News Round-Up

  • “Could lockdown have left children with life-long immunity problems?” – Lockdowns may have had unintended consequences for children’s developing immune systems, which could affect them for some time to come, the Mail reports.
  • “I’m pro-science. That’s why I’m anti-mask” – The landmark Cochrane study shows that the mask sceptics were right, says the U.S. Spectator.
  • “Almost £1bn spent on anti-Covid drug that doesn’t work” – Under 2% of 2.23 million courses of molnupiravir bought by the Department of Health have ever been prescribed, the Telegraph reports.
  • “Voters are ‘sick to death’ of net zero, says Lee Anderson” – The new deputy Conservative Party chairman says it must “stop pandering to footballers” (presumably Neville and Lineker?) over policies that are “not a vote winner”, according to the Telegraph.
  • “The Mass Extinction Fraud” – Contrary to 60 Minutes, the facts are overwhelming that earth isn’t in the midst of an “extinction crisis”, writes WUWT.
  • “Grant Shapps faces Tory mutiny over hydrogen levy plans” – Grant Shapps, the new Energy Secretary, is facing a Tory backlash over plans for a hydrogen levy to be added onto household bills, the Telegraph reports.
  • “Universities can cancel your degree for wrongthink – and there’s no real right to appeal” – The Government’s free speech reforms may let students sue – but they will be no use to those who don’t have the money to do so, writes Juliet Samuel in the Telegraph.
  • “Tavistock scandal ‘on a par with East German doping of athletes’” – More than 1,000 children were referred for puberty blockers at an experimental gender clinic where concerns were ignored to preserve a “gold dust” NHS contract, the Times reports.
  • “Christian nurse ‘suspended from NHS course’ by ‘woke’ health chiefs” – Lecturers at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust told nurse Amy Gallagher “whites don’t understand the world” and “Christianity is responsible for racism because it’s European”, according to the Mail.
  • “Rees-Mogg claims Brexit led anti-terror body to link him to far-right” – Britain’s woke counter-terror strategy linked Jacob Rees-Mogg to extremists, the Mail on Sunday reports.
  • “A British Stasi is being created by the liberal elite” – Powerful arms of Government are making a connection between conservative thought and speech and ‘Right-wing extremism’, writes Peter Hitchens in the Mail on Sunday.
  • “Tube manager who called George Floyd ‘scum’ was unfairly sacked, tribunal rules” – Tracy Webb was accused of posting “racially divisive” online comments, but has now won a claim of unfair dismissal, the Telegraph reports.
  • “The woke war on history aims to abolish the West itself” – Bowdlerising the past means taking away everything we have to be proud of too, writes Zoe Strimpel in the Telegraph.
  • “Insolent, unproductive and dominated by HR, the Civil Service thinks it rules Britain” – The only solution to ‘The Blob’ is a serious reduction in numbers, releasing bureaucrats to the private sector, writes Daniel Hannan in the Telegraph.
  • “Sturgeon is imploding – as is her extreme agenda” – Scotland’s First Minister has surely opened people’s eyes to the absurdity of gender ideology, writes Camilla Tominey in the Telegraph.
  • “Fake trans applicants ‘could trick universities’” – Transgender applicants are being offered “ethically dubious” preferential access to a university, raising fears that fraudsters could game the system to get ahead of straight-A pupils, the Times reports.
  • “The slow creep of ugliness into the language of public debate is impossible to ignore” – we have grown accustomed to the knee-jerk application of lazy slurs and the smearing of reputations, says Neil Oliver.
  • “Dr. Robert Malone stars in a rap video” – watch Dr. Malone and other sceptics of the Covid narrative in this frankly excellent rap video.

Whoever made this is a genius 👏
