“Revealed: Hermer’s ‘excessive’ fees for Iraq ‘witch hunt’”
He charges £450 and hour. Maybe that’s the going rate for the job – but of course, the ex-squaddie with PTSD on a low income has no means of raising that kind of money for a defence QC, and blind justice tips the scales again.
“after the Supreme Court ruled that gender means biological sex, the Government has still failed to implement workable guidance”
” drop your kecks,..your a man…your a women..easy peasy!”
“Robot beats elite table tennis players at their own game”
Why not get two of them to play each other?
I’m sure that wouldn’t get boring really quickly, hours and hours of two robots knocking a ball across a table because neither is programmed to lose! Wow, how mesmerising,.. Get your tickets here!
“Three migrants guilty of gang-raping drunk woman on Brighton beach”
One of them was a convicted murderer on the run from Egyptian authorities!
“I dont won’t to go to a hell hole prison in Egypt for the rest of my life! Where should I run to? 🤔….ENGLAND! yes, I’ll be looked after there!”
“Officers on the northern French coast have been structurally unable to stop migrants boarding dinghies”
“structurally unable”? WTF? 🔪 sorted!
VAT raid on private schools costs Scotland £60 million in first year
£1.8bn / 6,500 = £276,923
Nearly £277k per teacher per year. They must be expecting hyper-inflation.
It’s safe to say she really doesn’t like Starmer. ”And so say all of us!” I think it was his hypocritical comment about ”plastic patriotism” what done it. Talk about ‘projection’…;
”Actually, Keir… From the United States of America, your flag, that blood-red cross of St George, now flies as the tattered banner of the emerging Islamic Republic of Britain. Thanks to you, you invertebrate Fabian f*ck. You are plastic incarnate: a synthetic careerist, extruded from the same Blairite mould as every other rootless cosmopolitan who mistakes managed decline for moral progress and demographic conquest for “enrichment.”
You preach “unity over hatred” and “quiet British patriotism” while your policies have midwifed grooming gangs, no-go sharia zones, and two-tier justice that treats native Englishmen like suspects in their own ancestral homeland. Southport’s slaughtered children became your Reichstag fire…an excuse to smear working-class Brits as “far-right” while the machete mobs and the rape gangs (the ones your own DPP tenure helped shelter through institutional silence and political correctness) kept operating with impunity. History doesn’t lie, Keir. Neither does the arithmetic.
The boats keep landing. The parallel societies metastasise. The grooming inquiries you diluted for years only surfaced because the public dragged… Read more »
We led the civilised world for a long, long time. Now we continue to lead, but as an example of what not to do.
A leading Swiss bank has warned that sterling could crater to Liz Truss mini-budget levels if Angela Rayner ends up in Downing Street, says the Telegraph.

The Liz Truss government was at the tail end of a long slide against the US dollar. It barely affected the value of the pound against the Euro.

Sorcha Eastwood. Thank goodness, on this matter at least, there’s an MP with a heart and a brain in the House of Commons.
“Poll finds Reform would need Tories to govern”
Potentially, thats three years from now. Who is brave enough to predict what will happen.? Lets see the result of the locals to get a clue about how much of the Tories will be left.
The local elections could prove to be a seminal moment for Reform, I think?
If they make substantial gains and the results, in 3 years time, evidence a complete car crash of ineptitude, they’re finished.
If, on the other hand…
The DM is trying to muddy the water for Reform by suggesting they will align with the Tories. That won’t happen.
More likely, as the GE arrives, any remaining (sic) Tory voters will smell the coffee and realise at last cthat only Reform can win – then they will abandon the Tories.
The arithmetic is clear: any deal would cost Reform a large part of its support and membership while a deal woul lead to the dismissal of Badenock and/or the departure of half of her MPs and officials to LibDems. The aggregate vote would be lower than Reform’s.
Reform has not frozen at 30 per cent. It may be the next (say)N 5-10 per cent will take a bit longer to recruit but we will do it. Canvassing says this is is in a seat the pollsters say Tories would win but I very much doubt it on the evidence.
Does anyone know why the Daily Fail is so anti reform and still pro Tory? I assumed they’d be all for Reform? Is it the brexit issue?
Same with the DT. Probably they are all mates with senior Tories. Our Gracious Host probably has an insight but may not wish to say.
Hopefully none…
“Tucker Carlson has had a change of heart”
Always a strange figure. I dont think he’s half as clever as he thinks.
Agree – I listened to his extended interview on the Joe Rogan podcast and I came away with the impression that he likes the sound of his own voice above anything else.
“Guardian: At 1.5°C 90% of coral reefs will die”
Appalling fear porn. Haven’t we all seen through this nonsense now.?
Well, consider the types of people who read that comic…
The Grauniad editorial copy reminds me of those charity ads on late night TV (when gullible senior people are watching): “Donate now, just £4 a month will restore the sight of an African donkey”
Or ten quid will buy an impoverished family a rubber dinghy and outboard…..
“Epsom rape claims came after woman ‘made confused report’”
How bizarre…
Was she full of semen or not? simples!
