Who is Farrukh?

Farrukh – full name Farrukh Younus – is one of the most prolific accounts on X. With 115k followers, he will frequently be found pushing radical Left-wing talking points. But who is he? Charlotte Gill investigates.

In today’s article, I’m going to answer a question you’ve probably never asked: who is Farrukh? (And hopefully explain why you should care who Farrukh is.)

Farrukh – full name Farrukh Younus – is one of the most prolific accounts on X. At the time of writing his eponymous account (whose handle is 'implausibleblog') has 115,600 followers and has posted over 273,000 times. He describes himself as a “Content Creator”, “Photo Video and Drone Pilot” and “Entrepreneur and Tech Geek”:

Even if X users don’t explicitly recognise Farrukh’s name, anyone using the app is bound to have seen a clip circulated by him, or be familiar with his handle and the photograph of him looking into the horizon.

X users are especially unlikely to realise that the ultimate purpose of Farrukh’s account is to disseminate a political agenda.

Recently, for instance, Farrukh has repeatedly plugged Zack Polanski, leader of the Green Party…

…and Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain (a pro-EU organisation that’s received millions in funding from George Soros)...

…as well as retweeting Marina Purkiss, a political commentator employed by Global (she hosts its show The Trawl):

I mention Purkiss because she and Younus were both attendees of Carol Vorderman’s book launch last year. Although this may seem irrelevant, Vorderman’s launch involved a series of interconnected political groups and their activists (Vorderman has also been – or still is – an employee of Global, like Purkiss).

Organisations and groups and their representatives at Vorderman’s book launch included Byline

BladeoftheSun is another account that I suspect isn’t real – posts left-wing stuff many times a day and rarely engages in debate or replies on a post: https://is.gd/JT08Qm

I saw that Marina Purkiss tweet elsewhere without her name and thought it was a piss take.
Funny how she assumes somebody with a brown face is a migrant. Sounds a bit racist to me.

Well you can’t ask, Who is? about somebody of whom you have never heard.

“Farrukh – full name Farrukh Younus – is one of the most prolific accounts on X. At the time of writing his eponymous account (whose handle is ‘implausibleblog’) has 115,600 followers and has posted over 273,000 times.”

There seems to be a misapprehension in the Commentariat, that the “lots of” followers are diverse and representative of the broader global population, whereas (Elon Musk) aside, it is a homogenous group of echo-chamberists.

I keep reading how my political views must be being shaped by “misinformation” on social media by people I never follow or read.

And Fascism and Communism are the 2 cheeks on the same totalitarian arse of course.

Muslim-Indian boy, from the Jihad-supremacist cult, as an X ‘influencer’. Another reason not to use ‘social media’. Bad for mental health.

Yes – birds of a feather. They are all Statists and as Mussolini explained: The State, everything within the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.

Why is the Electoral Commission not calling for these organisations and the Soros source to register as campaign organisations.
