This is the second of the weekly round-ups of Covid vaccine safety reports and news compiled by a group of medical doctors who are monitoring developments but prefer to remain anonymous in the current climate (find the first one here). By no means is this part of an effort to generate alarm about the vaccines or dissuade anyone from getting inoculated. It should be read in conjunction with Lockdown Sceptics‘ other posts on vaccines, which include both encouraging and not so encouraging developments. At Lockdown Sceptics we report all news about the vaccines whether positive or negative and give no one advice about whether they should or should not be taken. Unlike with lockdowns, we are neither pro-vaccine nor anti-vaccine; we see our job as to report the facts, not advocate for or against a particular policy. The vaccine technology is novel and the vaccines have not yet fully completed their trials, which is why they’re in use under temporary and not full market authorisation. This has been done on account of the emergency situation and the trial data was largely encouraging on both efficacy and safety. News Round-up
- The U.S. CDC is investigating several dozen reports of heart inflammation in teenagers and young adults after receipt of the Covid mRNA vaccines, reports the New York Times
- According to the India Times, heart attacks and strokes are the leading causes of death among vaccine recipients
- A study in the journal Cureus claims there’s a link between receipt of a COVID-19 vaccine and the onset of Type 2 Diabetes
- America’s Frontline Doctors has done a cost/benefit analysis of the Pfizer vaccine
- The Royal College of Emergency Medicine, The Society of Acute Medicine and Royal College of Physicians have released guidance on treating blood clots caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine
- According to articles in the BMJ and the Telegraph, there are still concerns about giving the Covid vaccines to Children. The AstraZeneca trial involving children and teens has been suspended following fears of blood clots. HART has petitioned Parliament not to give Covid vaccines to children until Phase 3 Trials are complete
- In the U.S., the FDA has given approval for children to receive the Pfizer vaccination following recommendations from the CDC ACIP Committee
- An article in the Journal of Experimental and Clinical Transplantation addresses key concerns about COVID-19 vaccines (pre-print)
- Three people have died in Scotland from what are believed to be side effects of the vaccines, as reported by the BBC and Telegraph
- The BMJ and the UN have both published advice about how to counteract “vaccine hesitancy”, acknowledging that “when you look at hesitancy and parental vaccine hesitancy in the U.S., the group who is most likely to purposefully choose to not vaccinate are highly educated. In speaking with them, these are people who have read the primary literature themselves, and they’re correctly interpreting it, so it’s not a misunderstanding.” (p.26 of the UN Guide to Covid Vaccine Communications)
- EudraVigilance – the equivalent of the Yellow Card reporting system in the EU – has logged reports claiming 10,570 people have died and 405,259 have suffered injuries following receipt of the vaccine in the EU up to May 8th
- VAERS – the American version of the Yellow Card reporting system – has logged reports claiming 5,888 have died from vaccine side effects in the U.S. since 1990, of which 4,196 (71%) are linked to Covid vaccines administered in the last five months

According to an updated report published on May 20th (covering the period up to May 12th), the MHRA Yellow Card reporting system has recorded a total of 822,078 events, based on 235,223 reports. The total number of fatalities reported is 1,178.

Adverse Event Analysis
Pfizer now has one Yellow Card in 355 doses, 2.9 adverse reactions (i.e., symptoms) per card, one fatal reaction in 55,080 doses. AstraZeneca has one Yellow Card in 188 doses, 3.7 adverse reactions per card, one fatal reaction in 41,858 doses. Moderna has one Yellow Card in 137 doses, 2.9 adverse reactions per card, one fatal reaction in 50,000 doses.
Moderna at the moment has reporting rate even worse than AstraZeneca. A point of note is that the Pfizer product always ends up with an average of 2.86 adverse events per card – not only was it the same this week but Moderna also had the same figure of 2.86.

I know of an 18 year old boy with his whole life ahead of him – someone who, if he fulfils his massive potential, could be a shining light of the future – who went for his jab last week because he “wants to be able to travel”. I am crossing my fingers that he doesn’t suffer damage from what has been administered to him.
My Mum is currently in an Acute Medical Unit following a catastrophic decline in her cognitive function and increasing confusion, anxiety and loss of vision.
All this started suddenly, approx 5 days after her 2nd Astra Zeneca vaccine (5 weeks ago); she was absolutely fine before that!
It has been an uphill struggle to get medical attention, and we’ve been continually fobbed off. The doctor qe eventually got out last week suggested ‘talking therapies’!
It now seems she may have been having brain blood clots/haemorrhages since the 2nd vaccine. I don’t know if she’ll recover or if too much damage has now been done, but I FULLY blame the AZ vaccine for causing my Mum’s illness.

I would add that I suppose its too much to ask that the ‘encouraging efficacy’ data is corrected to show absolute rather than relative numbers, which would show approx 1% efficacy of reducing major symptoms only. ‘Safety’ cannot seriously be included in this statement.

