Police Must Tackle All Sides in Riots With “Equal Ferocity”, Police Leader Says After No Arrests at Birmingham Muslim Riot

by Will Jones
6 August 2024 3:00 PM

Forces must tackle all sides involved in civil disorder with “equal ferocity” a police leader has said, amid a row over “two-tier” policing after no arrests were made at a Muslim riot in Birmingham. The Telegraph has more.

It comes after around 200 mainly Muslim men, some wearing balaclavas and shouting “Free Palestine” or “Allahu Akbar” gathered in the Bordesley area of Birmingham following false rumours that a far-Right march was planned in the area.

Concern was raised when videos began circulating showing one man carrying what appeared to be a large sword and a Sky News crew broadcasting live being forced off the air by masked men.

There was also an attack on the Clumsy Swan pub in the area and police have since confirmed they are investigating allegations of criminal damage.

Richard Cooke, Chairman of the West Midlands Police Federation, representing rank-and-file officers in the region, admitted there were questions over the policing approach to the incident following criticism over the lack of arrests at the scene.

He said: “You look at these videos and it does look bad. You see a load of thugs in balaclavas waving knives around and you don’t see any police.

“There were a number of things that could have happened yesterday and so I think the force was looking at several potential incidents that could have happened and this was one of them.

“It is all about understanding the context to me but there is no doubt that it is not a good look to have criminals marauding in the streets.

“What you are supposed to do if you have someone with a machete or a bladed weapon is send armed support in and of course, they don’t want to do that so I think it is a case that if it is peaceful in the sense of nobody has been injured, I think the conclusion is that it is better to wait.

“There is clear CCTV of the guy with the sword, they need to ensure that he is arrested and people like him are dealt with where there is the evidence, because my worry is that there is a focus on the alleged far-Right protests and I just wonder whether there is the determination to deal with everyone on all sides with equal ferocity given the over stance taken by the political leadership of labelling ‘far-Right’, which may well be the case, but there are clearly other elements coming into play.”

He added: “The excuse often given, and I don’t necessarily agree with it, is that you don’t confront them at the time because on the balance of risk, someone might get hurt if we confront them but actually there is a bigger picture, if you don’t confront them you pay a heavy price in terms of the psychology amongst the wider public says that the police aren’t going to do anything and if you allow that to take root it becomes a bit cancerous.

“To me if I see someone waving swords around I think they have got to be confronted as soon as possible. You cannot let it stand and too often that is what we are seen to do.”

More than 400 people have now been arrested in connection with riots and disorder which began last week in Southport in response to the killing of three girls at a Taylor Swift-themed holiday club.

Worth reading in full.

Elon Musk pinned a video of the incident posted by activist Andy Ngo to the top of his X feed, asking: “Why aren’t all communities protected in Britain? @Keir_Starmer.“

I do like some of the responses to Jess Phillips’ tweet, essentially defending or excusing the Muslim thugs. Lee Anderson posted;

”You need to apologise for this and then resign. You’re part of the problem not the solution. A disgusting tweet. What are you scared of? Losing votes?”

Absolutely brilliant. Armed vigilante gangs are committing violent attacks and – according to Jess Phillipps – the far right is to fault because rumours about it caused those armed vigilantes to gather in public.

The Southport riots also happened because or rumours, BTW. But I guess when the vigilantes are guilty of being white, everything becomes completely different.

May God bless Elon Musk and Richard Cooke, Chairman of the West Midlands Police Federation, for telling the truth! Dozens of videos show Muslim gangs with machetes, swords and disembowelling daggers rampaging the streets, and yet not one has been arrested! Only hundreds of unarmed British Patriots.

Richard Cooke said, ““To me if I see someone waving swords around I think they have got to be confronted as soon as possible. You cannot let it stand and too often that is what we are seen to do.”

We remember brave PC Keith Blakelock, and there is no need for police to risk life and limb by wading in amongst Muslims waving swords. Surely they can just taser the lot, then whack them all with tear gas or paint balls to mark them for later arrest. No need to carefully separate the sword-wavers from the Muslim thugs around them— just taser them all. Haven’t any tear-gas drones or paint-ball drones been invented yet?

