Happy Christmas to All Our Readers

by Toby Young
25 December 2022 7:00 AM

Here’s wishing a very happy Christmas to all our readers.

We won’t be posting anything today as we’ll be spending time with our families and Will is going to be taking a much-deserved rest next week. But I’ll be back in the saddle on Boxing Day. From then until New Year, we’ll be posting less than the usual number of pieces, which will mean the daily email newsletter isn’t as long as normal, and I’ll be doing the news round-up until Will returns next Saturday, and that might look a bit thin, too, depending on how much news there is.

If any of you forgot to get someone a Christmas present, can I recommend a year’s membership of the Free Speech Union? You can buy a gift membership on the FSU’s website here. Not only will you be providing them with some insurance in case a Twitchfork mob comes for them in 2023, but you’ll also be contributing to a great cause.

Thanks to all of you who donated in 2022. I was overwhelmed by the response to my plea for donations on Thursday and plan to thank everyone individually over the next few days.

No doubt the New Year Honours list will contain lots of gongs for all the wrong people, just as last year’s did. So, at the Daily Sceptic we’re planning to produce an alternative New Year Honours list which we’ll publish on December 31st. Please send your suggestions to thedailysceptic@gmail.com, specifying what honour you think they should receive.

Merry Christmas to all of the DS team. We so appreciate your ongoing efforts and I’m sure we can all agree at least on the fact that this place has been a godsend throughout the entire global debacle. A sanctuary for those of us who are like-minded and wish to seek out both information to inform ourselves and stay up to date, but also a place to feel solidarity and a sense of camaraderie when we’ve been surrounded by Covidians and facing our own personal stresses these past few years. You’re responsible for building a community which I hope will continue to grow and go from strength to strength.

Now on a completely unrelated and wholly unfestive note ( the slog must go on! ), a new 30min video featuring Dr Peter McCullough in the first half then Naomi Wolf. McCullough speaks about the gathering data demonstrating how the genetic code from the gene-therapies transcribes into cells’ nuclei, which would have huge ramifications in pregnancy, possibly rendering future generations infertile. Naomi talks about the worrying reproductive data her team of researchers have found. Both speakers’ information not boding at all well for the ongoing low birth rates being noted in various countries. All of this would have been planned and known ahead of time by the manufacturers. So much for the stuff staying in the deltoid, right?

If you believe Karen Kingston they’ve already started converting kids vaccines to mRNA in the US. Tbh, I take things this woman says with a large pinch of salt as she comes out with some right wacky things, so I’d be wanting hard evidence before I go into panic mode personally. But here’s an 8min video so see what you think.

Thankyou. I will watch it. Do you remember who it was who told us it would stay in the deltoid? Was it a scientist or just Pfizer salesmen and politicians?
I have had this argument with vaccine believers, but have forgotten the source.

I really can’t remember where it originated. I know many people, including Dr McCullough, still mention it in passing in their interviews but I don’t have an actual source. Though it’ll most likely be buried in the Pfizer documents somewhere but who has time to wade through vast amounts of documents?

I couldn’t find anything about the arm. Perhaps that part became warped due to Chinese whispers and much repetition over time, but I do distinctly remember how the stuff was meant to leave the body pretty sharpish. See here;

“Once the injected mRNA enters a human cell, it degrades quickly and only stays in the body for a couple of days. This is why people need two injections to develop the best immune response, he says.”

You will laugh/cringe at the sheer amount of bogus information in this 2020 article.

Ah I see. Probably classed as a “personal attack” – one of the few limitations (that I’m aware of) imposed by the mods. It’s a lot freer than most Reddits I imagine, but not sure banning people is really necessary, unless they are obviously persistent trolls derailing everything. There’s no chance of an open pub anywhere in walking distance from central Reading on Christmas day. 🙂

OTOH, the disk in my work/ leisure PC died on Wednesday and while I kept most of my files, I’ve lost the complete dpkg (Debian package manager[*]) database, so I’ll have to write a script/ program to restore it based on the list of names of installed packages. Hence, I can’t complain about not knowing how to kill the time.

[*] I’m actually running a very outdated version of Devuan (ASCII) because I can’t use systemd for religious reason: I can never convince myself to believe in BS.

A special mention for the magnificent picture at the top of this feature; made me laugh so much it kicked off a coughing fit and made me thankful that at least here, we can put this bloody thing in its box – or hang it on a tree- (with a nod to those who don’t reckon it exists – I’ll bet each way).

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years to all men of goodwill…

Although Toby Young has asked us to email our suggestions for the alternative New Year Honours list, I want to mention here one person who immediately springs to mind:

Mark Steyn – for all his great work in highlighting and supporting people who have been vaccine damaged and those who have been bereaved due to the Covid vaccines.

Now he himself has suffered a serious health problem, which – and I am only speculating – could possibly have been caused by the Covid vaccine.