Indeed. I would add that those of us determined not to take the c-vax jab on principle or on rational evaluation of the risk, do consider purchasing some ivermectin. Not necessarily for this cycle of virus but for the next. In my darker days I think that if this pathetic version were engineered to start the cycle of control, a different and actually more dangerous version could be waiting in the wings to do real damage.

Why is it that the same community that (quite rightly) emphasises the distinction between dying with Covid and dying from Covid does not distinguish between dying with a vaccine and dying from a vaccine?
Define “with a vaccine”? Not that any of these are vaccines of course.
“With a vaccine” means that the incident happened shortly after being vaccinated.
Let’s say that almost all the reported miscarriages occurred within 48 hours of receiving vaccine but very few were reported more than a week after.

No but it would not mean the vaccines were causing the miscarriages. The key word is “reported”. A much more relevant statistic would be are pregnant women who have recently been vaccinated more likely to have a miscarriage than pregnant women of the same demographic etc who have not been vaccinated.

There is clearly an anomalous spike. If miscarriages had nothing to do with the vaccine then they would be randomly distributed over a defined period (e.g. 50 days) so we’d expect 2% of the total each day – not 25% in one day.
The shorter the time between a vaccination and miscarriage the more likely people are to associate the two and report it. This is independent of the actual frequency of miscarriages. Imagine: If you were a woman who had the vaccine yesterday and quite possibly was still suffering some of the recognised mild after affects and you had a miscarriage – you would quite understandably think it was no coincidence (although it was). Two weeks later, all after effects gone, many other relevant things have happened, and you have a miscarriage. You are much less likely to connect the two.
Point taken, but as the brilliant article in leftlockdownsceptics (as recommended by baboon above) points out only 10% of serious adverse reactions and 1-3% of not so serious adverse reactions are reported. That’s an awful lot of under reporting so whatever preposition you put in front of Covid it needs looking into.

As I have pointed out a couple of times before, the “10% of serious adverse reactions and 1-3% of not so serious adverse reactions” is a quote from an MHRA document in 2019 as part of a campaign to increase reporting following the low reporting of reactions in 2018. Given the hype round Covid vaccines there is no reason to suppose this estimate applies to Covid vaccine reports.
One point arising from the article.
It refers to “ a range of cheap, safe, and effective pharmaceuticals (Vitamin D, Ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc, etc”. I not against using these where they have been proven to be effective and I don’t understand why Invermectin has not been approved by the WHO. However, all pharmaceuticals have side effects. Here is the list for Ivermectin:

You can imagine how if Ivermectin had the publicity that the vaccines have had and 39 million people were taking it, there would thousands of reports of adverse reactions! Also remember that pharmaceuticals, unlike vaccines, you either use them after you have got Covid to help you recover or, if you use them as a prophylactic, then you have to keep taking them whereas a vaccine is one-off (or two-off).

The point is we have 30 years of hard data on Ivermectin. Nearly 4 billion doses have been administered and, according to Paul Marek, just 16 deaths have been reported.
If there was any “over-reporting” of Ivermectin adverse events it would be clearly evident.
I have to say I find your attitude slightly puzzling. You seem to be suggesting that we carry on vaccinating (including children) unless it can be statistically ‘proven’ that the vaccine is causing the adverse events.

The risks need to properly assessed so the public can make an informed choice. That isn’t happening.
I challenge that the risks are not being properly assessed. The vaccines we use have all been through RCTs. All the major agencies charged with vaccine safety are monitoring the hundreds of millions of doses that have been given so far. There has been a mountain of formal research – I entered Covid Vaccine Safety into Science Direct database and got 4,117 papers. Clearly I couldn’t look at them all, but the first ten had discovered no significant safety problems. If any had discovered a significant safety issue then I am sure it would hit the headlines, as it did for the minute risk of CVTs.
As against this we have anecdotes and concerns over the numbers of reports on self-reporting databases.

The Trials only began in Late summer. They are/were not due to be completed until 2023. Several sections of the population were excluded from the trials, e.g. pregnant women. The UK began mass vaccination using a new technology on December 8th.

Yes I understand that phase 3 continues until 2023. But a major part of each has been completed. They comprised double blind randomised placebo controlled trials i.e. the absolute gold standard and the results showed no significant safety issues.

Dr Jessica Ross analysed VAERS data by event type. She used the number of days between the onset of event and the vaccination date. There was a highly significant temporal signal.
I, as an observer, have been genuinely shocked at the number and severity of side effects reported by people I know.
Although all have ‘recovered’, these indicate a level of unwanted response to treatment that is very worrying by any normal standards of mass use.

I think I found the right bit of the video. It seems to be open to precisely the objection I raised here. The shorter the time between two events the more likely we are to think they are causally linked, even though that may not be justified.

Now scroll down to Page 67 Section 8.3.5.1. Pfizer states that the Exposure During Pregnancy (EDP) should be reported to Pfizer Safety within 24 hours.
So EDP can simply mean skin contact or inhalation. There’s no way they could have fully tested pregnant women since November.

