”The historic European cities of London and Paris have changed beyond all recognition following years of open borders, former U.S. President Donald Trump has said.

What a numpty. That said, the ‘but was eventually allowed to vote‘ suggests someone bending the rules for him. What happened was he went home and picked up the required ID (or maybe someone brought it to him). It’s simply another example of him being an absent-minded pillock.
