Health Secretary Sajid Javid gave the Downing Street press briefing today – the first one in five weeks. The headline news is that the Government isn’t implementing ‘Plan B’, although Javid did add the ominous words “at this point”. He said the NHS was not under unsustainable pressure, the link between infections, hospitalisations and deaths had been weakened by the vaccines and announced that the Government has spent considerable sums on some “game-changing” treatments developed by Merck and Pfizer. MailOnline has more.
Sajid Javid today batted away demands from NHS bosses for the Government to revert to its Covid winter ‘Plan B’ amid surging infections and a sluggish booster vaccine programme.
The Health Secretary insisted ministers would not reintroduce face masks and WFH guidance “at this point” as he addressed the nation from the podium at No 10’s first Covid press conference in a month.
Mr. Javid said that while the NHS was seeing ‘greater pressure’, he was confident the pressure was not ‘unsustainable’. He said ministers would ‘stay vigilant’ because cases could still rise to 100,000 a day this winter.
The decision by the Government to hold its nerve on restrictions will anger NHS leaders who claim hospitals are already buckling under the weight of Covid, flu and backlogs caused by the pandemic.
Mr. Javid used the press conference to urge Britons to come forward for their booster jabs in a bid to speed up the sluggish vaccine campaign — which has only seen a quarter of care home residents revaccinated.
He said that the country was still ahead in the race against the virus thanks to the initial Covid vaccination effort, but claimed that waning immunity meant that lead was “narrowing”.
Pleading with the country to get their booster, Mr. Javid added that not only would a booster save lives, it would also “protect our freedoms”. “Boosters could not be more important,” he said.
Daily infections are currently on the brink of passing the 50,000 milestone for the first time in months. Department of Health bosses today recorded 49,139 positive tests, up 15% on the previous week.
Meanwhile, hospital admissions rose by 15.3% week-on-week to 869, while deaths jumped by nearly a third to 179. Both measures lag behind case numbers by a few weeks, due to the time it takes for someone to become seriously unwell after catching the virus.
Mr. Javid also announced the U.K. has bought hundreds of thousands of “game-changing” pills that can be used to treat Brits with Covid at home this winter.
The U.K. has bought 480,000 antiviral molnupiravir pills made by US pharmaceutical company Merck and 250,000 PF-073 courses from Pfizer. They still need to be approved by the U.K.’s medical regulator before Britons can get their hands on the drugs.

It is actually different to Ivermectin, so it not only differs in cost it is also less effective and less safe.
Pfizer however are working on an Ivermectin equivalent, just slightly different to Ivermectin, so it should be nearly as effective and nearly as safe, just a lot more expensive.

I can only speak from experience. The area where I work apparently has the highest number of *cases* in the country. I read the notes of maybe one in ten of randomly assigned inpatient stays. Covid infections are rare at the moment, ie not seen one in two weeks. That may change, but cases mean nothing.As we know.
I know how many cases of flu were rerported in the week of 15th feb 1991 nobody cared then and nobody cares now we are being made to care about counting people in the UK who may have or may not have the “sniffles” Madness .What would 50000 cases a day even mean in real terme how many peope a day are recovering how many people a day are testing negative .All of that kind of thing could be helpful surely ?

They show admissions but then they dont qualify with discharged, so if you go to A&e because you feel unwell, have covid but are not serious to be hospitalised the figures do not seperate this out, thus the admissions figures are pointless as they have no context. Yes there could be 890 admissions but 400 could have been discharged within 24 hours or sooner. But then the figures wouldnt look so scary. Also you could have gone in with a broken leg, or been knocked over, but if you test positive for Covid, Bingo Covid admission

Just about every action taken from the beginning has made things worse, not better. In the beginning one could forgive them for not knowing what to do for the best. After a year and a half, with all the data that can be easily found – comparing places that used masks, those that didn’t, places that incarcerated people and those that didn’t, huge increases in infection rates after vaccine roll-out, increase in infection rates after school holidays, etc. – it is quite clear that doubling down (or is that tripling down?) on the same failed actions, knowing they will fail again, is completely intentional.
The only question is, is this because they have gone so far now that they cannot now admit that everything they did was wrong (in particular giving people a vaxx that may be causing ADE) and so must soldier on doing an updated version of Comical Ali, or is there a wilful intent to crash the economy and do some building back, better or otherwise? And perhaps bump off a few ‘useless eaters’ as a bonus.

