The Department for Education (DfE) has instructed schools to be prepared for the reintroduction of face masks in classrooms and for the return of remote learning in case of “local outbreaks of Covid”. The Times Educational Supplement has the story.
In an email bulletin sent to schools this afternoon [by the DfE] they have been told to ensure they have management plans outlining how they would operate if any of the restrictions in the new Contingency Framework document were to be introduced in their area.
The updated framework also sets out how councils and public health directors can make decisions to introduce Covid safety measures at a single school or cluster of schools but where there is a need to address Covid across an entire area decisions will be taken by ministers.
The new framework tells schools to ensure they have plans in place for:
~ Reintroducing asymptomatic testing sites.
~ Reintroducing mask-wearing in communal areas and/or classrooms.
~ Limiting residential visits, open days, transition days and performances.
~ Limiting attendance to primary school pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
~ Limiting attendance secondary school students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13, as well as vulnerable pupils and the children of key workers.
The document also says that schools should plan for the reintroduction of shielding but says that a decision to bring this back can only be done by the national Government.
In a daily bulletin sent to schools, the department says: “We have updated the contingency framework following the Government’s announcement on enhanced response packages to tackle the Delta variant in some areas.
“The contingency framework describes the principles of managing local outbreaks of Covid in education and childcare settings. It covers all types of measures that settings should be prepared for, which includes those that may be recommended as part of an enhanced response area.
“All education and childcare settings should have outbreak management plans outlining how they would operate if any of the measures described within the contingency framework were recommended in their area for any reason.
“Secondary schools and colleges should ensure their outbreak management plans cover the possibility that it is advised that face coverings should temporarily be worn more widely in settings in their area and that asymptomatic testing sites (ATS) may be required.”
It also says that additional guidance has been issued to the Directors of Public Health advising that they work in partnership with schools and colleges before reinstating ATS.
Schools had previously been told, earlier this year, that they must not implement any of the Covid containment measures without “explicit agreement” from the DfE but the new framework sets out how this can be done at local level if it only involves a small number of schools.
As we reported earlier today, London councils are also hoping to build “temporary body storage facilities” in the event of an “excess deaths situation”, largely due to concerns about the Indian Delta Covid variant. Just when we should be unlocking, the authorities appear to be gearing up for further restrictions.

This is one of those, what’s the point moments for me. Parents have allowed their children to basically be terrorised for over a year. Where are they, why aren’t they outside schools? Why aren’t they fighting for their kids?
Sweden, no masks, teachers less likely than the norm to catch Covid…fact.

As this disease has negligible impact on children and there are infinitesimal cases of children transmitting it to adults, what is the purpose of this nonsense. It is to inculcate the lack of freedom that this totalitarian government has imposed onto another generation.
Of course there are plans – excess body storage, etc – for an autumn death-surge. Hancock knows perfectly well there will be a new death-surge, starting in October, as pathogenically-primed vaccinees begin re-encountering wild virus. Why were the mandatory animal trials waived before these experimental gene-therapy jabs were granted their emergency licenses? Because the animals in past nRNA jab trials have always immediately died when re-encountering live virus in the wild. We had a major death-surge at Christmas and New Year – 25,000 excess deaths in 10 weeks, all directly caused by the jabs, all blamed on a ‘new variant’ virus. Guess what will happen in November. Hundreds of thousands of excess deaths are coming, perhaps millions. Try guessing at the increased scale of restrictions. BACS, pension, leave the house if unvaccinated? Forget it.
The utter ridiculousness we are now seeing from Government needs more than reporting. It needs a thorough pushback from Parents as in America. Teachers are controlled by Unions who rely on Government so nothing to protect our children will come from this area.

Like the “public health passenger locator form” in Britain, which must be completed by all returning subjects who have visited amber countries, it turns out this form was developed by WHO., not Britain. The consistency of all countries following one set of rules by WHO is dismaying. Are these countries unable to think for themselves, based on evidence within their countries. It appears, they are not. Money appears to be the only answer that makes sense. The question is how much and to whom.
Most Western countries have now agreed to formally sign away their sovereignty to the WHO in November.

This morning my partner informs me that in Denmark there’s a system in place where people have ‘got their freedom back’. If you take a Covid test and it’s negative you get 72 hours to do things such as go to ‘events’ (football matches?). But you don’t need to take the test if you’ve been ‘jabbed’.
She said isn’t it great, you get your freedom back.
I said what, for 72 hours?
She said, well it’s your choice, you don’t have to take the ‘vaccination’.
I said that’s not a choice – jab or punishment.

Lateral flow tests are being used in a number of settings where people are required to test themselves and report the result online. This includes school pupils.
There is a fascinating phenomenon where the only area where cases are rising is in some schools, causing covid hysterics to panic about the scary “outbreaks”. It doesn’t seem to occur to them that teenagers might still have some mischievous spirit left in them. What fun to cock a snook at the system and book some time off in the sunshine!
To report the result of this you have to enter the reference number and state that it’s negative!!

I saw a video on brandnewtube a few days ago, where Chris Whitty was hassled whilst walking along streets (of Oxford?) for a couple of minutes… it was cringeworthy to watch as the person who videoed it was just pestering Whitty and issuing a stream of sillyness (eg. “Chris, why won’t you talk to us?”).
Eventually Whitty stops at a police car and tells them this chap is pestering him. But it does show that sometimes even members of SAGE have to go to Waitrose to do their shopping, where you are free to ‘have a chat with them and give your opinion’.
Does that mean, in the spirit of fairness equality and reciprocity and knowing that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, we can stop any police car and tell them that Whitty, Vallance, JVT, SAGE, Independent SAGE, NERVTAG, Ferguson, Bojo, Hancock et al are pestering us? This time it is different, as we have computers running in the background and all is being recorded and organised at the speed of electronics, and we are already slaves to the technology.

We’re seriously considering taking our kiddlywinks ( 14 and 9 ) out of school if this shit continues. They learn fuck all at school anyways and the wife ( who is a teacher ) is giving up work in July so we’re lucky we can do it!
So sad for my Children, one in primary and younger to start in sept. It makes me angry that our society is letting this happen to them. I will fight tooth and nail for them but if they dont want them in school so be it, i will educate them at home myself.

I gave an up-tick for this, having seen it as -2, because it is easy to spout you are going to educate your children at home. This does indeed take money, for food and all the books you need to buy, and how can you do it if you are working to earn money – what are your kids doing when you are out at work for an 8-hour shift with 1 hour each way to drive there, and time needed to go to the shops, wash clothes, do the ironing, vacuuming, cooking….
And what can you do when your kids say they’re not interested and just want to play with their mobile phones… and then call to social services to say you are a rotten parent and are abusing them (even though you aren’t!) ??
And how are you going to get your kids to take the exams and get the certificates? Also, being at home cannot provide the social life they’ll get at school.
Next winter is going to be interesting ….

My friend last night informed me she would continue to wear a mask regardless. I have tried, but she tolerates my arguing against this idiocy & I tolerate her telling me lockdowns & masks work. I guess that’s why we’re friends!