It’s quite plausible that like, for example, Dr Robert Malone and Steve Kirsch, Mark Steyn got the Covid vaccines – before realising how unsafe they are – due to the coercion and travel restrictions designed to force people to get the Covid vaccines against their own person judgement when they otherwise wouldn’t have.

Mark Steyn only joined GB News in October 2021, and as he is Canadian and his home is in New Hampshire, and he hosted TV shows in the USA earlier in 2021, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he got vaccinated sometime in 2021 so that he could travel.

Whether he was vaccinated or not – which he is entitled to keep private if he wishes – he deserves an award not only for supporting the vaccine injured and bereaved but also for informing, educating and simultaneously entertaining us so brilliantly throughout the year.

I hope he will be able to return to hosting his show on GB News as soon as possible, and I hope GB News will have him as a guest on a show before then.

He sounds posh English to me. Perhaps as Canadian as Drs Hodkinson and Hoff, who presumably moved there years ago and now have citizenship? I hope we get an update on Mark soon though. As a straight down the middle kind of guy, as well as advocate for the vax injured, I’d be surprised if he’s been jabbed and doesn’t mention it. It is, after all, how most people’s minds work these days. Well, the red-pilled, non-GMO kind of mind at any rate.

I think I recall him saying he hadn’t taken the booster. Canadians were not allowed on any public transport unless jabbed so that seems conclusive.
I would second any suggestion for a DS gong for ‘Sir’ Mark Steyn; only low-lifes like Blair, Savile and Raine get the other sort.

Well surely if he’s been jabbed he should be shouting it from the rooftops given that he can now sadly testify to joining the ranks of ”Vaccine injured” who he so importantly gives a voice to. I sure as hell wouldn’t be keeping such an important fact to myself if it can strengthen the cause and oppose these death shots given he’s now got personal experience of their damaging effects. Mind you, I don’t know if GBN has some sort of clause whereby he’s unable to declare this fact..

It’s a bit too soon to expect Mark Steyn to ‘be shouting it from the rooftops given that he can now sadly testify to joining the ranks of ”Vaccine injured”’ as his priority right now should be to get well and not worry about anything else.

And furthermore, he himself may not know if his heart attacks were caused by the Covid vaccines, or he may not be sufficiently sure (yet) to ‘be shouting it from the rooftops’ – it has not been unknown for men of his age to have a heart attack, before these Covid vaccines when nobody was vaccinated.

His heart attacks could be coincidental. But it’s happening so frequently theses days it’s difficult to believe that they are all coincidental.

Yes I didn’t mean him climbing on a roof and shouting OR at this very festive time of year. You do take posts very literally don’t you?
And it’s hardly likely if he has been injected with the clot shots that his heart attack is purely coincidental and unrelated. I’m with Drs McCullough and Malhotra. It’s the jabs until proven otherwise. You come across as extremely naive and hugely short of scepticism. Do you not actually read any of the articles on this site? What a bizarre response.

Well seeing as you’re evidently partial to a quote here’s 2;

“..he himself may not know if his heart attacks were caused by the Covid vaccines..”

“His heart attacks could be coincidental.”

Seems you’ve still got a fair bit of detoxing from the Kool-aid still to go before your red-pill journey is complete. Anyway, don’t just take my word for the fact his heart attacks will no way be coincidence if it turns out he’s had the jab, listen to the two aforementioned cardiologists;

We don’t know anything about Mark Steyn’s family health history; there could be an inherited tendency to having a dicky ticker. Wild horses wouldn’t make me take the jabs but it’s important to keep an open mind about possible alternative causes of heart attacks.
I’m sure he will have enough to say when he is back (please God!)

A belated Merry Christmas to all at DS, ATL and BTL.

I suppose I should include the downvoters on this thread, but I guess they inhabit a special brand of misery to which they are welcome, if only they’ll keep it to themselves – either that or explain themselves, instead of hiding behind anonymity.

When looking back to last Christmas, it seems to me we are in a better place, at least as far as stab coercion is concerned. Yet in many ways the scale of the issues ranged against us appears larger and even more sinister.

A quote, which I’ve posted here before comes very much to mind:

Now understand me well – it is provided in the essence of things that from any fruition of success, no matter what, shall come forth something to make a greater struggle necessary.

Walt Whitman, ‘Song of the Open Road’ (1871)

For me, that’s where we’re at now. The lockdown and vaccine sceptics have been proved right, but far bigger issues are now at stake.

As far as the stabs are concerned, I was stuck by a post by Mr Berenson this morning:

2021 was the year the mRNAs failed us.

2022 was the year we failed ourselves, by doubling down after we’d already lost.

2023 will be the year we find out how high a price we pay.

https://twitter.com/AlexBerenson/status/1606739833023610880

Indeed, while I feel tentatively hopeful for 2023 (unstabbed that I and family are), I do shudder to think what might come to light over the coming months.

But to all at DS, ATL and BTL, please continue to pursue the Truth – in the end it’s the only place worth going.

Meanwhile, every year now I’m painfully reminded that Christmas just isn’t Christmas without proper Special Brew, as it once was.
