HUMZA YOUSAF , how could it happen
The world is a better place with people like Mark Steyn.
Absolutely, Stewart. Mark has been and continues to be a beacon of light in an increasingly gloomy world. He handles serious subjects with humour and wit while exposing the utter lack of moral fibre of our (so called) leaders that is prevalent in the West. Kate Hopkins had a good take on GB News recently although she didn’t mention Neil Oliver who continues to delight with his monologues. I’m so glad that Mark is back with his own show.
“Censors Use AI to Target Podcasts” – The collapse of support for free speech among Western pseudo-elites is the foundation of so many other problems
I predict AI will be used to parse all kinds of media to detect wrongthink, not just in the social media sphere but in the workplace, education.
I don’t know what the article considers as the “pseudo elite” but most people I know are a bit flaky on freedom of speech, few are absolutists. They would generally say they are against “hate speech” such as over racism, certainly until you point out how censorship will end up being abused. There’s a way to go before we get to the point where true freedom of speech is given its proper value.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2023/02/23/drivers-lose-interest-electric-cars-petrol-prices-tumble/
This is one of several articles I have seen recently illustrating the problems and issues with EVs but these articles fail to follow through with any analysis or conclusions, are they hoping to prepare the way for a change in Government policy?
As it is; next year there is a Government quota for 22% of car sales to be EVs which will increase up to 2030 when the sale of conventional ICE cars will be banned. At which point comparisons of EV and ICE cars will become irrelevant as there will be no ICE cars available. The logical conclusion is that unless there is a rapid and significant change in technology, pricing and electric supply in the UK and if current Government car policy remains unchanged; the UK will see a massive decline in private car ownership and usage. It is difficult not to conclude that this is the unspoken and unstated objective of the net-zero powers that be.
If this happens it will be a monumental social change, much of the UK has grown up as the ‘Top Gear’ generation with cars at the cornerstone of life. Much of Holiday, Leisure tourism and social life centres around the car. Without a car life in many rural areas becomes quite difficult. There is little sign that this or a possible future Labour Gov will change this EV car policy, in which case IMO it will lead to an incredible seismic shift for the worse in the lives of most ordinary people. Is this really going to happen?
It seems like it , I wonder how the car industry will be compensated when the morons in government do actually ban ICE vehicle sales & will the ban encompass the commercial ,construction & agricultural arenas . Also what are other countries plans , do they match our pathetic “we can save the planet” machination’s.
The 2030 ban on ICE vehicles includes light vans. I guess large businesses will negotiate major EV van lease deals and operate their own charging points at their depots. This will be to the detriment of many small businesses like plumbers and electricians who will find it hard and expensive to run an EV van. I rather fear the switch to all EV light vans will be another nail in the coffin of small businesses, which does rather seem to be another globalist objective.
Yes it is their plan ,which will affect me for certain , it’s amazing that as you say the big firms will have their own charging systems allowing them to carry on while small business can’t , in fact just like during lockdowns
I don’t think this is even possible. People just don’t want them, can’t afford them or worry about being stuck in the highlands miles from a charging point. They are a total smokescreen, another unthought out idea especially in a land where we get little sun and variable wind and where charging points are charged by power stations that are either gas powered or nuclear. It’s more nonsense and is all part of the playbook to destroy our lives.
The Mail has gone full on with the bird flu story & Pants down has been wheeled out again ffs , the beaky disease will have to go some though to match the Jabathon damage , a possible threat gets full attention while an actual factual event is in progress !
Moderna need an ’emergency’ as they are struggling to get their mRNA flu vaccine off the ground.
https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/moderna-flu-vaccine-delivers-mixed-results-trial-2023-02-16/
It wouldn’t surprise me if the morons who are still lining up for yet more mRNA will be the same jab junkies who’ll buy into whatever they’re told is best for them next. It’s a mentality thing now. Actually it’s an I.Q test at this point!
Let them get on with it but in my view a tipping point has been reached and there’s way more sane people than spiked-up loonies.
I am beginning to hear more ‘it’s probably the vaccine’ admissions from people who were most likely completely hoodwinked. This waking up process is a slow burn but it is happening. Not fast enough in my opinion but it’s something at least.

Oh look what the Next Tuesday is up to now. Well he has gone for food so I suppose drinks were next inevitably.
Stay away from Heineken drinks and support local brewers.
Gates can’t stop himself can he, HP? He’ll probably be introducing some GMO products into the brewing process. Somehow it doesn’t fit with his current portfolio so I am wondering why on earth buy stakes in a beer company unless he has plans to launch liquid vaccines into the beer…
GMO grain crops….

I can imagine there’s a lot of people who never vent or say anything about woke but are quietly seething.
Probably realised that there is more money to be made by keeping the original in print.
Q: Why are Policeman’s Balls bigger than Fireman’s Balls?
A: Because more people go to Policeman’s Balls.
Sorry couldn’t resist.
