two things that have changed:

People are surviving a bit longer and this boosts the ratio of frail, non-working elderly to working age population. This is further complicated by an anti-business and anti-work culture of welfare for idleness among those of working age.

The biggest change is that infant and child mortality have reached historic lows. In 1922 25% of all deaths were people under 20. By the 1960s it had fallen to 5%. By 2022 only 0.7% of deaths were among under 20 year olds.

Would you rather live near a battery energy storage system or a nuclear plant? Was worth reading. An element of US bureaucracy, but it could be summed up as a comparison between probability of occurrence compared with the severity of something. You can prevent something, but then are likely to have these other snags – but the bureaucratic system doesn’t explain that well.

I watched some of the Westminster Hall debate on the need to release data of perpetrators of rape.
The thing that struck me was that several MPs stated that most rapes in this country were perpetrated by white males, thereby ignoring the demographic makeup of this country.
I find it difficult to say that there are different levels of rape, but at the same time these MPs were ignoring the brutality of the rapes by the rape gangs, which were at a whole other level and based on race of the victims.

I doubt the figures are real and the number of rapes by gangs is much higher. With gang rapes the threats to kill will be enough to silence many victims. It takes unimaginable bravery to seek redress through police and courts especially since many police seem to be linked to the gangs.

It’s an undeniable fact most rapists by a country mile are white, as this is basic stats due to such a stark difference in numbers. Whites still vastly outnumber other demographics and absolute numbers shouldn’t be ignored when it suits the narrative.
However, that doesn’t mean to say infinity stabby, rapey men should be allowed entry. And yes, in relation to their population size they commit more sex crimes. But the UK has enough homegrown, indigenous predatory perverts ( inc teen boys ) to be going on with without adding more to the mix.

They may be correct, but how would they know? Isn’t that why the figures should be collected and released? So that policies can be formulated and action properly targeted?

Well, all they have to do is find out how many men are doing time for rape with a break down regarding the ethnicity of the convicts. This information exists internally, they just don’t release it publicly and we know ( it’s been reported previously ) that ethnicity of the perp is often not recorded. But the prison services certainly know.
This below info is fairly old now but when it comes to break down you get an idea that whites will always be way ahead of any other ethnic group, purely due to the fact there’s many more of them. Apparently approx 72% of male prisoners in the UK are white, so they will inevitably account for the vast majority of sex offenders;

Many more men, of various hues, commit rape than ever end up behind bars… the rape gangs being an obvious example.

I’d hesitate to infer incidence of crime by demographics, simply by extrapolating from who was banged up for it, I think?

Seems to me there’s a lot of assumption going on there. As a realist I prefer to apply common sense based on what we do know. If we already know that 80>% of the population is white, then half that to get an approximation for white men alone, then I’m guessing the % of non-white men is in the single digits, I find it highly unlikely non-white rapists will ever outnumber white rapists, unless there’s a massive demographic shift years in the future whereby whites become a minority, which I know is what Matt Goodwin has forecast.
But for now, best just check our prejudices at the door and accept the available data, which I know most people on here aren’t too good at. This is what a person capable of objectivity would do.

They’ve released the footage of them arresting Henry. This is awful;

”Hampshire police have released the body-cam footage of the murder of Henry Nowak. There is no doubt that the police have hell to answer for. I cannot use the words I want to describe the officers without getting into trouble.”

This is apparently the arresting officer;

”The Antiwhite Police officer who called Henry Novak a liar about being stabbed, ignored his cries for help, refused Henry critical life saving care & intentionally let him die because he was White is Tristan Parsons of Hampshire.”

Absolutely horrific. How all of those present can live with what they did to poor Henry is beyond comprehension. My thoughts go to Henry’s family who have to live with this image of their sons last minutes alive. As has been said before, where is the outrage.!

”I’ve seen the body worn. I never judge incidents unless I was there or have heard people who were. But I’m going to judge this. This is a serious breach of at least three established operational protocols. Basic day one training school stuff. It’s sloppiness, pure and simple.
The protocols: 1. Immediate DR ABCE after the ‘I’ve been stabbed’ 2. Get those MOPs out of the way/scene asap 3. Handcuffing is unnecessary Yes, everyone knows (few will admit) that the police are institutionally captured, but I don’t see it here. It’s sloppiness.

There’s a lot we don’t know yet about the Hampshire officers’ experience, training, and operational junior leadership. But sticking to protocols will ALWAYS mitigate 1 – 3 above. And then there’s basic humanity, which many of us lose as we navigate this job.
NEVER be influenced by a crowd. ALWAYS do a DR ABCE even if you think someone is faking. Never handcuff a clearly injured person unless they’re fighting. And, important this, remember Control/Dispatch were not present. They rely on what they are told, often by the offender.”

Its a first. Arrested for being a murder victim.

And… despite, “I’ve been stabbed [I don’t think so opines PC Plod] … I can’t breath”… Officer Plod asks the murderer if he’s been injured and is he all right. Just a bruised eyelash apparently.

And… when it finally penetrates the thick skulls of these idiots that he has been stabbed and they are looking at who did it, do they hand-cuff the suspect like his victim?

No.

Falling birth rates are an existential threat – yet the political class is silent

This really isn’t complicated. Double income couples, generally less likely to have large families, have a great deal more freedom to choose: where they live, how they live and with whom they live.

Instinct is the driver: ‘Primates have a strong psychological preference for autonomy. They prefer tasks where they can choose their own sequence of actions, and “choosing to choose” is often intrinsically rewarding in itself…’

https://www.patriciamuir.com/blog/what-we-can-learn-about-motivation-from-monkeys

Politicians, as usual enpomped in splendour in Dunces Lane and elsewhere, do no research; have no clue, don’t care; classic examples from Australia: “Have one for mum, one for dad, and one for the country”, treasurer Peter Costello famously said in 2004. In 2020, former prime minister Tony Abbott suggested the wrong kind of women were having children, calling on “middle class” women to have more.’

Research confirms what instinct drives: ‘…around one-in-five surveyed by the United Nations said fears about the future would or has resulted in them having fewer children than they wanted.’

With the current incumbents of No 10 and No 11 Dunces Lane, it is nothing short of a miracle that anyone in this country is even considering a family…

I believe that we are inherently capable, on a subconscious level, of looking at our environment and decide that it is a not suitable place to bring children into.

On the other hand, to counter that argument, the most ‘fertile’ place on earth is apparently Gaza… 🤷🏼

Even in England, historically, birth rates were higher when the likelihood of surviving childhood was lower. My great grandma had as many as 6, but that was not unusual then. Not all 6 of them became adults. Psychology in action, perhaps.

‘Some research has shown in Palestinian populations, and others under threat, that they see having children as a way of resistance, in a way…That’s kind of seen as a continuation of a bloodline that’s been under threat in various ways for 100 years.’

Britain has seen something similar in Northern Ireland:

‘During the 1970s and 1980s, the Catholic total fertility rate was over 50% higher than the Protestant fertility rate in Northern Ireland.’ About 4 children per Catholic family.

Now, in more peaceful times, Catholics now outnumbering Protestants in Northern Ireland, birth rates in both communities are much closer (Catholic 2.1, Protestant 1.6).

England? 1.39…
