Why did police handcuff Henry Nowak?” – A Sikh man, Vickrum Digwa, is standing trial for the murder of a Polish student, Henry Nowak… notes ANDREW TETTENBORN (not Douglas Murray) in the Spectator.

Notice that the White Man was STABBED WITH A SIKH CEREMONIAL DAGGER called a “KIRPAN”, which Sikhs keep claiming is “only ceremonial”, which is why every Sikh man and boy is unjustly allowed an EXEMPTION from UK law against carrying knives. Every Sikh boy is allowed to wear a Kirpan Disembowelling Dagger beneath his clothing to SCHOOL, where they taunt their classmates by boasting that they are allowed to carry daggers, while British boys are not.

“Previously, the court heard the defendant was carrying a 21cm (8in) blade in a SHEATH AROUND HIS NECK in Belmont Road at about 23:30 GMT.”

“The prosecution says the KIRPAN – a religious knife – caused five stab wounds to Nowak, including two to the back of his legs and a fatal wound to the chest.”

The appalling “judge” implied to the jury that stabbing the victim 5 times in the chest and legs wasn’t really intended to kill him (???), so the Sikh shouldn’t be charged with “murder” !!! Has money changed hands here, we wonder ???

“The judge, William Mousley KC, told the jury that he had ordered Digwa to face a charge of manslaughter as an alternative to the murder charge.”

“Explaining the new charge, the judge told the jurors: “If a person may not have deliberately have caused the fatal injury or may not have intended to kill or cause reasonably serious harm, he or she is not guilty of murder.”

The Sikh man “Digwa is also charged with carrying a knife in public. HIS 53-year-old MOTHER, KIRAN KAUR, is accused of REMOVING A WEAON FROM THE SCENE.”

“The defendant told the court Nowak pulled his phone out to record.”

“Digwa said he grabbed the phone and was then punched by Nowak.”

Digwa does not remember Nowak being stabbed in the chest.” (!!!???)

“The London Assembly is assessing complaints from Labour and the Tories against the Green leader over tax owed on his narrowboat mooring in east London, says the Times.”

Well, sad to say we know in advance that the outcome depends entirely on which party controls the assembly.

Camille Paglia: ‘The feminist establishment tried to dismiss me’

Here’s something that’s always baffled me: why do feminists (and those that are feminist, but are now too embarrassed to wear the badge) aggressively assert the ridiculous notion that men and women are identical, and it’s only the ‘patriarchy’ (nasty, horrible, men) that have carefully concocted a lie – the lie being that male and female humans are different, but are actually physiologically and psychologically identical – whilst trying their very hardest to be like nasty, horrible, men? What I mean is that why are men comfortable with the most basic of observations that the sexes are different, but feminists (badge and no badge wearing), want to believe we’re the same? And, for all the appearance of a need for men to be more like women, what feminists (badge and no badge) actually believe is that women should be more like men – the identity they passionately strive for is peculiarly male (yes, I understand the basic idea of behaviour difference doesn’t exist in the feminist mind) . Men are happy with the sex-based differences, but feminists (badge and no badge) are not – they want to be like the horrible,… Read more »

I think the word “feminist” is useless unless you define it. I don’t know a single woman who thinks men and women are identical – I also don’t know any men who think that they are superior in every respect to women. In my little world, men and women are largely getting on with their lives as best they can without thinking much about feminism or differences between the sexes. Small sample size, maybe the the people I know are exceptional.

As I’ve said before, I’d like to live in your world. The fact that you need it defining (like everything can be understood as long as its clearly defined) underlines the different worlds we’ve inhabited and will, I believe, always inhabit.

Some words seem to have the same meaning for most people, others, for example “racism”, not so much. If you’re making blanket statements about an entire sex it doesn’t seem unreasonable to request a definition of a word that gets thrown around a lot. I genuinely don’t have any reliable notion of what you or anyone else means by the word. I’m open to arguments, feel free to engage or just write me off as living in a different world, despite the fact that you know almost nothing about me.

I see it as women and men being allowed to do the same things i.e. drive a car, ride a horse, do the washing up. What is so baffling about that?

His pledge to increase council tax bills is a sure vote winner. Brilliant strategy. Burnham has bagged it!

The whole mess is an unedifying picture of the state of British politics at the moment.

It’s right across the political spectrum, to be fair, but this bunch of scheming midwits are surely the worst?

A tale of two deaths: sainthood for George, silence for Henry

Different countries, of course… if you’re going to make comparisons, a better one might be the different reactions to the deaths of Floyd and Iryna Zarutska, at the hand of a man who shouldn’t have been there the latter resulting in what might as well have been a collective sigh of indifference and bien pensant, liberal progressives focussing on everything but the cause.

Bishop of Oxford and imam ask Oxford Union to withdraw Tommy Robinson invitation

What they should have done is ask to be included and be allowed to have someone to speak against the motion… but, no, they’d rather just have him silenced.

They needn’t bother, because the brainwashed Oxford Union students have elected a Smug Algerian Palestinian Muslim female activist named Arwa Hanin El-Rayess as their “President”, and it was she who invited Patriot Tommy to be roasted and shouted down, exactly as the BBC Question Time invited Patriot Nick Griffin to be roasted and shouted down in 2009. She is just trying to use Tommy’s successful 2026 Unite the Kingdom march in order to draw attention to herself and bask in his reflected glory. You can see that a mile off.

In my opinion, Tommy should decline, because it’s just an Invitation to a Stitch-Up. He has already spoken with great dignity at a previous Oxford Union meeting, and doesn’t need to keep proving himself again & again. There is no point in trying to debate with members of the Unholy Muslim-Marxist Alliance, or Eco-Zealots, or Vegans. It’s a waste of time and energy, and achieves nothing.

The clerisy has always been jealous of its control over what people think and believe.

Once-upon-a-time, translating and/or publishing the Bible in English instead of Latin, or reading it out in public was punishable by an unpleasant death.
