In my last Daily Sceptic article I wrote about how a “Schools of Sanctuary” scheme is bringing US open borders into UK schools.
Today I will show readers even more evidence of open borders being promoted in the classroom via Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.
Stockport has already committed to being a “City of Sanctuary” and recently took part in Refugee Week, “the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary”.
Sanctuary schemes are spearheaded by the charity ‘City of Sanctuary UK’, which is funded by organisations including the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, a trust which explicitly believes in open borders.
Being a “City of Sanctuary” is just the start of Stockport’s efforts to welcome new arrivals though.
Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council also has its own “Ethnic Diversity Service” (which I shall refer to as SEDS).
The service addresses a reality laid out on SEDS’ X page; the fact that almost “one-third of nursery-age children use English as an additional language”.
Far from this being a source of concern or a sense that this is parents’ issue to address, Stockport Council sees it as its job to help.
Accordingly, SEDS offers a large range of EAL (English as a second language) support to schools, including “specialist teachers” and “a large bank of trained bilingual assistants”. One type of expert is an “Ethnic Minority Achievement (EMA) specialist teacher” who, among other things, provides “direct support to new arrivals”.

See the sad eyes above the smile of the Ethnic European boy, wishing he weren’t being forced to participate in this cringeworthy charade.

“Why are they participating in these schemes?” “Why don’t they want voters to know about them”?
Because if it were made widely known from the get-go, it would be met with swift opposition and the level of parental intervention and complaints about their child’s “education” would be prohibitive to the progress of these schemes.
They would rather weasel their way into children’s minds like a Trojan Horse… under the radar.
If voters did know, for whom would they vote?
What also worries me is the failure of SEDS to use punctuation correctly. What hope do the non-English speakers have if those “helping” them with language can’t use it properly themselves.

To be able to speak English is a life advantage the world over, let alone living and operating in the UK. So to refrain from challenging a child, educated in the UK, to speak and learn English, is to diminish their chances of success later in life. The “diversity” contagion has a lot to answer for.