The Merck drug Molnupiravir is said to be as effective as ivermectin, but reports on TrialSiteNews suggests that not only are the results a bit sniffy but the drug works by inducing mutations in the RNA of the virus to cause defects preventing replication.
The thing is though that it will also cause mutation in DNA and researchers examining the drug consider that it may result in cancers in patients taking it.
There is no possible other reason for the trial excluding pregnant and breast-feeding women and men and women attempting to conceive a child – but we do not know if the EUA they are pursuing will contain the same advice (after all it worked for the mRNA spike gene therapy drugs).
The vaccines don’t work and never have. Anyone that has analysed the Pfizer study can see it’s a statistical marketing tour de force, deliberately ignoring in the PR blurb, an ARR of 0.8% which is essentially useless. Case rates, the number of which is complete fiction derived from unfit-for-purpose tests, was starting to flatline before the introduction of the experimental therapy. Worldwide you see cases immediately accelerate post vaccination. We have 1719 vaccine deaths reported via the Yellow Card system, which equates to 5.6 deaths a day from the vaccine rollout on Dec 8th 2020 and this is drastically under reported. This experimental gene therapy does not prevent transmission, infection, severe illness or death. Post second-shot blood work has shown a large increase in Granulocytes, which is indicative of autoimmune disease. The tanking of Lymphocytes, CD4, CD8 natural killer cells, effectively negating the adaptive immune system. We have Taiwan with more vaccine deaths than those from covid. We have Israel onto their 4th useless booster and the highest vaccinated countries with the most cases. Just say ‘Uttar Pradesh’ to any covidian and watch them turn ashen. We have a government that failed so badly in the early stages of the ‘pandemic’ that they thought their get-out-of-jail-for-incompetence card would be a rapid vaccine rollout. They now know the vaccines don’t work, although they can’t admit as much. So, we have the new overpriced Merck miracle drug to save the day. We had effective treatment protocols last year: HCQ, Ivermectin, D3, Zinc, Niacin, NAC, Quercetin, Vit C. The deliberate and aggressive suppression of these cheap therapeutics is a humanitarian scandal based on Big Pharma lobbying, greed and the underlying goal to inflict digital ids via the backdoor vaccine passport. I only hope I live long enough to see justice served!

Yes, the average unvaxxed covid death is a 78 year-old person with four comorbidities. You can see why healthy kids are being urged to get their gene therapies. It’s clearly a very consistent and measured policy.

If everyone reading the daily sceptic and its commentators agree to stand together and refuse to participate in any Lockdown or Covid guidelines or rules then we can and will break this ridiculous state of terror, but we all have to say No

After Brexit the supplies of food and other commodities are slowing down and it is taking longer to replace them – along comes Covid, very conveniently and the deaths start to rise in relation to the jab and if at first you don’t succeed, try and try again until you can whittle the numbers down even more through successive booster shots, which do work, by doing just that – how about a spanner in the works for vaccines:Nebulizer? Potti? Netti? I really don’t see the point – do my simple cure instead – 1 heaped teaspoon of iodine table or sea salt in a mug of warm water, cup a hand, sniff or snort the mugful in stages, up into your nose/nasal passages and if you get a sore reaction in your head, then you have a virus, so leave the salt water in your head until the soreness stops (2-3 minutes) then blow out your head with toilet paper and flush away, washing your hands afterwards – so do morning, noon and night, or more often, spitting out anything which comes down into your mouth, until you do the flush and you get no sore reaction – when you have cleared the Flu or Coronavirus and Covid won’t occur, ever.
If you think you have a virus, do the above treatment and you will know instantly if you have, not just for the Flu or Coronavirus, but for all other virus based diseases, for which there is no medical solution.
Me: 27 years never ill from viruses, bearing in mind that there are only 2 ways we can get ill from external sources,
1) breath it in, or 2) get a bite, like a Mosquito or a vaccine.
Don’t use saline solution a waste of time if no iodine salt in it. Gargling is a waste of time too, as you will quickly discover, when you do my salt water sniffle AND bonus, you won’t get Long Covid either, because the flush includes the brain bulb, brain stem and inner ears via the escutcheon tubes, which is really interesting to experience, feeling them get cleaned out.
Even if you have had the vaccines, do this when you get your initial head infection (before, or when you self isolate), which everyone will get anyway and murder the infection in your head, before it becomes Covid in your head and body – hence Long Covid and Pneumonia in your lungs = Covid.

It was always a clever plan to ensure doctors didn’t want to see patients, so that those patients had to take themselves to A&E – keeps up the ‘covid’ numbers, doesn’t it? Now, with the coming of autumn, more people who think they’re sick unto death will be off to A&E and bingo! ”Overwhelmed” hospitals – hence a great excuse for lockdown. And so on, and so on….
I work in a public hall and already the irresponsible reporting is having a negative effect on some groups who meet in the building with members not attending because of the media going all out project fear again!!
That means Plan B will be implemented soon.
