Government vaccine advisory committee the JCVI has advised that a “non-urgent offer” of two weakened doses of the Pfizer vaccine be made to all children aged five to 11 years. In giving this advice, the committee is clear that the vaccines will not prevent infection or transmission and this is not the purpose of vaccinating children: “Protection against non-severe infection due to the Omicron variant is less good and is anticipated to be of relatively short-duration (weeks).” The purpose instead is “to increase the immunity of vaccinated individuals against severe COVID-19 in advance of a potential future wave of COVID-19”.
The committee says this is a “one-off pandemic response programme” and may not carry forward into normal times: “As the COVID-19 pandemic moves further towards endemicity in the U.K., JCVI will review whether, in the longer term, an offer of vaccination to this, and other paediatric age groups, continues to be advised.”
The JCVI acknowledges the prevalence and strength of natural immunity in the age group: “It is estimated that over 85% of all children aged five to 11 will have had prior SARS-CoV-2 infection by the end of January 2022, with roughly half of these infections due to the Omicron variant. Natural immunity arising from prior infection will contribute towards protection against future infection and severe disease.”
As to the benefit of vaccination, the committee admits to a “high level of uncertainty over a range of assumptions in relation to future estimates of disease in children aged five to 11”. Indeed, its estimates of the benefits amount to speculative modelling of future waves, with an acknowledgement there are many unknowns and the level of benefit (if any) depends on how severe future waves are, how soon they appear and how the associated variants interact with vaccine and natural immunity.
We have to ask then, given that children were already at very low risk from earlier, less mild variants and when they had less natural immunity, how can they be expected to derive any real benefit from being vaccinated now that almost all of them have been infected, and now that Omicron – a mild variant which substantially evades the vaccines – is dominant?
If the benefits are uncertain even to exist, the harms are clear. The JCVI notes that in America, 8-10% of the eight million five to 11 year-olds vaccinated reported at least one day absent from school following vaccination. You read that right: around one in 10 had a reaction to the vaccine so severe they had to have time off school.
In terms of serious side-effects, the JCVI statement links to a CDC study which it says shows fewer than two cases of vaccine-related myocarditis per million doses in this age group. However, another recent study found post-vaccination myocarditis adverse events were underestimated under the VAERS definition used in the CDC study. The JCVI also acknowledges that “the medium to long-term (months to years) prognosis remains less certain”. It’s worth noting in this regard that rates of post-vaccination myocarditis are much higher in older children. The JCVI rightly does not compare the frequency of vaccine-related myocarditis to that of Covid-related myocarditis, presumably because it accepts that the vaccines do not prevent infection so the comparison is invalid.
We should add there are also other serious side-effects besides heart inflammation reported to VAERS and the MHRA not considered in the JCVI advice.
Overall, it’s hard to see how the JCVI’s statement backs up its advice, as it shows very uncertain benefit (if any) but known levels of harm, plus it acknowledges the existence of unknown risks.
How much was this advice a political decision, responding to the prods of parents who are unduly fearful or want to go on holiday, of pharmaceutical companies with products to flog, and of politicians being leaned on by both? (See Dr. Zoë Harcombe’s revealing summary of the conflicts of interest of JCVI members.)
Whatever the motive, it is a deplorable decision that will live in infamy. From the tentative way it’s written you have to say that many of the JCVI members seem to know it. I imagine many of them will be very glad when the ‘pandemic’ is over and they can reverse this discreditable advice.

yes, I believe that to be correct. I understand Comirnaty the Pfizer/Biontech shot is not given out in the US but available to be used in Europe. There seems to be some muddying of the water in my mind as I believe this is connected to product liability. Is it because Comirnaty is approved for use in the US but does not enjoy protection of indemnity because the approval does not include for the use in children and until it is approved for children it is not covered by the 1986 law, therefore the makers are fully responsible for any compensation for harm caused ? The plan is presumably to add covid (some variant or other) to this list and fully normalise it. For example, rubella poses hardly any threat to kids – it’s allegedly about protecting pregnant women and their babies – though if they had been allowed to have rubella as kids they would have natural immunity and their babies would be safe. Chicken pox is almost always really mild and way better to get as a child than as an adult. Tetanus is only a danger if you have a dirty and deep puncture wound, which oxygen cannot get to – extremely unlikely in today’s sanitised kids. Not much polio or diptheria around in these parts. Etc.