For all of what you suggest it requires Political Will and in this country we have NONE. We have surrendered. We have thrown up the white flag.

Baton rounds to the nethers. D-cell is also apparently effective.

Allegedly used in NI instead of baton rounds. D-cells are batteries.

Oh, thanks for all that interesting information! I forgot about all the years of experience gained in Northern Ireland situations. Targeting lower legs with that equipment seems the perfect solution, because it disables the assailants while protecting the security forces. It’s also much better than tear gas, where they just run away and start trouble in another place. I noticed in videos of African gangs attacking lone white men, they always kick the lower legs to bring down the victim, then just keep kicking him on the ground. I don’t know how a victim could defend himself from that. We need all our Ethnic European men to be trained in civilian militias, like in Switzerland.

Years and years ago, I read a biography of the Duke of Wellington, and if I remember correctly, he was trusted and respected by his troops, because he proved time and time again that he valued them as warriors, valued their lives, and tried to protect them as much as possible in his battle decisions, never using them as “cannon fodder”.

Putin & his secret pal Zelensky are the exact opposite, happy to sacrifice thousands of men in their Meatgrinder War. Theirs is more a “Vlad the Impaler” approach.

I predict that by 2029 the UK Government will have re-introduced Diplock Courts.

I am curious to know your views on that, as to whether you think that might be a good thing or not. Jury-tampering does seem a risk when dealing with Muslim criminal cases in a Muslim area with mostly Muslim jurors, because the accused registers “objections” to any non-Muslim…

Solution: locate the trials in mostly not-Muslim areas.

My memory of Diplock Courts is hazy and I haven’t look up the history, so what I say here is just a thought. IIRC the problem was not necessarily jury-tampering or jury-intimidation but simple tribal loyalty coupled to statistics and the need for [near] unanimity on a guilty verdict.. On any jury of 12 random people there would almost certainly be two or more who would likely return a not-guilty verdict based not on overwhelming evidence but on tribal loyalty. This would happen regardless of which “tribe” the defendant belonged to. Consequently one often got repeatedly hung juries and potentially endless re-trials, unless the highly unlikely device of “Judgment notwithstanding verdict” or judge’s directions were invoked. I guess that as “The troubles” waned and various deals were done, it was possible to return to jury trials.
I think there are other devices that might be wheeled out. In principle, a judge can in a criminal trial hear a case without a jury even under existing procedures, though I presume that such a move is extremely rare and surrounded by precautions. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t put it past the current regime to find all manner of ways of appearing to be in control of this two-tier system, whether by way of new primary legislation (easy with their majority) or by application of legal WD40 to rusty old relics.
I don’t think in the UK the accused can register an objection to a juror, other than from personal relationship or narrowly defined situations.

Let me get this straight: Carrying a 3.1″ folding knife peacefully in one’s pocket justifies violent arrest and immediate incarceration without even asking any questions because it’s such a serious crime but when people are marauding through the streets with bladed weapons, then “you don’t confront them at the time because on the balance of risk, someone might get hurt”. Put into other words, it’s only knife crime if there’s clearly no intention to commit any real ncrime. Otherwise, police officers might get hurt and they really prefer to avoid that “without fear or favour”.

Let’s call that zero tier policing: These uniformed people out there aren’t really policemen, they’re just posing as such provided that’s not too much of a hassle for them.

And if you can’t get a decent knife in the supermarket or a handy machete in the DIY store, just pop around to your local Religion of Peace mosque where they carry a large selection for all occasions.

Remember PC Keith Blakelock. I don’t think it’s fair to expect police to wade in amongst the blades and get killed, when there must be safer alternatives, like the Indiana Jones solution, if you remember how he dealt with a sword-waver in a famous scene.

Or rubber bullets, tear gas, paint balls— surely the military can advise on modern technological solutions to this problem.

“so it is better to wait” ———The typical response of the hand wringing protector of multiculturalism and this determination not to offend Muslims. ——Don’t these people realise that if you don’t nip these things in the bud then they only get worse? The very same with the climate nut jobs, they just get bolder and bolder.

““What you are supposed to do if you have someone with a machete or a bladed weapon is send armed support in and of course, they don’t want to do that…”

Of course, of course… unless it had been a White Far Right thug then the entirety of Two Tier Plod would have fallen on him.

