“White liberals who want to put me in a box can f— off” – “Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has told white liberals”
So racism is fine as long as you’re a Third World Ethnic.
This is yet more egregious hypocrisy from Shabby Foulmouth, who forgets that “Racist White Liberals” have handed SIX of the last SEVEN HOME SECRETARY posts to Third World Ethnics like herself. (The only White Man, Grant Shapps, only lasted a week, so he doesn’t count). No wonder the borders have been flung wide open, when foxes are in charge of the henhouse.
Shame on her for spewing gutter language in the UK Parliament, and for deceiving the British people with promises of tackling the Third World Ethnic Invasion, while doing nothing effective to stop it. She is unworthy to represent this country as a British government minister.
“Reeves vows to unlock ‘tens of millions’ of barrels of North Sea oil” ten million barrels is 5 large tankers – that is not really going to help much, dear.
I do wish the Telegraph headline writers would be more accurate. She’s not going to do anything except get out of the bloody way. “Reeves vows to stop obstructing businesses from pursuing lawful, helpful activities”.
“Five on trial for child sexual exploitation gang in Denbighshire” – there are some good Welsh names there
Oh yes, definitely Welsh, white and working class 🙂
Choirboys.
““Pilots reprimanded for drawing penis shapes in the sky” – Finnish air force cadet pilots have been told off for drawing penis shapes in the sky with their flight patterns, says the Daily Star.”
At last, some good news for a change… but of course some finger-wagging nanny had to Crack Down on the one bit of fun evident in today’s News Roundup.
“Why Reform won’t fix immigration”
Correct! Unless, they pull out from the echr, then they may stand a chance, let’s give them that chance and woe betide if they break it!
The video is funny, in a sort of 1980s sort of way.
But of all the things they are taking a dig at him for, in my view, one is important (the winter fuel, budget deficit one) and the rest are just political sideshows.
And this is the problem, the pantomime we are treated to doesn’t really get into the important subject, just the sideshows. Sideshows compared to censorship laws, immigration problems, stealth undermining of Brexit, NetZero suicide and just generally the UK collapsing under the weight of insane, pointless bureaucracy and regulation.
The whole Mandelson saga especially is just a bunch of stupid, inconsequential outrage porn.
Very much so, but if it brings down the Shop Dummy then happy days.
I’m with stewart on this one. The only important thing to my mind is for people to wake up and reject globalist socialism and the tyranny of the bureaucrats. I’d actually prefer Starmer to stay as he will be more likely than most to accelerate that (though Milibrain might outperform him).
It was outrage porn when it was about mandelson’s being friends with epstein, but now the web of treachery involving the fact that his government is basically run by the CCP is exposed, it’s looking a lot more sinister.
“Fines are the only way to uphold university free speech”
‘only way’.? Not firm moral leadership then.?
“Miliband to wipe out energy debt of poorest households in Iran bailout”
I’m guessing ‘The Poor’ doesn’t include working families?
“Olly Robbins has just destroyed Starmer’s premiership”
…Starmer seems perfectly capable of destroying his own premiership. Where is the ‘grandee’ to put their hand on his shoulder and lead him to the door. I find it objectionable that the media is presenting him as a fighter, fighting to save his career. He isn’t. He’s a bluffer, and and incompetent arsehole who’s presence is ruining my country a bit more every day. Feck his career. He works for us. Begone.
I’ll Second that 👍
Labour don’t seem to operate like that, and, to be fair to the Tories, they can get shot of a leader much more effectively it seems…
“This attack on ‘boomers’ exposes the rank hypocrisy of the millennial Left”
Its almost as if people who have been educated when it wasn’t plain indoctrination, got jobs and worked hard, met and married and had kids, bought houses, built pensions, accumulated wisdom, know nothing worth knowing.
👏👍
Well yes, but in my experience people are usually more left wing when they are young. I believe in general that as one goes through life and is forced to some extent to stand on your own two feet, one does become a little wiser. But there are plenty of “boomer” idiots and I have spoken to a fair few young people who are wide awake. I don’t think dividing people into arbitrary categories based on age is very helpful.
tof, ^^^this^^^ imo, reveals a significant and rarely, if ever, spoken truth about modish and appealing short-hand (i.e. clichés).
Crass lumping together (i.e. labelling) of individual people into groups defined by their ages and so, assuming or, attributing that somehow they all have other shared behaviours or characteristics like: aspirations, motivations, reactions, expectations and life-outcomes is intellectually lazy, divisive, dehumanising and spiritually disgusting.
Of course, such herding by reductionism of human populations in this way is the modus operandi of human history’s worst murderous despots. e.g. Stalin, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Hilter, Franco, Mussolini, Pinochet, Ceaușescu, Idi Amin, Mengitsu, Kim Il-sung, the Ayatollahs, Báthory, etc.
So, thank you all: sociologists, ‘journalists,’ politicians, marketeers, researchers, think-tanks, the Resolution Foundation, et. al. for this pervasive and catchy but completely insulting bllx.
Indeed. Generalisations can be true and there are times when one must make decisions based on them, absent more precise information. But generally it’s lot more helpful to argue about the strengths and weaknesses of ideas than to focus on particular groups who may or may not have more or less of these ideas than other groups.