I would take issue with your claim that we vaccinate children against diseases “they are under very little threat from”. Diptheria, Polio. Tuberculosis and Whooping cough (against which I was vaccinated) are potentially deadly or very life inhibiting. Measles (which I caught but against which my children and grandchildren are vaccinated) is life-threatening and can cause blindness. Mumps is not a major disease in children but is much more serious and can cause infertility if caught later in life and rubella is a minor childhood illness which can cause severe damage to the foetus in a pregnant woman. There are very valid reasons why we vaccinate children against these diseases.

Yes, all these diseases can either cause death or severe complications. At the same time, there are many other factors to take into account, just as with covid, such as the prevalence of the disease, the susceptibility of each individual, and living conditions, which includes stress levels and social status as well as hygienic conditions. The blanket vaccination of all children regardless is a question that is no different for these other diseases than it is for covid. We are just so used to the idea that we accept it without necessarily weighing all this up. So eventually we will do the same for covid. Do you know what I mean? I had measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox as a child and as a result have lasting natural immunity to all of them. The last three were extremely mild. Measles was not at all nice, but back then (earlu 1980s, before it was routinely vaccinated against) there was no panic – just like with the flu my mother took care of me, didn’t try to suppress the fever and I got better by myself. It’s also worth remembering that the death rate from measles complications was already falling sharply before routine vaccination was introduced. More anecdotal evidence: my mother had polio as a young woman and lived to then have 5 children. There is simply much more to this all than the potential danger to life represented by these diseases.

I make no bones about believing that depopulation is behind much of what is occurring to us nowadays. The above essay makes clear that the plandemic is simply the front line, the veneer, the cover for all else that is going on.

I visualise the “mRNA tech” as a delivery mechanism, and the specific spike-goop as the payload. (or the tech as a gun but the spike as the bullet.)
Pfizer recently said they were working on an “Omicron” version of the goop which was said to be ready by the summer. But surely that’s too quick if the regulatory cycle is to be followed correctly.
This is a question I’ve had for a while, surely each distinct payload delivered by this technology is an entirely new ‘jab’, and therefore subject to new trials?
Or is mRNA tech being seen as a shortcut to approving new payloads with reduced regulatory scrutiny?

If you look at this video what may surprise you is the clapping-seal mentality of Heather McDonald’s audience. When the crass, vulgar and loud-mounted McDonald ridicules and sneers at people that don’t accept the “vaccines”, the audience agrees with loud claps and punching their fists into the air.
McDonald and her audience gives a clue as to why the government feels it can go ahead and force the gene therapies on kids. They know that there’s a very large number of clapping-seal types out there who will unquestionably offer their children to the altar of Big Pharma and the Cabal.
They do seem to be of a type. And one of the characteristics seems to be the disdain for alternative points of view. I suspect the sneering is the narcissistic act to hide the underlying anxiety, fear and sense of inadequacy that haunts them.

My question is: Why do the JCVI now feel under so much pressure to tailor their advice to the whims of the pharmaceutical industry and the government? Very recently, their consensus was staunchly against the vaccination of an even older group (11-15 year olds). So why now do we see this watered-down, pressured, “new opinion” of the JCVI that they must compromise and pander to some of the pro-vaccine panjandrums? Are they worried about their credibility when vast swathes of the population have been converted to the religion of Pfizerism?

Well, there’s a bigger picture which no one’s being honest about. That’s it really. This is a global program, there’s big money behind it, and everyone who values their lifestyle is going along with it.
