Zack Polanski has liked several social media posts which accuse Sir Keir Starmer of being on the payroll of powerful Jewish people and claim Zionists control the Government. The Telegraph has the story.
The Green leader liked messages which said Sir Keir was receiving money from “Zionist philanthropists” and asked “how much does Israel pay him?”
All of the remarks were posted on Bluesky, a Left-wing social media network that was set up to rival Elon Musk’s X, within the past six months.
A Green Party spokesman said: “Zack makes no apology for highlighting the close relationship between Israel and the Labour Government, which has led to Labour and Keir Starmer arming and supporting a genocide, a bit more of an issue than liking some social media posts.”
The Greens are embroiled in an antisemitism scandal over remarks made by the party’s candidates for the local elections on May 7th.
Polanski, who is Jewish, has said that he has been the victim of antisemitic abuse, including last week, while on the campaign trail.
He told broadcasters on Sunday that during a recent rally in Hastings, “someone did a Nazi salute in my direction”, adding: “This is not an abstract, philosophical conversation for me.”
The Green leader is a prolific user of Bluesky, and has liked nearly 35,000 posts on the site since April 1st 2025, an analysis by the Economist found.
Among the posts he liked was one on November 9th 2025 in response to an interview he had given, in which he said he would not work with Sir Keir.
The poster, using the handle Urris, wrote: “Well said, Zack Polanski.
“Starmer and his corrupt Cabinet receive large sums of money from Zionist ‘philanthropists’ and private healthcare who, apparently, don’t expect anything in return…”
It attracted two likes, one of which was from Polanski’s verified account. The Green leader also liked a similar post which went up on April 24th 2026.
The post, by user falconer59, said: “What a disgrace Starmer clinging to the same old trope,” adding: “How much does Israel pay him?”
Mr Polanski’s account was the only account to like it.
A day earlier, the Green leader also appears to have liked a third post on the site which suggested Labour was being paid by Jewish people.
The post was by ChayBristol, whose account appears to have since been deleted.
It read: “The ‘Labour Friends of Israel’ and their paymasters seem rattled. Starmer has to go, everyone knows it, he is just clutching at desperate straws to delay the inevitable.”
Stop Press: Rachel Millward, the Green Party co-deputy leader, has shared a conspiracy theory about the Golders Green attack in which two Jewish men were stabbed, claiming a third victim on the day, who was Muslim, had been “erased” from news stories to “suit a weaponised, desperate narrative”.
I anticipate a crisis much sooner than the timescale you mention.

the greens used to have class, until that awful Caroline Lucas took over, ever since then they have been degrading exponentially.

The Blackbelt Barrister on youtube has a great video from Far Left Newsnight where an audience member asks Rachel Millward who is responsible for increased anti-semitism. You could hear a gnat fart as the horror of the question hit Millward and leftie Bruce. They tried to pretend not to understand the question and tried to get the questionner to say the M word but he just repeated the question. Millward blamed the cost of living crisis and predictably Reform while avoiding the question.

The first victim of the Golders Green nut case was in Southwark. The fact that the attacker then travelled to Golders Green proves that he wanted to kill Jews and it’s unlikely his actions were due to a mental health crisis. If he’d been having a severe psychotic/paranoid episode it’s highly likely that after the attempted stabbing he would have gone on the rampage in Southwark stabbing random people.

Isn’t it about time we started refering to him as just having Jewish roots. He is neither practicing as a Jew nor is he philosophically inclined towards Judaism.

The way I see him: an unashamed opportunist. The sort of person who, for an extra 10% of votes, would sell his sister to a whorehouse.
Anti-Zionist Jews are indeed a paradox and I can’t begin to get my head around the concept. If these particular Jews do not think their people have the right to self-determination then doesn’t that by default indicate they’re siding with the very people who are very vocal about hating their guts and wanting them dead? There are Muslims of the Jihadist kind ( think ‘Palestinians’ as an obvious example ) who would kill them as soon as look at them and I’m not convinced they’d stop and ask ”Are you a Zionist or Anti-Zionist kind of Jew?” first, and show any kind of mercy. They just hate Jews. So I think these anti-Zionist Jews are some sort of masochistic traitors with a death wish.
I don’t know – lots of Jews have grown up in countries other than Israel and have roots going back generations in those countries. Perhaps some feel that this is sufficient, and that the actions taken to create the modern state of Israel and what has been done since is morally wrong and/or a tactical mistake*. I can only speculate what I would think – certainly as a born and bred Israeli I’d probably feel very pro-Israel, but perhaps as a British Jew I would feel differently.
*You could argue that the creation of Israel and what has happened since has caused as many problems as it has solved. I may not argue that, but it’s at least plausible.
It really makes one wonder why the US Congress gives standing ovations to Netenyahu when there are several arrest warrants against him from the ICC and a UN Commission concluded that the State of Israel is responsible for committing genocide and that Netenyahu specifically incited the commission of genocide – quite apart from what’s happening currently in Lebanon. And that the US and UK continue to arm Israel and supply Israel with intelligence
Just might be something to do with AIPAC in the USA and” Friends of Israel” here.
But obviously those bodies don’t have any influence over government policy whatsoever. Don’t conflate the above with any liking whatsoever for Polanski please.
