Today, I wanted to introduce Daily Sceptic readers to “The Movement Forward” (MVTFWD), a group that’s been busy trying to meddle in our democracy.
Most people will have never heard of MVTFWD, but they may know of its supporters. Perhaps the most famous is Carol Vorderman, who was literally its poster girl...
…and has plugged “coordinated anti-Tory tactical voting” on TV:

It’s not obvious whether former Big Brother housemate Narinder Kaur is a member but she certainly supports the cause…
…and attended MVTFWD’s Christmas gathering last year:
To the outside observer, MVTFWD may look like a group of social-media buddies who all share the same views. But it’s actually a very well organised outfit.
It was registered with the Electoral Commission in June last year, where it was given two campaigning names: Movement Forward and Swap My Vote…
…whose inspiration appears to come from a US movement:
MVTFWD was registered with the Electoral Commission by “Mr Thomas de Grunwald”, a campaigner with connections to The Good Law Project…

Well she famously quit the Tories when Cameron didn’t honour his promise of a peerage, so how does she now feel about Kier as he hasn’t elevated her either and she can’t possibly support his recent policies after what she was saying before the election. Eventually these tactical voters run out of people to support as they gradually get let down by the party they lend their support to. Slightly off topic, but why is socialism always branded as progressive, when it is so often regressive?
That’s because there very idea of a political progression from some bad old state to a better newer state is a Marxist idea/ theory called historical materialism.
MVTFWD?
Do they have a flag, a parade, a month?
It certainly won’t do Reform any harm!
There seems to be dozens if not hundreds of these well funded organisations – NGOs/Think Tanks, whatever they call themselves.