”He said: “You look at these videos and it does look bad. You see a load of thugs in balaclavas waving knives around and you don’t see any police.”

Just noticed?

So I guess this is the story the Muslim attackers at Manchester airport have cobbled together as their defense for assaulting police officers;

”Manchester airport press conf summary:
A Muslim Arab passenger on Qatar Airways hurled racial abuse at the mother.
Mother told her sons when she arrived!
The boys gave the Arab Muslim man a good hiding at the Starbucks?
Police came to arrest them in the car park and the boys gave the police a good hiding!
Policeman has been suspended! The younger brother – who wants to join @gmpolice
–
looked remarkably well despite having a cyst on his brain! And they haven’t been charged
And everyone is encouraged to blame the “far right” and “Islamophobes”!”

That comment’s from Twitter. Source here;

They certainly weren’t shy about bearing their ferocity when it came to beating up anti-lockdown protestors and that was in all of the Anglo-Saxon countries. And they did it like predatory pack animals: someone might fall away from the main body of people and then if he looked weak enough they would come in close and give him a good drubbing. Laurens Van Der Post recalls his childhood in South Africa. They were taught to hate and despise the hyena but on a long walk home at night he saw a hyena skulking back to its den. He said at that moment he ceased to hate the hyena and was filled with great compassion because he looked into the eyes of the tormented animal and he saw the saddest and loneliest eyes that he had ever seen.

If a body shows unity the police will be disnclined to attack it because they are always faced with the reality that their numbers will always be smaller and the number on priority is to address this shortfall. Muslims fight as a group and have a sense of brotherhood. Not so much with individualistic westerners. The moment you show real competent intelligent coordinated resistance they will back away from direct confrontation for obvious reasons.

Good points. But surely the Armed Forces can advise on how to effectively disable armed Muslim mobs with zero casualties among the police.

It is a big step to bring armed forces into the equation. It changes things not just in our country but also in terms of how the country is categorised. They are already advising people from other countries not to travel here. If it carries on they will stop flights and then we are off to the races.

The mainstream media must also be called out for downplaying the Horrific Mass Stabbing of 13 Unarmed British People, including 11 little girls, 3 of whom died, some stabbed again & again in the back by an African Anti-White Terrorist, the Snivelling Tutsi Coward from Rwanda.

The mainstream media have reduced all this to “3 girls died”.

A few last great DM quotes from the public on this:

“Even in the USA , one of the most weapons-friendly nations on the planet, a guy wielding a machete was arrested in Wisconsin the other week. Faces 7 years in federal prison. Not sure what’s going on in the UK. Wishing you guys the best.”

“Here in the UK, the police told them to put their weapons in the mosque.”

“Here is the stark difference between the British patriots: all ages, men, women, pensioners, disabled, ordinary people – and the Muslim gangs: all young, fit men of fighting age with weapons, black clothes and face coverings.”

In terms of sheer hunger the situation is going to get a lot worse very quickly just in terms of the effects of wet weather on crop production. We are talking the entire loss of the Chinese rice crop, even in this country relentless rain from February through June. Loss of most crops. Our food security has diminished a lot in the last decade just look at the numbers. Within 2 months you are looking at prices so high that even comfortably off working people might struggle. Then what? Look at history, the great depression for example. FIrst off pets disappear completely – too much meat on em. Farm animals are obviously long gone. And then you are faced with the most difficult decision of all. Do you or don’t you resort to nasty business? – the word beginning with ‘c’. By all accounts within 14 days most people have lost their squeamishness about eating human flesh. And what when that runs out. You’re gonna die.

They are just working class people with mainstream opinions same as the civil service and armed forces and everyone else. They are moving our way very quickly so I wouldn’t make them an enemy. If the British people really got themselves together most of the police would be gone. But you don’t need to do that just make them aware of things. There are points of salience which make a huge difference. It is much better to control their minds than to attempt to control their bodies.

I knew this kind of stuff would happen 20 years ago or more. It is the inevitable friction caused by lumping two opposing cultures together and expecting them all to just get along nicely because the UN/WEF and our pathetic globalist politicians say we should, or we are all “Racist”