Nor am I in that absolute sense – these are terms used by unscientific tossers.
My opposition to take these ‘vaccines’ is based on one simple fact :
They cannot be declared ‘safe; within reasonable margins. The testing regime is a farce in accepted terms, and further doubt has been added by the actuality of side-effects, which are way outside normal expectations.
In terms of circumstantial reasoning – Who would swallow a medication based on a recommendation from proven liars about many issues around this non-epidemic, acting as a PR agency for big financial interests?
It really is a ‘no-brainer’.
I really hate this “vaccine” debate. If I had to go to a country tomorrow that had a Yellow Fever problem, would I take a Yellow Fever vaccine? Of course.
Will I take a “vaccine” for a disease I have a 99.98% chance of surviving, that I know doesn’t confer immunity and that has a high chance of causing my life to be a misery? No.
It is the moral and legal duty of every medic to speak out and openly and not to do so anonymously. Information on the quiet is ignored and makes little difference and we the general public cannot do anything about this. Given that “they” know these vaccines are causing harm to quite a few and yet continue, is no less than intentional maiming and killing and last time I checked these were crimes. More horrifying is that they are coming for the young and even pregnant women. Most have a brain and can look up this information very easily themselves and Dr Vernon Coleman has been providing weekly updates on deaths and adverse reactions for many months now. Some will have seen a recent interview with Prof Luc Montagnier who said these vaccines should not be used they are creating harmful variants and every Govt Scientist knows this so why are they doing it exactly? It was was also said (if a genuine interview of course) that the harm cannot be rectified for those who are now injected and there may be many deaths due to antibody dependent enhancement within the next couple of years. Time will tell but you can’t put it more bluntly than that.
Enough evidence is out there now to know that these experimental gene therapies are killing and injuring people. To say and to do nothing, can now be regarded as being complicit in ‘crimes against humanity’. And in particular for those within the medical and pharmaceutical professions.

It looks like the CDC are having to change their criteria of what constitutes a ‘case’. Of course it is the vaxxed people that will have a harder time registering a case. Why would they do this?
The only reason is big pharma dont want you to know that the vaccines dont work. We have see the claimed efficacy of these vaccines falling over time as people get to test them in the real world as opposed to the manufacturers claims. It would appear that the real figures must be worrying, hence the change of criteria for recording a case.
My guess is that the real efficacy of these vaccines is zero at best. I cant see how a single spike protein is going to fool the immune system to be primed for Covid. Worse, there is plenty of evidence that the vaccine leaves you MORE susceptible to Covid.
That leaves a set of dangerous vaccines that dont protect you against anything. There appear to be a lot of Doctors and researchers sniffing out the real facts about what is going on. People in high places must be worried.
So – let’s extend this a little further :
The task is to create a greater ‘vaccine’ uptake by encouraging stupidity – because blithely accepting the vaccine is an act of lack of education and understanding.

I have a friend early to mid 50’s fit, active and healthy who had his first Jib-ab back in mid-March. In mid-April he noticed a problem with his face, ‘collapsing’, eye drooping on one side and some other symptoms which at first and understandably assumed to be a mini-stroke. He went to see a doctor. As you would. He was diagnosed soon after as having Bell’s Palsy. A very rare and scary affliction. It occurred to me that this might be a bit of a jib-jab coincidence…? So I asked whether he had wondered the same thing.
His response?
“It certainly crossed my mind as a possible side effect but the two events were 5 weeks apart. Still, a possible link, but not so likely I feel. Maybe I should look into it…
2nd jab next week, there’s always the other side!!!!“
He also wondered: “Should I report it under the yellow card? Maybe I should look into it”
Is this what propaganda and brainwashing have done to sensible people? This person is to all intents and purposes an extremely professional, intelligent man for goodness sake, in charge of the finances of a medium-sized business.

Bells Palsy is extremely rare FFS It could have been so much worse, and let’s face it, still could. What is happening to people? This is unnatural.
2nd Jib-jab??? I’d be running over the hills to try and find someone honest and reliable to give me a thorough checkout. Could be a long run that though.

Yesterday a 39 year old English woman died following a likely reaction to having the AZ vaccine(The only one available in Cyprus ,where she was working) with haematological and cerebrovascular problems. It is quite appalling that we seem to have a society that not only has been persuaded the young initially that they “are killing granny” by behaving normally but now they should risk their lives how ever low that risk; because they may transmit a virus, which may then mutate, and may be vaccine resistant, which then may get to granny ,who may then have the worst possible outcome being the one in 20 that dies if 80. This is total and utter madness. Jeremy Hunt should perhaps take time to speak to this families parents and explain how the vaccine was of benefit to her and stop telling us to vaccinate the young..
Face book have also tried to take down support of family and friends as the 39 year old lady narrated her difficulties on the social media. On this Lockdown Sceptics site there is in general an agreement ;but how do we together stop this lack of common sense? Carl Hennigan and Sunetra Gupta have seen what happens if you do not follow Govt doctrine.
Just had a chat with my mother who will do anything for Johnson. I quoted the VAERS figures and Yellow card system, she said its all rubbish and to stop reading up on it. All the while watching the BBC!
