May I add this to the Round-Up, because all these victims of Lord David Blunkett’s IPP Torture Plan are still being crushed by it, 14 years after it was abolished:

IPP Prisoners 2026: 2,400 Still Jailed on a Sentence Parliament Abolished – HM Prison

“ “My son has served fourteen years for an offence that had a tariff of eighteen months,” one parent told the Justice Committee. “He is not a danger. He is a forgotten person in a forgotten sentence.” That sentiment captures the human dimension that the statistics alone cannot convey. “

Man who stole phone 14 years ago sent back to prison indefinitely

I wonder how many of these victims of injustice are Third World Ethnics.

“None”, I would guess is the answer…

It reminds me of all those political prisoners trapped in lunatic asylums by the old Soviet Union.

Secret prison documents show government plan to tackle IPP scandal will fail | The Independent

“The architect of the flawed sentence, Lord David Blunkett, has since admitted that ushering in the draconian punishments under Tony Blair’s Labour government is his “biggest regret”.”

And yet WHAT HAS HE DONE ABOUT IT,

using his privileged position in the House of Commons or the House of Lords ???

“Free Speech Union to help victims of Germany’s dystopian crackdown”

Are you sure it’s East Germans causing Germany’s downfall? I would expect the wokery to be coming from Western Germany.

No, “Wokery” is Communist, just like East German Youth Stasi member Angela Merkel, as the late great Russian defector Yuri Bezmenov warned the West about the four stages of Communist Subversion:

“Demoralization (15–20 years)
Destabilization (2–5 years)
Crisis (2–6 months)
Normalization (“indefinite”) [2]”

The country that let all the Irish Catholic Terrorists who hate Britain and murdered thousands of British citizens off free, while relentlessly hounding the Irish Protestants loyal to Britain, and the British troops, with lawfare for things that happened decades ago.

Tories accuse power grid operator of lying over blackout risk

They are correct:

The push for net zero has led to…thousands of small installations that do not have to engage directly with NESO. Britain is also increasingly reliant on subsea cables to Europe…Cornwall Insight said the growth of wind farms, solar panels, batteries and other new sources of electricity meant the control room now had “reduced visibility of the capacity which is supplying and taking power from the GB network”…’One control room whistleblower claimed NESO (National Energy Systems Operator) was “flying blind, every minute of every day. We are risking total blackout.” The source added that “the engineers have been raising these issues for two years” but did not feel they had been listened to.’

Leaked Cornwall Insight internal NESO report June 2026

‘Cuba has reached net-zero carbon emissions faster than any other country in the world. The transition is complete with blackouts, economic collapse and widespread despair’

Not completely “flying blind”, with their friends the Met Office alongside (sarc). Then there are conventional clocks as well. With all the “micro power stations” on domestic property, it just looks like reduced load, but lots of other things are linked to the weather.

Is it true in France too?

NeilParkin
NeilParkin

Absolutely. UN2030 encourages rewilding and its being written into all kinds of Environmental Management Policies. Its effect is the build up of combustible materials. Wild fires have always been a feature of summers, especially hot summers. Nothing unusual about it. So when the climate activists come along to commit arson to try and prove their case, or the fire is naturally occurring, the effect is that much greater. Of course everything is ‘unprecedented’, and climate hysteria will force its way into any sane conversation about it, but historic data doesn’t bear this out.

Announce a 2 step policy:

Firstly, build new schools just for special needs pupils where they can receive a more tailored education more suited to their requirements.

Secondly. announce that pupils with special needs and any remaining pupils displaying continual disruptive behaviour will be moved to the new schools.

Then sit back and watch the number of “statemented” pupils fall dramatically – particularly amongst the middle classes.

This has the handy upside that it will save taxpayers billions of pounds.

Mind you, you’d need to be ex SAS to work in the new schools. Not a job for the faint-hearted.

As an aside, a friend of mine in his mid sixties has a new job. He picks up a “chaperone” and then a special needs child and drives them 12 miles to school. He then drives back and drops the chaperone back at their house. This is repeated in the afternoon to collect the child. He earns enough to live on doing this 5 days a week. The amount spent on these children is staggering and there must surely be ways to spend the money more efficiently and also for the benefit of the children who really need it.

“Kick the rich, Gary Lineker urges, but a wealth tax won’t work”

Is it me or do the wealthy lefties only come out with this stuff when their accountants have found them some loopholes, or set up offshore trusts so they never have to pay it. The wealth that Lineker has is different to the wealth that a family owed business has, for example. He doesn’t seem to understand that.

Indeed, and in any case the main objectives of a wealth tax are to annoy the rich but above all to play to the crowd and make out you’re Robin Hood.

Or are they all just part of a Mega-Coven, like the Satanic Mafia stealthily seizing control of the world?

Yes, and one public response to Ross Clark summed it up best:

— “Have you still failed to grasp the Uni-Party method? In opposition they know exactly what the public wants, once trusted with power they immediately revert to the plan. 14 years of control demonstrates exactly what will happen!”

Since she doesn’t represent the thinking of the bulk of the Parliamentary Party it seems unlikely on two counts.

The public don’t believe her because… see above + last 14 years of “Conservative” Government.

Her “colleagues” will defenestrate her prior to an election if victory looks likely, for one of their own.

Reform UK is now de facto the main Opposition Party, the Tories join the Lib Dems as the also-rans.
