Police “Toned Down” Statement of Mother Whose Daughter was Murdered by Asylum Seeker to Prevent Race Riots

2 min read

Police guided the grieving mother of Rhiannon Whyte – stabbed 23 times by a Sudanese asylum seeker in October 2024 – to soften her public statements, fearing the truth might provoke social unrest. Siobhan Whyte says officers told her they didn’t want “another Southport”, and has since accused the Prime Minister of having “blood on his hands”. The the Mail has the story:

Police “guided” the family of a hotel worker in “toning down” their public statements after she was murdered by an asylum seeker – in case their words led to anti-immigration rioting.

Rhiannon Whyte, 27, was stabbed 23 times with a screwdriver by Sudanese national Deng Majek while waiting at a train station in October 2024.

Majek, 28, who was sentenced to 29 years in prison in January, then spent the night dancing and drinking in the car park of Park Inn Hotel in Bescot, Walsall, where Rhiannon worked.

Her death came three months after the fatal stabbings of three young girls in Southport by 17 year-old Axel Rudakubana, a British citizen of Rwandan descent.

Anti-migrant riots broke out following misinformation which was circulated online claiming that Rudakubana was a Muslim asylum seeker who had recently arrived in Britain on a small boat.

Now, Rhiannon’s mother, Siobhan, has claimed police said they didn’t want “another Southport” when she told them her daughter’s life support was to be turned off.

She said: “Did they tell us what to say? No. Did they guide us so it didn’t look so aggressive? Maybe. I was aggressive – they toned it down.”

Ms Whyte – who stresses that she is grateful for the help she received from the police in the aftermath of her daughter’s murder – added: “I think they didn’t want violence… they didn’t want a riot.”

It follows revelations in last week’s Mail on Sunday about how the Government’s secretive Research, Information and Communications Unit tries to manage the “challenges” of multiculturalism by manipulating public mood following murders or terrorist incidents with a racial element.

When Rhiannon’s family told police they were turning off her life support, officers quickly removed migrants from the Park Inn Hotel where Majek had been living and where Rhiannon was on the staff.

Ms Whyte added: “Those migrants were out within two hours – I think that’s because [the police] feared violence.”

It was only after Majek was sentenced that Ms Whyte mentioned the fact he had arrived in the UK on a small boat three months before the attack – and criticised Sir Keir Starmer. She said: “The Prime Minister’s got blood on his hands.”

All the statements from family are always really false-sounding, whether it’s when you hear them speak on the telly or what’s printed in the papers. You’ve got bereaved parents apparently up to giving a comment to reporters to print the same day or day after their kid’s been murdered? I don’t think so. I wouldn’t be able to string a sentence together, let alone face a journo to provide them with a juicy titbit of a statement, and it’s highly unethical for these vultures to be pestering families who are in shock and newly grieving anyway.
I’ve also wondered if there’s some sort of gagging order put on the families because, even after they’ve been made to give these phony, edited statements, why aren’t they taking to social media to put the record straight and convey their true feelings in their own words? They can’t all be Leftard pro-immigration types. Why aren’t they raging and voicing their undiluted, non-sanitised views about a system which is responsible for robbing them of their loved one? Leo Kearse speaks about this very topic here

”Have you noticed how after every terror attack or racially sensitive murder, the bereaved family always releases the same… Read more »

Dear family, it appears that you have a problem with the guests I invited to our house. You say that you extended a warm welcome and provided them with food, shelter and entertainment and told them to treat this as their home. You say that they keep misbehaving and have disrespected the hospitality accorded them. Well I must tell you that whatever discord there is in this house is YOUR FAULT and that you are BAD PEOPLE for thinking that there is something wrong or that the guests really ought to piss off. If I hear any more complaints you will be confined to your rooms until you accept the error of your ways.

And Ms Whyte’s repeated requests for a meeting with PM Starmer have so far received no reply.

News no one is surprised by.

How much more of this are we going to take?

Elsewhere moves are afoot to ensure we never know the truth…

Well done to the Daily Mail and Lord Toby for featuring this appalling news.
The government did the same to Henry Nowak’s family. (I just found out that when police looked at Henry’s mobile phone, they saw that he had chosen a Bible verse as a background.)

When white people protest about their people being murdered, it’s called “Race Riots”.

When Third World Ethnics protest about anything at all, it’s called “Social Justice”.

Great comment from the public:

” I’ve often pondered this. The statements that families give are often so calm and measured that it’s difficult to understand in the circumstances. So now we know that families are manipulated at the worst possible time, by the state! “

I would imagine they’re given a “suggested” draft statement ….

Exactly this. I’ve often felt really chastened reading the families statements because – and it is terrifying to even imagine it – that if I was in their place, I would holler and rage non-stop, with not a shred of dignity.

Why should I internally combust in order to protect those in supposed authority who have engineered events and caused such tragedy, pain and heartbreak?

I wonder what threats the pigs push on these poor people to make them toe the line, probably threaten to arrest them for hate speech citing lucy Connolly as example.

Alternative reports from Belfast said that the government “Nudge Units” or “Damage Limitation Gangs” convinced the victim’s family that if they didn’t tone down their response, any resulting riots would be THEIR FAULT!

Be fun though if they said ‘f*** you’ and live on camera said what they really feel and hammered the police and politicians for the useless scum that they are.

More likely by telling them that they will be responsible if there is more violence – more innocent people may get killed “and you wouldn’t want that on your conscience, would you?”
