Lord Frost chose not to address the elephant in the room that we no longer trust a word the Tories say. We saw them give away N. Ireland and give away many Brexit benefits as well.
The final straw was the millions given to France & Rwanda to achieve FO.
So I cannot see any return of these voters to the Tories.

Thanks to Laurie Wastell for that fascinating interview with our fearless leader Toby Young, reporting from his “Free Speech Down Under” Tour.

Great news about him setting up a new International Association of Free Speech Unions, which could encourage patriots from non-English speaking countries to join in and launch their own national organisations. That really is a fantastic idea, so well done to Toby and all concerned. I hope we will be hearing more about that in the future.

I’m a bit confused about his linking Communist Wokery with Protestantism and Puritans, which are the exact opposite, and were the innocent victims of the Inquisition founded by Jesuits, who introduced horrific torture and burning faithful Christians alive at the stake for disagreeing with Vatican dogma and translating the Bible into languages the ordinary people could understand. I think he must be referring to the Mass Murderer John Calvin (Cauvin/Cohen), whose evil doctrines, like those of Evil “saint” Augustine before him, wreaked such havoc on Christianity.

Anyway, thanks for making that audio interview available here, for those dinosaurs like myself who haven’t a clue about smartphones and podcasts and apps.

First, Lord Frost admits the CO is not currently or ecently a conservative party. Then he says they should become conservative and complete with or merge with Reform because, he claims, there cannot be two parties “on the right”. The term “right” does not apply in any way to Reform but I suppose it is now so regarded as anyone for wants a smaller state, lower tax, more liberty.

I do not believe the Tories can more there. Second, I see no reason to want to retain or recover the Tories. It has failed badly over 14 + years. I do not mean they made mistakes, I mean they failed badly. Why try to refurbish such a thing which will end up as centre left!

I am not at all sure howw you can reverse Labour changes to the constitution. 14 years of Tories reversed none of Blair’s atrocities. If Labour introduce a Senate arrangement oit will not be possible ever to change it again.

Tories did not lose confidence towards the end. They showed acceptance and, as far as we can tell, agreement or acceptance of all that Blair – Brown did. They did not object during the B-B… Read more »

I think any incoming Government can change anything assuming they have a clear mandate, and they are clear what they need to do. So you might start with some kind of enabling legislation to enable your programme in such a way that the blob could not legally undermine it.

The conservatives did not see that they needed to get out of the ECHR and srap the Equalities Act. But to do so you need to replace them with something better, and better for the people.

Although I am now minded to support a proportional representation system, in the context of a weakened party system and an enhanced constituent representation…… (One of the current problems with the PR and First past the post argument is that it is in this context of a toxic party system) …..you do have to get yourself into the right ball part context first, which unfortunately we are nowhere near. Because once you get PR, it will then be more or less impossible to change the fundamentals.

Hi Toby

Really not sure about the comments associating Wokery with non conformism, you are just conflating two different issues which happen to run parallel to the Anglosphere. Yes the Anglosphere ‘ took’ the reformation, but that has nothing to do with Wokery.

Wokery stems from a lack of belief or faith which is now also generally apparent in the angloshere, not from faith.

The problem is there is no such thing as ‘no belief’ or ‘no faith’ or ‘no ideology’, there is no neutral position – which is why a technocracy is also an ideology. One of the traits of atheists and unbelievers etc is that they fail to see theirs is still a faith or world view, which has primary beliefs or facts which other aspects are then brought in to line with and decided upon. All positions have primary facts and beliefs, own it!

Wokery is political correctness gone puritanical. It is this new post modern relativistic belief, which now has enough confidence to think its doing good in enforcing it upon others. It is the new way of righteousness.

Jonathan Ashworth, man…. What an absolute clown. He was unseated by people charged with terrorism offences and yet he’s clearly still the Muslims’ bitch. Total embarrassment of a man. He is exactly the type that would’ve looked the other way when he knew what the Pakistani rape gangs were doing;

”A Labour MP was voted out of his “safe” seat after Islamists waged a vicious sectarian campaign against him.
