A relative ran the Paris marathon a couple of weeks ago. I watched the livestream, and there was no sign of any wokeness at all, no people dressed as dinosaurs, and no one running carrying a fridge. Apparently this is a serious event and runners just run without raising money or signalling their virtue.
Yes, now these marathons are all about winning the prize money, especially Ethnic African runners from East African countries like Kenya and Ethiopia, who train full-time by running in the high mountain ranges of their homelands, which gives them a huge advantage in lung capacity and endurance when running in marathons, which are almost always held at SEA LEVEL, so no normal runners have any chance against them.
One Kenyan won $half a million dollars from winning the Boston Marathon for 4 years. It can no longer be called an amateur sport, and the whole fun, charity element has been trampled under the jackboot of greedy, unscrupulous Third World people after the cash.

I attended the #Together rally against Digital ID in Trafalgar Square yesterday, and it was a great event overall. There was a large stage, a strong line-up of short speeches, plus a few singers, a comedian, and a striking banner bringing it all together.
Similar rallies were happening in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, with live video links connecting the crowds — a really nice touch that made it feel like part of something bigger. The set-up was smooth and well organised, and we were lucky with a beautiful sunny day.
The only downside was the relatively low turnout, but even so, it was a positive step — and hopefully it helped raise awareness and get more people thinking about the issues surrounding Digital ID.
Very sadly, I must disagree. The turnout was wretched – probably fewer than 500 people. The sound system was unreliable, with some speeches being almost inaudible. Mrs Jamster and I left after two hours as the speeches were repetitive and becoming boring. The only really good contributions during the first two hours were from the great Harry Miller and from Alan Miller himself. Depressing.
