  • “Eight in 10 Brits want Covid quarantine to return for infected travellers from China as new testing rules start on Thursday” – An alarming new YouGov poll shows 83% of Brits want people who travel to the U.K. from China and test positive for Covid to be made to self-isolate, the Mail reports. Though it is YouGov.
  • “Zero Covid Ends but Zero Sense Continues” – Where are the fact checkers when such levels of misinformation and blatant fear-mongering about China’s Covid outbreak are published on the front page of the New York Times, asks Debbie Lerman at the Brownstone Institute.
  • “Self-isolation not required for travellers from China who arrive in U.K. with Covid” – Mark Harper, the Transport Secretary, says the testing is being introduced for “collecting information” as Beijing refuses to share coronavirus data, the Telegraph reports.
